What’s going on ladies? I wishing this will end sooner then they are planning.

I’m currently doing work from my dining room and the kids are eating breakfast in the living room while watching Frozen. L is having a hard time understanding that he can’t keep coming to me to tell me about nothing.

I'm in the office and MH is home with the kids. I'm trying to get as much done here as possible because working from home yesterday was laughable.

Morning! We did “school” this morning, built a fake volleyball court with a rope and balloons, and now we’re watching scratch garden.
No idea what the afternoon holds.
I placed an instacart order a few days ago that I keep adding to. It has now tripled in size bc I am sure most things are not available, but I really want yeast and more flour!

Morning! I'm in the office, but packing things up to take home and set up shop there. My phone is transferred to my cell already, so I feel like I should run. But I'm still working on the printer situation.

Hi ladies. My boss is really working to try to advocate for safe working conditions for us. Eventually I think I'll be able to work from home part-time so that's something. With a few exceptions, all of our appointments are telephonic now. Yesterday someone showed up at our office (ignoring warnings posted all over the doors), they did a health screening and he reported he's been in contact with someone who tested positive. *smh* They had him leave right away. But WTF? It was a soldier so his commander should have ordered quarantine. This morning soldiers were running in close formation and yesterday a picture was shared by the NG of the band practicing close together. Once again, clear directives are needed because some people fail to get it.

Yesterday the workbooks I ordered for the girls arrived from Amazon. They had a lot of fun with them. I asked M what she thinks about homeschool so far. She said it's "awesome" and that her teacher "repeats the same things over an over." I think she is enjoying the opportunity for a faster pace that is more at her level. She worked on a math page and was solving the problems quicker than I could.

I set my alarm for 8am last night and it somehow got turned off in the process, so It was after 9 when we woke up. Whoops. Not sure what is on the agenda today. I may need to make a grocery run for fresh fruit and veggies.

Call me nuts, but I just ordered dds birthday presents (it’s not her birthday untill the last day of May...) if a lock down where to happen at least that is just one less thing to worry about.

Morning. SSDD here. It’s raining so I don’t know if we will be able to go outside this afternoon. I’m planning to take the girls to the school to pick up free lunches, might as well. It’s grab and go so we don’t have to stick around or anything.

wedding did you tell C that Tom Brady isn’t on the pats anymore?

Nope. Apparently that had something to do with work at home, which I can’t do for my job anyway. I feel pretty good with the work situation right now. they had someone close to the door screening people for me and I sit behind a big desk so I’m not super close to people when they do come up. I’m just keeping an eye on the cdc guidelines and taking it one day at a time.

I’m grateful that Dh has a job that isn’t really affected by all this so he can continue to work, but also a little resentful that he’s not cooped up with us. He’s just carrying on, going to the office etc. it’s just him and his two employees so he’s not around a lot of people, but he has continued with appointments which i think is dumb. He’s also planning on going to a friends house down the street for guys night tonight which really bothers me.

But yet he still talks about how much this all sucks..... dude. You’ve changed nothing, and I haven’t talked to another adult in 3 days.

I'm the opposite.  The idea of being cooped up at home with H and E for potentially weeks, makes me die a little inside.  I mean, I go stir crazy after a weekend.  But I seriously doubt his company will shut down, unless it's ordered by the government.  He isn't travelling, so just him being home EVERY night has me feeling a way.

And I'm surprised people are taking his appointments.  I told a vendor this morning that we are not allowing any unnecessary people into our building, so whatever he wanted to come by for, he needed to send via email or we could set up a call.

So I'm def not overeating, more likely some anxiety driven weight loss. I saw a wapo article about symptoms in kids and I'm not convinced j and n don't already have it. Basically cold symptoms but also diarrhea and vomiting. J has had a couple for weeks and was super tired/low grade fever, and then had diarrhea fri-sun...which I thought was due to too much benefiber at first. And n threw up yesterday but seems fine now. I think my biggest anxiety right now is being too sick to care for the kids and not knowing who to ask for help.

I may try some meditation or yoga classes on the peloton app, I see they have a 90 free trial of anyone wants to try it.

I get that. And it’s unfair to say he should be locked down with us. Trust me, even though I’m an introvert, I’m not a fan of being stuck at home like this.

We had a talk over lunch and I just want him to realize what I see- him off doing his thing while I’m literally stuck home. Today is cold and rainy so we can’t even go outside.

And then he told me to send him my liquor store list and he’ll stop on his way home. And that is why i love him 😂

Any recs on what to order for our backyard? I don't think we have a big enough footprint for a swing set. Maybe a climber and or playhouse? J went out and said it was lonely after 5 min yesterday...

We have the tiniest back yard. A sandbox and some ice cream sets have always done the trick. We have one with a roof to it can double as a playhouse if you hang up a sheet as a curtain.

ETA this is the one, we painted it and it has a hard cover that you can stand on.



ETA 2 a pile of wooden planks and some pieces of beam, chairs, pieces of log are also great. They can build stores, race tracks for their cars, anything basically .
