Weekend!

Morning!

It’s rainy/windy here today so DH cancelled his flight.

I’m living my best Pinterest life and looking at stuff we could potentially do for the (potential) new house.

I’m going to pot the geraniums we bought yesterday and change the sheets. Pretty exciting stuff! We have leftovers for dinner (🙌🏻) and maybe we will let the kids watch Frozen 2. I think Disney will make up their lost park revenue with new Disney+ subscriptions in the next few weeks

Morning! I thought I was going to be disappointed with our canceled plans for Charlie’s birthday, but it was a really nice day in the house.
We spread the presents out throughout the day and had cake before dinner and then again after.
I’m going to deep clean the couch in our bedroom today and look online for a prettier liter box. Big day here! 😂

My final paper for this class is due tonight so I have to finish that. I need to do laundry and dishes. Pulled pork for dinner tonight. I think I’m going to clean out our closet tonight.
I’m also going to let L pick the first arts and crafts project today. Hopefully that keeps him entertained.

Also E learned how to take off her diaper yesterday and thought it was so funny. What did you all do to keep that from happening? L never did that.

C did this all the time. Onsies that snap at the bottom helped some.

I need to run out and get a present for the little boy who's party we're going to. I got my basement done and it looks amazing. The boys are playing down there now. And I know where everything is! Its insane how much I threw away. It's all in bags and piled for now. We all share a dumpster, so I'll throw in 3 or 4 extra bags a week until it's gone. And we have a pile of boxes and wood that I'm hoping to take to the burn pile today. A seems reluctant to carry it up the stairs and out through the house. But it'll be months before its dry enough to go out the walk out and I dont want it down there that long.

I got a lot of variety of crafts and I’m putting them in his treasure box and will let him pick which one he wants to do. I also bought some toys (not in treasure box) so that if this drags out he can get rewards for good behavior weeks. If this doesn’t drag out too long I have Easter gifts.

When I was out yesterday, Michael's had their crafts 50% off. We stocked up.

Last night was the worst night I have had in awhile. When I got home from shopping H wasn't feeling well, but we thought it was the cortisone shot in his should and steroid shots in his hips, both on friday. He ended up throwing up and went to bed super early.

I can confirm it is not from the shots he got, but I think we ate something. I had diarrhea all night and ended up throwing up once. I'm exhausted because I'm a stomach sleeper and couldnt lay on my stomach because it hurt so bad.

Evie seems to be spared, so I'm guess it was something I made for breakfast that she wouldnt eat yesterday. Shes going to my dads at 2 today, to stay the night, so I'm hoping to nap when she leaves.

I might do a craft run too. I think a lot of parents will have the same idea.

I've been wanting to bake, but since the kids have no appetites from being sick I'm going to hold off on that.

Probably going into the unknown with Frozen 2 today.

Disney+ has a bunch of nature/animal movies and we might use those for science time in the afternoons.

Schools, restaurants/cafés, gyms are closing. We’re supposed to get more info in 15 minutes.

I made one last Target run. Got my Easter stuff and $500 worth of other stuff I hopefully will never need. Bought underwear for C. I always used the “I’m never home to potty train” excuse for my kids but if I’m going to be home for a long stretch, maybe I’ll give it a try.

Our school just announced they’re closed through March 27th. And we’re expected to get a snow storm at the end of the week. It’s going to be a long stretch! A little warm weather would make this better. My sisters family is supposed to leave for the Bahamas Wednesday, and they’re still trying to decide what to do. Now with schools closed, their kids won’t be missing any days. And their Airbnb won’t refund any money if they cancel.

N and H spent the weekend at the ILs and Dh will meet them this afternoon to get the kids. We braved the grocery store this morning which was busy but not too crazy.

Okay. Schools are closing until at least April 6th. Three weeks is going to be a long time. It wouldn’t surprise me if we were to go in full lockdown somewhere next week.

I just watched a whole bunch of tasty videos on chocolate chip cookies to find out we have no chocolate chips in the house. Amazon ordered. I know what I’ll be doing on Wednesday or Thursday of this week!

We've watched Frozen 2 and Chicken Little, and are now having indoor Easter egg hunts 'for practice'. This might be the most inspired thing we've done in awhile--I don't think my kids ever get tired of hunting eggs.

Dropped Cadence at my Mom's. I miss her already.
Went and get my curbside groceries. They made some substitutions and then 17 items they didn't have at all. They had the cat food though, which was a main concern of mine.

We started Killing Eve a few days ago, and I cannot wait for bedtime so we can watch a little more tonight!

And just like that schools and daycares closed for us. There’s community transfer here so she’s made the decision.

I’ve talked to B that we’re structuring the day like school, he came back and told me that he’s figured out the timer on the ipad so he’ll set it for recess 😂. Clearly, he’s on board.
