Morning! Normal Wednesday here...B seems to have a new SLP since we've been back, and I'm not really sure what happened to the other one, but I like this one's personality better so I'm not saying anything I might venture out this afternoon with C to look for an Easter/spring pillow for my front porch bench, but otherwise not much on the agenda today.

I don't think I'm ever going to catch up from DST. I stayed up too late (10pm) watching Locke & Key and I regret it.
The cleaning people did not see the dog shit I left on the floor yesterday morning, it was behind a chair, which I don't expect them to move my furniture. I sprayed it again when I got home, then put a wet paper towel over it, and forgot about it, until I was going to bed. So my day yesterday started, and ended, cleaning up dog shit. So far, today is really looking up.

M is on a field trip at the Rodeo today. She was super excited about riding the bus. I reminded her a million times that she doesn't get to go on any of the rides so I hope she's not disappointed.

Cadence has spring pictures today. Hopefully they turn out ok. The dress I bought for it didn't come until last night and I didn't like it for the picture after I saw it on her. So, I pulled a dress from her closet to use. Then she wanted braids in her hair, but didn't want to brush her teeth or hair to speed up the process of getting ready. It was a long morning that resulted in her pouting on the couch crying, "I hate that you always get to tell me what to do." Sry kid, but that's life. So I kindly ASKED her to move her ass and get in the car or she would be late for school.

My dogs are speaking again. I know it's normal for dogs to have little fights but I hate it. My mom is bringing lunch. After I get Matthew on the bus she will take Jack and I am going to run to the store and to pick up my cricut from my brother-in-law's house.

Morning. I had a lot of chores to do today, but my friend texted me around 8 in the morning if I was up for coffee, soooo I went . Took a stroll trough town after with my mom, had a hairdressers appointment for both kids and I made cookies. Kids are currently zoning out in front of the tv and I’m about to start making dinner.

Hi! All the kids home this week is keeping me busy. Yesterday, we went into the cities to swim at the hotel my sister and fam were staying at. Then stopped at the mall and did a little shopping. Just got asked to go to skymaxx tomorrow which is also in the metro. Dh is all... “coronavirus!” But I’m shruggy guy about it, so we’re going to go. I’m putting the miles on this week and driving an hour in all directions everyday for something, guess that’s our spring break travel.
Dh has also almost given the green light on the next house project... which is gutting the kitchen and replacing all the floors and trim on the main floor. So now I’m going down the deep, dark rabbit hole of design options again. It’s exhausting and confusing! #fwp

Morning! It poured all morning here. But now it’s beautiful out! I’m working but going home for a long lunch to try and work on packing and getting the truck ready for our trip to FL. We leave Friday right after work. So I only have tonight and tomorrow night to finish everything up.

That’s exciting re: upcoming house projects slenle! Would y’all be taking down walls or does the existing space work? Your basement turned out so well, I’m sure the kitchen will be equally great. I’m also in the Pinterest rabbit hole lately, if we end up in the house we’re currently considering it would need a kitchen ‘refresh’. So many options!

flamingo ok lets talk house painting. I am between two people and the difference is that one doesnt use the sprayer at all, she said that she will do everything by roller/brushes, and one will use the sprayer on the larger walls and take the doors off site for spraying them. For context we I am getting the whole house painted, closets, new baseboards and window casings, and all doors. Is there an advantage of spraying or rolling for an outcome? or does it matter and just a painter preference?

Hi! I'm not really freaking out over the coronavirus in terms of getting sick (although I'm a little worried about my FIL who's 84 and not in great health). But the economic implications for my family are not great. MH is self employed and his business depends on large gatherings. My company also depends on large gatherings so there has been a huge loss of work over the past few weeks. We've been able to recoup some cancellation fees, but not a ton. I believe my job is secure, but who knows. And MH has already lost a few jobs coming up, one of them a very big one.
So I am starting to stress about all that.

We can go remote starting Monday, but n's daycare is open with reduced hours, so I may still come in as long as the other two schools are open. I really am looking forward to this being in the rearview mirror and hopefully not being as bad as some say. Sorry work isn't looking good jewels, it's really going to have a big impact on small businesses and hourly employees😔.

I wonder if they'll be refunding any money. People pay $$$$ for these concerts.

The rodeo brought in about 391 million in revenue last year for the city of Houston. It's huge that they're cancelling it. I feel terrible for all the kids that will be our scholarship money from this. I wonder if they'll be finding a way to work that out.

I’m not that worried about getting sick, but my grandparents are very old and very frail (86 & close to 94) If they closed school or something like that, for us it wouldn’t really be a problem, because if that were to happen Dh would be home too.
Dh has a fieldtrip to Poland/Auswitz planned in 4 weeks which is up in the air. He has never been there and for anyone, but maybe more so for a historian this was kind of a big deal.
We don’t know about Paris... both of these are very selfishly of course.
