Weeks/Due Date - 27+2 / June 6
The Good - I have a prenatal massage booked for tomorrow afternoon. I cannot wait.
The Bad - I had to shovel the driveway yesterday. I was at it for nearly 2 hours, and I'm hurting so bad from it. I've got that "end of pregnancy waddle" walk happening from it. Fx the massage straightens me up a bit.
Milestones/Appointments - Glucose test and a bunch of other bloodwork this morning, TDAP vaccine this afternoon.
To Do List - book maternity photos

Weeks/Due Date - 24w 2d/June 27th
The Good - Stomach pain is mostly gone away, the new meds the doctor had me try seem to have helped. I have also finally stopped losing weight. We had another ultrasound and there were no other signs of any genetic abnormalities, so they think the SUA is just a standalone variation.
The Bad - still throwing up, not every day, but just about every other day. Stupid Braxton hicks have shown up too.
Milestones/Appointments - I have my second gestational diabetes appointment in 3 weeks, and a growth scan for her in 5 weeks. Oh and we scheduled the c section at my visit last week so provided I don't have any contractions, she'll be born 6/15.
To Do List - Finish painting the nursery (hopefully this week) and start setting it up. I also need to get what little I have in the attic out and get it washed.

I'm debating whether to do maternity pics this time. I did with both of the boys but idk... I'm just not feeling it this time for some reason.

Weeks/Due Date - 27 weeks tomorrow/June 9 - 3 months from today! The Good - Pregnancy stuff is good. Everything else in the world seems to be insane. Potty training DS2 went moderately well over the weekend. My parents are visiting and staying at their condo nearby for a month and it's really nice to have some family back-up help. They took my older kids for a sleepover Saturday night and we had planned to watch a movie after DS2 went to bed, but ended up just gathering documents to refinance our mortgage, which was super exciting The Bad - It's not a fun time to work in the investment industry (both DH and I do) and have lots of work travel. Everything is in limbo. 73-year-old MIL was supposed to fly cross country to visit us tomorrow for a week and cancelled her trip over the weekend. I'm sad for her and the kids, since they don't see each other often, but I understand. DS2 had been snotty and woke up with a cough after nap yesterday. I took him to the doctor first thing this morning to confirm it was just a cold and then sent him to daycare. In-home daycare provider is thrilled about having to help with potty training and wipe his nose. Milestones - nothing else till regular appt. 3/26 and growth ultrasound 4/17. To Do List - I need to buy a new pack n play with all the attachments to have in our room when the baby first comes home, plus a swing. I've never done maternity photos. Our newborn/family photographer is really pricey, so I save our $ for that. She's already got us on her calendar.

Weeks/Due Date - 22w1d / July 12th. Baby is the size of a coconut! (That seems small for this far along?)
The Good - feeling lots of movement! Also got the first big ticket item this past week, the carseat/stroller!
The Bad - had an appt today... cervix is still a good length (3.6), but it is still "funneling" so they are sending me to a high risk MFM for a level 2 u/s to see if she can figure out what's going on or why it continues to funnel. They should be calling me to schedule in the next few days. We will wait to see what happens there as far as future appts go.
Milestones/Appointments - next OB check is scheduled 4/6 for now, glucose test!
To Do List - still crib/nursery furniture shopping.

Weeks/Due Date - 24w1d, 6/28
The Good - I’m feeling really great, baby’s movement is getting stronger
The Bad - I did way too much last week and weekend and my pelvis is paying for it. I will go to the chiro on wed.
Milestones/Appointments - appt on Wednesday! Also I have hit V-day!
To Do List - not much that I can think of this week.
PSA: I found a couple of little unicorn swaddles and quilts at tjmaxx. Might be worth your time to go check your local store out, the swaddles were $5 each.

I have never specifically done maternity pics but we did family pics while I was pregnant with DD2. My photographer has mini sessions in may usually so I would consider doing a family session then, but I haven’t discussed it with DH yet. We are scheduled to do newborn pics after baby is born with her so I might just skip it, idk.

Weeks/Due Date - 28 weeks/May 30
The Good - We made major progress in the baby's room this weekend! Carpet cleaned, walls patched/painted, crib set up, and the dresser in place. I feel so much better about things now.
The Bad - I got in a wreck last Friday (sideswiped on a major highway). Thankfully, I was by myself and me and the other driver are ok, but our car isn't driveable. I have so much already going on that I don't know how we're going to deal with this now too.
Milestones/Appointments - My next appointment is in a few weeks. I'm wondering if this will be when I start going to appointments every 2 weeks - I can't remember when that happens.
To Do List - Now I just need to go through all the baby stuff we've saved in the attic, wash things, and update the Amazon registry so we can get the discount on stuff we need.

Oh no txaggie08!! Thank goodness you or baby weren’t hurt, that is so scary. Do you get any money from other driver (sounds like they hit you?) or insurance to help offset cost of a new vehicle?

Thankfully she admitted fault and her insurance has already said they will be taking care of the costs. We have a rental right now until our car is looked at. I don't think it will be totalled, but it definitely needs some work. Hopefully it's not too long of a process.

That sucks txaggie08. Dealing with car accident after effects is the worst. I’m glad everyone is ok.

My friend had her baby yesterday afternoon. She was team green and it’s a boy! He was 9lb 12oz and 22in long. Such a big guy. I went up to the hospital this afternoon and snuggled him for a little while, can’t wait till it’s my turn in a few more months. Also, unrelated, my lips have suddenly been attacked by cold sores. I have one right in the center of my upper lip and a new one on the bottom corner. So annoying.

Weeks/Due Date - 26 weeks
The Good - Appointments are going well. Baby is right on track with weight. He finally cooperated with the fetal echo scan.
The Bad - All the extra appointments and scans are coming up. I’ll have growth scans, NST and level 2 ultrasounds. I’m always out of breathe.
Milestones/Appointments - Had a regular ob appointment to do. She applauded me on my progress with GD. Some days I feel like I’m failing miserably.
To Do List - Nothing...I can’t wait until spring break.

Weeks/Due Date - 28/ May 30
The Good -time is flying by! Only 12 weeks to go. Because of the names thread I started bugging H about other names and he came up with Sadie - I think I really love that name. But now one more to add to our list, which makes the decision harder haha! We decided to do newborn photos this time around and I just love our photographer, I can’t wait to get a few photos of our kids together. She’s also throwing in a newborn shot where she’ll come to the hospital right after babe is born and take some raw black and white photos. From the examples I’ve seen they are quite beautiful, capturing such a great moment!
The Bad - still freaked out about this cord insertion thing (have stopped worrying so much about it though!) but can’t wait for my next appt so that I can request another ultrasound to monitor growth.
Nausea is back... blah. This baby seems to be right on track with suggested milestones haha. I’ve hit 3rd tri and boom I’m starting to feel like crap! Like give me a bit of wiggle room please, maybe even a week!
Milestones/Appointments - March 24 (3 weeks from my last) then move to bi weekly.
To Do List - not much at the moment.

Weeks/Due Date - 33 weeks, c/s scheduled April 16
The Good - I had an u/s yesterday and that was fun to see the babies again. They are both measuring a hair under 4 lbs so I already have 8 lbs of baby in me!
The Bad - My body told me yesterday "I'm done", so today is my first day of modified bedrest -- basically no work. Womp womp. I am going to have to find things to keep busy at least once a day so that I don't get bored out of my mind. Also at the u/s apparently Baby A's head was measuring in the 4th percentile so he's considered "growth restricted". My doctor doesn't seem worried though because she said it could easily be shadows from the uterus or cervix. He's also been measuring just fine until now. It just means I have weekly u/s from now until delivery to monitor it.
Milestones/Appointments - weekly u/s and appointment next Thursday.
To Do List - Slowly organize the rest of the baby shit and put it where it needs to go. Get hospital bag ready, which I am really dragging on.

Weeks/Due Date - 27/ June 5
The Good - Almost to 3rd tri!
The Bad - I failed my one hour glucose test so I have to do the 3 hour. My last two days at work were brutal. I ended up working 13.5 hours one day and 14 the next. I was on my feet most of the time and had some massive cankles by the end kid the day. I’m glad I have 2 days off to recover.
Milestones/Appointments - I had an appointment today. Everything looks good.
To Do List -

Weeks/Due Date - 26+5/June 13
The Good - feeling a bit more organized/prepared. We got his dresser and I bought 1826166 little drawer organizers and had a fab time washing and putting away the clothes we have for him so far. I just love little tiny newborn clothes. I’m feeling ok for the most part. The heartburn seems better but I’m sure it’ll be back.
The Bad - still getting more tired. I’ve been napping pretty much every day after work the past few days. Which is great but also annoying.
Milestones/Appointments - almost third tri I guess? Or is that next week? I get confused lol.
To Do List - just waiting for the baby shower to see what else we’ll need. I guess I need to schedule a tour of the hospital. I’m sure there’s more on the list I need to do

I've had decreased movements the last 2 days. I'm trying to remember at what point to worry. I'm still feeling him move a bit which is reassuring, just not as frequently as he usually does. Also TMI I lost a big glob of mucus today as well so that's lovely..

I got an email from my boss that they are restricting visitors at work. Every single person will be screened when they enter the building and only 1 visitor (that is an immediate family member) is allowed per patient. I kind of feel like this is a little OTT.

Last night when I was at work I leaned against the counter and felt a sharp pain near my belly button. I was wearing a fleece zip up so I thought it was just the zipper pushing into my tummy but that was not the case. This morning I’m still having that pain off and on. I sent a message to my OB asking if I need to come in to be checked out and the response from her CNP was to come in if it persists or gets worse. Which doesn’t entirely help because how long does it have to persist for? I asked if it’s still happening on Monday if I should make an appt and the nurse basically said it’s up to me. That kind of response is super annoying.

My two older kids are now off for the next month. While DH and I are still supposed to be doing our jobs full time - and they’re busier than normal because of crazy financial markets. Should be interesting. Thank goodness daycare is still open for now, since no working from home could happen with my 2-year-old boy home.

Our school district is staying closed for another week (this week was spring break), but daycare is still open so far. DH and I both still have to work - if either of us can't go into work (even if our workplaces close) we have to use sick or vacation time. I'm trying to save every last bit of mine so I can use it this summer, so I hope my work schedule isn't too impacted.

txaggie08 we were already supposed to have a two-week spring break the first two weeks of April. The kids are signed up for camps through the YMCA for spring break - fingers crossed that they happen (or at least the second week?) but I’m not optimistic. We had debated sending DS2 to the YMCA preschool this year but decided to keep him at his in home daycare another year. That turned out to be a good decision since the YMCA preschool just closed today for the foreseeable future. It’s nice that our daycare provider is her own boss and can decide on her own whether or not to close.

So Thursday night (after posting about being uneasy with reduced movements) I lost a big chunk of mucus and then shortly after started having contractions. They were definitely real (not BH) and moderately painful, and after the first few they started following a timeable pattern. I watched the clock for about an hour and was making a plan to go to the hospital when they finally stopped. Since they stopped on their own I didn't go in (I have an ultrasound and NST at the MFAU on Monday as well, which factored into my decision). Baby has dropped quite a bit, it's actually noticeable in pictures (I'll post a side by side in HDBD), and putting some pressure on my pubic bone (sucks), but on the plus side he's been significantly more active again.
