Morning! I had a hairdressers appointment that was way overdue. They chopped off 10inch and it’s still really long 😱. Dh is doing demo at my sister’s new house. I just got paint for ds’s bed and some trimmings we still needed at the hardware store and I’m heading to ikea in a bit, truely a 21st century women  . |

Josie has tap this morning and then a new salad place opened nearby so I will stop and have lunch with her there. Then I will nag mh to hang the pictures in the kids’ rooms that I have been asking for every weekend since January. 🤷🏻♀️
I won’t do it myself bc I am not precise with the measuring tape and the level.

Morning ladies. We are hosting S’s bday party at our house at noon. I need to clean my kitchen, sweep and vacuum, and then get the garage prepped. High today is 66 so I’m planning for the party to mostly be outside. I got bubbles and chalk, plus the girls have a lot of toys that the kids can play on outside. It’s going to be pretty chill, which is exactly what I want.

Morning.
I didn’t sleep well. I started having some post nasal drip yesterday and it decided to turn into a full blown cold mid night. Despite taking meds, I woke up super stopped up. So I’m tired, but there is a spring farm event at the Ag museum that I want to take the kids to. Supposed to have some farm animals and different activities, so I think they will enjoy it. It’s supposed to be a beautiful day, too. Lots of time outside.
Hoping we can finish the yard work. I just don’t want to deal with snakes. 😩
ETA: scratch the lots of time outside. It’s only supposed to get up to 62. Partly cloudy. My ass will be inside after the museum event. Tomorrow will be 70, so yard work shall wait.

I’m waiting for target to open so I can get my grocery shopping done. I already swung by Costco and filled up with gas and swung by Home Depot to get a water hose and the kids workshop craft.
I think I’ll try and get some Easter basket shopping done since I’m kid free.
Normally I would be doing homework but C has to be in at work at 7am tomorrow so I will do homework during nap time because I rather shop without kids.
L and I will be baking this afternoon as well.

Morning. Chill morning so far here. Just finished updating the family budget with B, he loves helping me and is understanding how to allocate spending.
My Mom is coming over to hang with the kids and I’ll run errands. I also have a guy coming to take measurements for baseboards and window casings, hopefully get a quote this week then we’ll have all the quote. So far we’re staying on budget!

I’m annoyed that I’ve got to run to Costco on a weekend, it’s apparently been nuts with people buying out the toilet paper when I’m legit out and could not give two fucks about stocking up on 100+ rolls. I’m confused cause nothing about this virus would mean an INCREASE in tp usage. People are crazy.  |

Happy birthday to A! wineallthetimevino people are stocking up in case of quarantine. But like, we don’t go through that much tp in 2 weeks and if we ran out then I’d just order on amazon or for target drive up. Ftr I have done zero stocking up. |

Hi hi - worked this morning and then took the big kids to swim. Now k and I may go to Target, we need some groceries and I want to try making egg bites in the instapot. I have been eating the ones from Costco in the car and have been delish, but still not cheap.
We have a few cases in our county and it's only a matter of time before our schools shutdown. Work is already prepping as well and mh work is instituting half the office go to a different location starting Monday to try to avoid having everyone exposed if someone gets it. I just want to get everything clean and organized so if I am home for the foreseeable future we at least are organized. Also want to get some outdoor stuff so I can send the kids out back to play.

I raked out the flower beds while the kids played on the swing and in their cars. M & I are going grocery shopping while H naps and MH finishes up some yard work. Then we’re going to my in laws for dinner tonight.

Target was out of soap and sanitizer. Luckily they were restocking while I was there and I was able to get some soap. It’s crazy out here.

Hiiiii! Just got home from a 4th birthday party at a soccer gym. Chase had a ball but is refusing to tell DH who was there. Col went to his much-delayed winter carnival with DH, so everyone has had fun. I got some work done during Chase's nap and DH has watched baseball and football, so I guess there's been something for everyone, haha.
My company did a massive emergency test yesterday, reaching out via phone, text and email to make sure they can tell us to stay home. DH is already home anyway, and if needed, I have sick time I could use if everyone got stuck home. I'm a bit concerned about flying to FL twice in the next month, more for my Dad's health than anything. I will have to plan on changing as soon as I get off the plane so I don't bring germs his way.

I’m exhausted. I didn’t do a lot during the actual party but running around and cleaning up beforehand was a lot. The kids had a ton of fun playing outside. The sun was nice and warm but it’s been windy which made it feel colder than it actually is. I’m not planning to get off my butt for the rest of the night.

Hi! I had a beefsteak last night. Today I spent all morning prepping for my friend’s shower that is tomorrow and then this afternoon I had to take DD to the mall for something to wear. From birth through 1st grade, she only wore dresses and now she doesn’t even own one. She hated everything and I had to tell her to pick or I was taking her home and going back alone and she would have to wear whatever I picked.
