Morning. Lots of diy again today... painting and such. Because we don’t have the time to pull trough, it’ll be 2-3 weeks before everything is done, but that’s okay . Birthday party and picking up a small desk/chair set for ds are on the agenda for this afternoon.

Morning! I hate daylight savings. It throws the kids off every time ( I know preaching to the choir). We are meeting up with cagoldi in a few hours to hang out at the park. Then hopefully both kids take a good nap so I can do some homework and get more laundry done. Then L and I are baking and making egg salad for his and E’s lunch tomorrow.

Morning friends.
It’s 8.30am and everyone is still sleeping, I’ve even had a cup of coffee already. My Mom came and hung out with the kids yesterday and ended up staying the night cause with the snowfall the roads weren’t great and the kids loves when she sleeps over. It was nice to catch up.
I ran all my errands yesterday so it’s cleaning, laundry and food prep today.

Morning. Mh is finally stirring and j is helping n with her koala crate while k naps on me. He's basically been useless so I hope he goes to urgent care for abx since it sounds like bronchitis. No plans today, hoping to get some exercise and try making egg bites in the instapot.
Am I wrong to love daylight savings in the spring? I am all about it not being dark when we get home. We prob will just skip naps to help them go to bed.

Josie woke up yelling that her stomach hurt, made it into our room and then threw up on her way to our bathroom. Most of it made it in the toilet. She drank a glass of water and a tiny bit of Gatorade and kept it down for a couple of hours so I thought we were in the clear, but I ran some errands and as soon as I came back she threw up again. She’s on another glass of water (and still no food). I guess she’s staying home tomorrow.

Morning. I got a text at 7 asking if I could go in and help at work today. Since I’m off tomorrow, I went in. I get paid extra on the weekends, so it was it’s worth it. I left just before noon and headed to do a few errands before going home. It’s beautiful out and we need to finish clearing out the flowerbeds today. There is a high chance of rain for the next 7 days. I’m so over the rain.
M’s spring break is this week, so it’s nice that he has this week to help adjust him to the time change before heading back to school.

@lahdeehdah I feel you with the rain, we had a very mild winter, but it almost rained for 3/4 months straight. I don’t drive. I’ve been soaked so.many.times.

Y’all. I just sliced my finger open again. The same one. WTF?
At least I had liquid sealant and a butterfly bandage on hand this time.

I’m laughing at all these yard clean up posts when I’m about 4-5 weeks away from that by the looks of it.
But look at all the adorable rabbit hopping prints in the snow. My fence is stuck open so they come Poof

My fence is stuck open so they come and go as they please now. I just want to stand on the stairs and jump in the snow! And then run back inside really fast for hot coffee and cake 😉.

Oh there’s so many layers nam2013 that’d it hurt if you jumped into it, but yes there is nothing like fresh powder, especially for skiing. And it’s only -9C today with the sun shining so bright. It’s beautiful out.

Certified spring ahead hater here. Today wasn't so bad - I ran at nap so I could "sleep in" until 7 - but I will be HATING life at 5am tomorrow.
I also finally gave in and tried some filler for my cheeks/nasal folds and despite not bruising, my face has hurt and I've had a bit of a headache, which is only making me more tired. She only did half a syringe to start - apparently there's ONE benefit to having a tiny head - and I can see an improvement but will be going back when I come back from FL. It's not terrible but it's not as easy or quick as Botox, so I'm glad it's a once a year kind of thing.
It was sunny and in the 50s today so I took the boys out for awhile today. They had really been looking forward to playing in the snow this winter and... What winter? At least we're headed back to VT next weekend for one more ski weekend.

I was busy all day. I slept later than I planned to so I had to get ready quickly and then run to Walmart so I didn’t miss my drive up order pick up window. Came back home to prep food, sat for like 5 minutes and then headed to my friend’s house to get everything ready for the baby shower. Everything went great and the food seemed to be a hit. I was surprised that she didn’t get a single package of diapers as a gift. Lots of clothes, of course. Then when everyone left we cleaned up and I ended up hanging at my other friend’s house for 2.5 hours just taking. Now I’m relaxing on the couch and will be going to bed soon. I’m tired. guster I hope J is feeling better quickly. vino last year at this time we were still buried under snow. This has been the warmest March on record in like 50 years or something (I don’t listen very well when they are talking about it on the news). Because of how warm this past week was most of the snow in my yard melted. But I guarantee we get snow at least one more time before May.
