I really think a rule needs to be enforced here at my office that bras are a required garment. I don't feel like it is part of the optional garments that come under the "business casual" title. Smokey the Secretary is just letting it all loose under there and it is a bit too obvious. She had clients come in for a closing today!! I feel like it's inappropriate to just have your girls dangling in the office setting.

I order a kit that had some cute hair things and it said it came with 1 but I got a bunch. Haven’t used it yet.

Morning!
Next get together, I volunteer as tribute to teach all the ladies how to French braid your girls hair. Of course the one who doesn’t have girls knows how. Lol.
I grew up watching my aunt, cousins, and sister doing it and taught myself how to do it on my own hair. I usually will put one in my hair when it gets close to a wash so I can hide the greasy, limp hair in a style that’s not a bun- messy or otherwise. Lol.

klong11 That's weird, yes, any grown woman should wear a bra in the workplace. Home, let them free, but the workplace, no. chrisy01 Do those actually work? I've seen them on FB and wondered.

Start waiting for them right outside of the bathroom and immediately spray them with Lysol if you didn't hear the sink water.

Hi friends! The days have just been going too quickly and I’ve been reading at night and then passing out. I hope everyone is doing well! I can French braid and fishtail. I can sort of do the inverted ones (they have a name and I forget what they’re called now) but those are messier than a traditional braid when i do them. Today I did the topsy-tail trick on Josie’s hair. Does anyone remember that tool? I don’t use it, but I separate above the hair tie and loop her ponytail through twice.

I’ve made it a mission to start doing more with N’s hair. 99% of the time it’s in some sort of braid otherwise it gets so tangly since it’s fine. I’ve started a Pinterest board with girl hairstyles and let her choose on days we have time. I wish she could wear her hair down more since she had the prettiest hair, but it’s just get so messy. Here’s what I did today for something different- still super simple but not something I would normally think to do.

I did a double one in my hair today because it was easier than French braiding cuz I need a wash. Like - I did the top half first, then did another one with all my hair right under it and loosened them up so it has a little volume to it. ETA: I did not use a tool.

My mom really didn’t do anything for my hair. Now I’m not comfortable doing my own but I’m trying to learn for E.

Cute slenle, love it. I do J's hair during the week generally in three connecting pony tails down the back of her head, since she naps at daycare it's always a disaster by the time she comes home. I'll try some cooler ones when she is in the pre k room since there arent any naps. As some of you may know from my snap chat story, she doesnt allow me to brush her hair on the weekend home days and rocks the bed head look, it's adorable.

Evie pins stuff all the time she wants me to do to her hair.
I have to remind her that I do not have the ability to do 99.9% of the pins.

Or I'm out and about with a coat on and know I won't need to take it off.

slenle, that's adorable! I need to remember this for Lue. Hers is pretty fine. MIL french braids it and it's really cute.

I like to braid S’s hair when it’s wet and then I can get it tighter and I usually can get a 2nd day out of it! This is my favorite way to braid it...starting from the back and working forward. A hairdresser did that on her once and it was cute so I started doing it that way sometimes too.

lfig, so you only pull from the left, not the right? does that make sense? Like a french braid pulls from both sides

Any tips for keeping an active boys hair in place all day? I’ve tried so many gels and am now doing pomades. The current one (one of the few that doesn’t smell like a 20yo trying to get laid) holds longer than the gels but still becomes a mess. Basically I want it to stay like this but it doesn’t hold and then looks like the second pic. He just had a haircut so it is about the length in the second pic right now but it’s the same general idea.
