I’m feeling okay about my chances with this one, so I’m tentatively due 11/8.
Anyone else out there to commiserate with the level of sheer exhaustion I’m feeling (yet my inability to sleep a solid night!)

i think i go here now. i have had squinters the last few days and line is finally a bit darker today. due date is 11/15. yes with the exhaustion already. my sleep was crap before this though. i feel like it’s too early for symptoms but i have been dragging and have had some nausea if i don’t eat regularly. how are you doing besides the exhaustion katespade?

I’m okay. Trying to keep positive, which isn’t easy, but I’m still using cheapie tests to make myself feel better about waiting until 3/20 for my ultrasound. I’ve had some minor cramping here and there and my boobs are getting more sore as the days progress, but otherwise the exhaustion is really the worst of it (and then I cannot get comfy at night to fall asleep!). I’m also out of breath easily, which was my first sign of pregnancy with DD. If I can get past today with no spotting, it will be the farthest I’ve made it since DD.

I am seeing an RE- I go in to them on the 20th. They basically said they were very happy with my 16DPO beta and they were comfortable waiting until then to see me again. My DD turns 4 this month! It’s crazy how fast it’s gone by.

I’m horrifyingly nauseated. It keeps getting worse every day. With DD, I was sort of nauseous starting around 5w3d, but it didn’t get this bad until like 7w4d and then at 8w I couldn’t keep anything down. This started on Thursday/Friday (so 5w4d-ish) and I barely got up yesterday. I feel bad for DD because she just wants me to play with her and I’m struggling. I go in Friday for my scan. I’m going to ask them if they can give me anything, since it was so bad with DD I needed zofran to survive until 17w.

Hi. I go here now. EDD 11/24 based on LMP. But 11/28 based on ovulation. I’m supposed to call my doctor and be seen for bloodwork due to my loss history but I’m really avoiding it for some reason. I am not really wanting to go in with everything going on so thinking I might call and just skip the bloodwork? I don’t know what to do.

I don’t blame you at all, and you might find that the OB or RE (I can’t remember if you’re seeing the RE) pushes it off because of everything anyway. Also, CONGRATS! I tried to move my scan up to go in sooner but they couldn’t get me an appointment earlier than Friday morning. If I wasn’t paranoid about having another ectopic, I’d be pushing the scan back.

Thank you! I sent them a message to tell them I want to wait and see if they’ll just schedule a scan when I’m 7 weeks. I should hear back by the end of the week.

Fearsy congrats! i totally understand your hesitation with everything that is happening. i am also curious to see how all of this affects appointments in the next few months. it’s making me anxious and i haven’t really done any reading on how they are handling pregnancies with covid. i’m sure it would fall under a vulnerable condition though? i was having some hesitation on continuing to take zoloft, but i think my mental health would really suffer without it especially now. when i started taking it, i did discuss ttc with my primary care dr and she reassured me it was considered safe until near the end of pregnancy at which time i would have to wean off. does anyone else have experience with this?

polson I weaned off of a different medication (Paxil) before we TTC DD. I don’t know if Zoloft is known for the brain zaps, but I definitely felt a little bit off as my body adjusted. I followed a strict protocol for weaning. Does your OB have a patient portal where you can send emails? The REs office has been great with responding quickly to any emails I send through their portal. I actually need to send one this morning because my work is still open (I work at a tutoring center) and I’m on the fence about whether I should bail.

Thanks polson! I have a message out to my midwife and waiting for a response. I’m also really curious how they’re going to handle prenatal appointments. I really really need my husband to be at the first ultrasound with me. I need that support due to my loss history and a traumatic first ultrasound with my first pregnancy. But right now I can’t imagine how he’d be able to come. Someone has to be home to keep our kids and I don’t want anyone coming into our house with everything going on. Ugh this is tough. But in other news my line is even darker this morning so I’m very hopeful!

katespade i hope everything goes well today - keep us posted! Fearsy ugh i didn’t even think about someone not being able to come to the ultrasound. hopefully that won’t be the case but i guess i wouldn’t be surprised. yay for darker lines though. i think my symptoms have been picking up. the last few mornings i’ve woken up feeling like i have gut rot. at least i can still stomach my coffee. i also just couldn’t sleep last night - we finally close on our old house today and i just can’t wait to be done with it. i have been worrying that somehow the sale would fall through and we’d be stuck with 2 mortgages for the foreseeable future.

I had a GREAT appointment this morning!!
Baby is right on schedule, heartbeat was measured at 133. I’m so, so happy.
Oddly enough, this one came from my left ovary. My ectopic and MCs all originated form my right ovary, so maybe there really was just something wrong with those eggs.
