Interesting. That is a huge decision! There is a girl a few doors down from us that goes to the GAT school. Her brother is at the regular elementary. Could you do the testing and then give Maddie the choice if she ends up qualifying? Obviously if you and YH are ok with either choice. 

Yes. I filled out the app this week and MH dropped it off yesterday. She's scheduled to test in 2 weeks. I'm not sure how soon after the test results come back that we have to decide for next year but I'd request an open house-type visit at the Smarty school. It'd be nice to actually see what we'd be getting into and for Maddie to see it as well.

Curious to hear what you all think about the school! I know when my sisters and I applied for private school (sophmore, 8th grade and me 7th grade) my parents let us have the choice when we got in to go or continue in public. Obviously we were a bit older though. 

ETA: ok that's a totally different scenario and now I don't even know why I even put it out there haha. Just rambling away over here!

@innthekitty, that’s a tough decision, but it does sound like M would be fine either way. I think I would talk to her current school to see what they would be doing to enhance the curriculum for her if she chooses to stay where she currently is.
ETA: I see her principal said there would be a program at her current t school. I’d get the details to compare.

I'm here today. I haven't been in a great place so I took a step back. Just feeling overwhelmed and under appreciated. We're having some behavioral issues with the boys and Mallory is as clingy as can be when I'm in her sight. I'm getting that touched out anxiety and just trying to survive nursing session by session. Alex is working on the attic every moment he's not asleep or working so the hands on help from him has been next to 0. It's for a good reason but I had to tell him to slow his pace and help me more.

We also have decided that we are 100% done. So I told him to get started on the process to get a vasectomy. Thinking it would take him months to actually follow through. I told him sunday. His consult is tomorrow..... so my emotions about that are all over the place. I know it's the right decision but. Ugh. No more babies. Makes me teary every time I think about it.

Morning. It’s a much better day here at work. I sent a text to the cleaning lady, so just waiting to hear back from her. If she doesn’t work out, my other coworker uses a different lady, so I’ll try her.

I think I’m going to a furniture store to browse after work. They are having a sale and I want to see if there is anything I can buy now. We need a new bed in our master, and I want a new sofa, but I think that will wait a bit.

Hey. I spent the morning picking up the future baby’s room (which has kind of become a play room/toy storage at the moment) and the basement family room area. I let the basement be messy because it’s still half finished and I don’t care that much, but the girls have made it such a mess you can hardly walk through. I don’t want to step on lol or Barbie shoes in the dark so S and I cleaned and organized somewhat. I need to get some baskets or something for you storage. Not the top of my priority list right now. I’m relaxing for a little bit, then will make lunch. After lunch I’m going to work on switching out S’s clothes from 3T to 4T, her shirts are starting to get short. Although I’d rather take a nap (and might try to fit that in too).

I recommend DollarTree for bins, I buy about $30 worth at a time. Which some come 4 to a pack so it's a lot lol. Especially when it's toys and they get switched out so often. I keep a stash of them and carry it around with me when I'm purging and organizing. As I've been helping my MIL organize I take them and it's so helpful to have a storage solution right then rather than hope you remember to get one the next time you're out.

Part of our reno is doing the baseboards and window casings, I'm looking at the flat style for baseboards, but do I do the same width and style for the windows?  It seems like it would be too wide for the windows?

I'm confused...I have a bad attitude, but you want to spend more time with me? Um, no, 100% complete professionalism in the workplace, no time together outside. This is stupid.

Pretty vino! Those look like what, 5-6” baseboards? If so, I agree with @peach, think I would scale the width down just a bit for door/window trim. My parents have similar woodwork at their vacation house and that is what they did, too.
