tgrimes, I was sick for pretty much all of January, and my ears are STILL popping. MH yesterday was like "my throat feels a little off". Umm ok dude. Also, glad H is happy, he's such a resilient little dude

Morning! Had speech first thing, B should be finishing up in a month!! Actual footage of my reaction below.  Not much on my agenda today, I need to order C a couple things for our FL trip. Tonight DH is flying and B has basketball practice so I promised the kids CFA afterwards. We’re expecting snow here this weekend...seriously we made it 2 winters without snow and now it’s going to come the last wknd of Feb?! VA isn’t letting me go without a fight. |

I’m at work. It’s not too busy today. They bought snacks and lunch to celebrate the Feb birthdays so I’ve been nibbling all morning. Nothing much else going on.

OMG y'all. I accidentally copied a client on an email that said they were not the most delightful people to work with. I realized what I did as soon as I sent it and tried to recall it but it was too late. Their boss called me and I apologized profusely but he was having a hard time understanding me, obviously. I had my attorney call him and he apologized as well. But I had to email my head boss and let him know what I did. He's at MD Anderson with his wife today and really doesn't need this added stress. But he'd be pissed if he found out about it and I hadn't told him.
Fuck, today is not my day. I need a drink.

Morning friends! B had a homework assignment he had to work on last night, assigned from the IB unit, discussing a family tradition and he chose the ALS Walk, cure tears. We brainstormed what he wanted to say on a practice sheet along with a drawing then he wants some pictures of the years we've attended. He wrote out everything yesterday and did such a great job, without getting frustrated and crying, and he says he'll draw the pictures tomorrow. I'm so proud of him. Then i was making his lunch and I asked him what he wanted to have and he said, 'Mom whatever is easier for you to make for me'. I mean, come on. I'm no rookie though; I fully expect a couple tantrums today and for him to ask for a trip to the moon to make up for being easy yesterday |

We’ve been planning a surprise trip to a zoo in Antwerpen for about 6weeks now, it is the first zoo that ever had an okapi and the conservation headquarters are there, so ds really wanted to go. So if course last night he woke up with a fever... We were really looking forward to this, and I really needed a day away from everything, so when this morning it was down to nothing, we decided to go. His face when we told him was priceless, he was in complete disbelief, so cute. He had a good day, but he was miserable during the over two hours train journey back. I just took his temp, it was a 103, poor thing. I feel a little guilty that we took him...
