Morning. No school today or tomorrow. The girls have spent the morning making a mess out of my house but that’s fine. I cleaned off the kitchen island of clutter and swept. Now I’m sitting. I’m watching a friend’s kids while she goes to her OB appt, they should be here any minute.

I think it involved max strength desitin, hydrocortisone cream, and the jock itch cream- Lotromin maybe? I think I just mixed equal parts.

He's been struggling with exhaustion, apparently so badly that there wass some concern over whether he'd finish the course. He has one more rest week then his last round of chemo (for now), so he should be getting re-scanned within the next few weeks. FX this is helping.

Diaper rash cream
Mix equal amount lotrimin (or nystatin) with max strength desitin (or some other equivalent) with 1% hydrocortisone. Apply at each diaper change.

Hi from the road. We took the boys up to VT for a long weekend and it was really fun. Lots of skiing and time with DH's aunts and their families - all the boys had a blast together. Col is officially faster than me on skis, though he's still basically power plowing down the mountain. DH or his Aunt would ski in front and Col would follow their turns; I skiied in back in case Col needed to be scooped up. The kid has no fear and we took him on some decently steep terrain. We took turns with Chase on the bunny hill and he made a decent amount of progress for a kid who generally doesn't take direction. It was so fun and we're headed back up in another 4 weeks or so.

On the not so fun side, Chase came down with a stomach bug and we're hoping to make it home without an episode. He slept a good 2 hours in the car, which is good since I have no idea how long he was awake before I found him around 6 this morning, covered in sick. He had insisted on skiing yesterday after losing his breakfast and he stayed up too late every night, so the poor kid is exhausted.

Hi girls!

I’m much better. My wound is healing pretty well. I go back to wound care Friday morning, so we’ll see what they think at that time. I’m still trying to catch up on everything that went off course when I was in the hospital.

The bowling alley was swamped and we were going to have to wait for lanes, so we called an audible and went to lunch at a waterfront place and ate on the enclosed deck. It’s sunny out today so it was perfect. A little day-drinking + fish tacos = perfection. Thank you, Abe and George.

I'm home with the kids and we are going stir crazy! Still can't go anywhere cause HFM. We spent time outside but it's cold. Wishing I'd taken more advantage of MH home this weekend and gotten the kids out more!

wineallthetime HFM was the worst b/c of the quarantine. It was just B when he got it and I was going nuts...cannot imagine adding 2 more to the mix. I'm sorry...hope it's over soon!

Sounds like a fun weekend joelies, hope poor C is on the upswing. So much yuck going around. Prayers for your dad, hopefully the scans will reveal some good progress.

I have done tulo which I kind of liked but mh didn't, then a Costco stearns and Foster that got dents pretty quick, and now we have some hybrid from Costco that I'm liking now that I've adjusted but mh isn't sure. It was pretty cheap, I can look it up if interested. Figured I'd try this but then I wanted the leesa hybrid, but this was $1k less.

And we made it home, one nasty bathroom trip but no more throwing up. I'm taking it as a win at this point!!

We ventured to the zoo today and barely got a parking spot. K did great in the carrier and we had a nice time. I am in the car with a triple nap and mh delivered leftover Chipotle to me for a late lunch. This is maybe the peak of my weekend, it's sunny and quiet. Guess I shall rouse them soon though to prep for the week, it's going to be a doozy at work.

Ffc: I don't like the new glasses Cadence picked. I don't dare say anything, but I think they are ugly. Pink rims with blueish/purple arms. Idk. She likes them, so I guess that's all that matters.

It was way better than bowling, for sure (sorry, kids). Only problem with day-drinking is that I am worthless the rest of the afternoon. Oh well, we only celebrate the presidents' birthdays once a year!
