What’s going on? Yesterday was pretty low key, we got a heart shaped pizza and hung out at home. I’m at work until 2, and it’s my last weekend training the new girl thank goodness. I’m ready to have solo time again. DH is ditching us after I get home to go to a golf simulator place for a tournament with his friend. Not sure what the girls and I will do.

PSA: Columbia is having a big sale right now so if you are in need of winter gear, right now is a great time to buy.

No special Valentine's day stuff here, since DH is offshore. He did leave me a really sweet home made card and some chocolates before he left though. Working today and tomorrow, as usual. We had a showing on the house this afternoon (literally just ended) so I'm anxiously awaiting hearing from our agent. Please please please let these people make an offer. We just dropped our price so I'm praying that did the trick. It's such a buyer's market right now.

DD1 turns 7 next week so we are having her party today. I’ve been cleaning and prepping the last 2 days.

My parents took DS last night overnight so hubby and I went out for supper. It was great! Today is pretty low key for me, as DH is taking DS and my dad out for my dad's bday. Not sure yet what i'll do with my free time. Maybe some cleaning/organizing, shopping or catch up on work. In reality I might just watch a movie or something and relax - i'm feeling super nauseous today which sucks, I hate this feeling.

We sold our house last summer (in a really slow buyer's market) and it was painful. I feel for you having to deal with showings and cleaning always while pregnant. I remember when DS asked me "Mommy can I make a mess today?" ugh it made me sad to realize he was impacted by it as well. Thank god it didn't last forever and yours won't either! How long have you had it listed?

How long have you had it listed? it's only been lister a few months (November) but we're on a time crunch. we have an accepted offer on a house, conditional on the sale of ours, that we've already had to extend once and will have to ask again after this weekend. We need a bigger vehicle for the new baby, but can't get a new loan/lease until after the house or it will mess up our debt ratio for the mortgage approval. Not to mention just wanting to be in before the baby comes! Our current mortgage is up for renewal at the end of March also, so if we sell now we won't have a penalty, but if it takes another month or more we'll end up having to sign a new term and then pay a penalty when we end up breaking it. It's all such a pain in the butt. Plus the fact that 99% of the viewings we've had have been while DH is offshore so it's all been on me (while sick and pregnant) to make sure it's clean, with 2 kids and 2 cats in the house. Ugh. I'm a tad frustrated if you can't tell lol.

An old high school friend and his wife now live in Boise and are in town for the weekend, so DH and I had a fun dinner out with them Thursday night. I tried to not talk about kids or pregnancy too much because his wife is my age and they’re just starting IVF. I really hope it works out for them. The kids celebrated Valentine’s Day Thursday and DD’s taco valentines box she made was a hit. They came home with lots of candy and little junk. The kids were off yesterday and then we’re all off Monday. I had to work yesterday morning so the older kids went to a YMCA one day camp. After I dropped them off I dropped my 2-year-old at gym childcare and worked out and then did one work call that I had to really participate in. Then we went home and I mostly just listened in on another call while I played with him. It’s always stressful to try to work with a toddler around. Then DH took DS1 to tball in the afternoon. This morning was 2-year-old soccer class, playground, and the Y again - we practically live there No big plans for the rest of the weekend! We’re members of the children’s museum and haven’t been in awhile so will probably go there Monday. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

danib that is horrible!! I get it, it sucks and you are allowed to annoyed/frustrated! I was feeling like you and I wasn’t pregnant and I didn’t have to do it all (my H would come home on his lunch break to vacuum and clean) so you definitely have my sympathies! It’s the worst putting in so much effort cleaning and making it less ok good just to have the people coming to look be not interested. It’s so dejecting. I got to the point every time we had a showing I just wanted to say why bother you won’t like it. Haha! But you just keep going because you never know which one could be the one who puts in an offer. I hope for your sake (and sanity) you get an awesome offer soon! Especially if you just dropped the price you’ll get new interest from other buyers that may have been priced out of your previous asking price. 🤞

Thanks aries. We haven't had any negative feedback at all, aside from when we first listed it we were told that other similar houses were cheaper. So we dropped the price then and have again now. Which is good, but also bad because if there's nothing "wrong" then there's nothing for me to fix to make the next person like it. Ya know?

I hope you get an offer soon danib! I’ve never sold a house but it sounds stressful.

Morning. I’m at work and training again. It’s probably going to be a long 8 hour shift. I’m already ready for a nap.

Work here as well. The boys are with the ILs for the weekend, and since C had no school tomorrow they are staying an extra night. I have supper with my family this evening for my sister's birthday, but after that I'll have the house to myself for bed and tomorrow morning. Fx I can actually sleep in for a change.

Hey all. Nothing too exciting this weekend. H was out of town til this morning, so stayed kinda low key with the kids. Tomorrow is a holiday, so we’ll find something to keep us busy. My new favorite thing is my 3 yo feeling my belly and constantly saying, “ he kicked me!”, with a giddy giggle. Even when there is no kick. She is so gentle and I’m really excited to see her with the actual baby. And she’s finally saying now that it’s a brother and not a sister.

I have a feeling it’s going to be a couple weeks yet before they can though.

danib Ugh yes that’s the worst!! If nothing is wrong then how could I make it better? That comment drove me nuts too. Any word on the showing this weekend?!

According to their relator, the viewing was really good, but they saw another really good one as well, and he's under the impression they are leaning toward the other one.

Ugh that sucks. But if yours was also really good you may still have a chance (or at least these people will buy that house and then you won’t have as much competition next time).
