So I think it's about time I get serious about joining back up over here. TW for LC mentioned My history is in my siggy but the gist is a PCOS diagnosis. We had succes with clomid and TI. We're now ready to TFAS. We've been NTNP for a few months. The plus side to my PCOS before was that the cycles were just so ridiculously long we knew I wasn't ovulating. Currently though I'm not sure. My last few cycles have been 37, 36, 42, 43. And weirdly enough each time I got those cycles was after we had sex (not like I tore blood it turns into full 4+ day cycles). I feel like these cycles are just anovulating cycles and the sex is making my uterus decide to shed? I know I sound crazy and like a total noob. Do I bother trying to check for ovulation? OPKs and temping didn't work previously so (insert shrugs here). Our REs office had a lot of weird protocols and I found out the doctor that I liked has left so I would not be returning there and need to go to a new RE. that's part of why I'm trying to figure this out on my own before I go through the whole shebang again. If you followed along with all this you're awesome! Thank you for listening:)

Welcome! I don't know much about the specific protocols for PCOS, but I would guess that since you used an RE last time you'd be ok to just start with an RE again, rather than trying to wait a certain amount of time. I hope you're able to find a new office that you like, that's too bad that the doctor you liked has left. You can probably get your records transferred to a new office though, to at least streamline the process somewhat.
