And apparently our Keurig died at some point today. My SMIL sent me a text asking if it worked this morning, which it did. I told her it might need coffee. She said that didn't help. So I guess I will be stopping at Target on my way home to grab a new one because I can't survive without coffee.

We don't do anything for valentines day. C got a card last week for DH but gave it to him right away. It was not a card to give to your dad and it said something to the effect of you are sexy inside. C picked it for the art on the front and when I read it he died laughing and said we had to get it. DH's reaction was pretty funny.
I'm going to grab something small for C but I also booked him a snowboarding lesson for Saturday so I'll count that as his gift even though we would have done it anyway. It will be his first time so we are doing the lesson at the start of the day and then DH will work with him for the afternoon. I've decided I don't like being cold or in high places so I am going to read a book in the lodge and then we are going tubing. Should be fun.

My nephew tested positive for flu and RSV. They think it’s near the end of both though so he went home. I have scrambled and arranged alternate care for my kids for 3 times in the next 24 hours. Heading to the accountant, fx I don’t owe money. That’s rough. He must have felt awful. Poor kid. I’m sorry it’s been a tough week for you all. |

Wow kim22 that's a lot. Hope he feels better soon. mwhip RIP Keurig. Some of the new ones look pretty cool--I'm intrigued by the one that is both individual dispenser and drip coffee/carafe, b/c I like being able to make a pot for big groups but don't want 2 separate machines. My current Keurig is 8-9 years old, so I'm probably jinxing it by looking at other ones. It still works great though, so I can't justify a new one! |

So I don't know if it's user error, which they have one, or if it's on it's last breath. We've only had this one for 1 1/2 years maybe? Our previous one lasted much longer. I guess I'll take the chance and stop at Starbucks in the morning, if it is really dead. I don't need one with both, but I do want one that holds more water than the one we currently have. On weekends, when we both drink 2 cups of coffee a day, we have to fill it at least once, which is annoying. |

We do a little bit for Valentines over here. I picked up some art and building toys for the kids, and of course a little candy. I got mh a new hot sauce, some spicy chips and a couple of bars of really dark chocolate. He usually floats through our Amazon cart and picks out a few of the smaller things that I put in throughout the year so I could look but I do like being surprised.
Last year we ordered heart-shaped pizza from our local place. They do a really good beet and goat cheese salad and a super flavorful fried calamari, so I might add those in to make it a little more fun.

J is home sick today and mh took the day off bc I had to lead a meeting. He went to the doc and no flu and is feeling better, so hoping he's back to school tomorrow. This lady on my call, oof, we butt heads. I swear she was gaslighting me at the end of it and I'm like I did exactly what we told you we were going to do....so🤷.
I picked up Valentine's for the kids from tjs and some gf cupcakes with pink frosting. Otherwise I think that's it? I'll put them in red /pink. My sis asked if I was doing anything for v day, and I'm like with mh?🤔😂 Nothing more than a card!

They do have a good warranty, so if you decide you aren't going to use something or don't like it, do not hesitate to return it. That mop is stupid expensive, but I love it. I got mine with credits, then ended up getting another one from someone I'm under, for free. |

I know immunology has been talking to infectious disease but my ENT isn't a part of the children's hospital, which is why they haven't consulted him, I suppose. |

Thanks all! I am going to wait to talk names for a while. kim22 such a headache for all of you. I hope things all get worked out and your nephew is better soon. DH and I don’t do anything for v-day. I got the girls each a little box of chocolates and that’s all they will be getting from me. I like getting a heart shaped pizza but DH didn’t like the one we got last year, which I think was from papa Murphy’s so if we do it again I’ll have to try somewhere else. |

L is at the grandparents house and A is so tired. Thinking soon I'll dose him with Tylenol and put him to bed. Then I plan on a glass of wine and the new To All The Boys I Loved Before movie while I pray A sleeps well and MH deals with C's bedtime.

Re: Valentine’s, I decorated the kids doors. We’re having g a crafting and treat play date as we speak. I make them strawberry pancakes for breakfast and let them open their small boxes of chocolates. Heart shaped pizza always.
I’m still going out of town Friday, and Tim is taking me to see Silversin Pickups as our Valentine’s celebration.

Well it appears that HFM has come for us. I mentioned that my niece was over Sat and came down with an awful case of it Sunday. I just got word he's got the fever, rash, ect. Joy. Oh no! FX none of the kids get it. That celebration for your parents sounds awesome! |

Hi girls, desperately trying to stay afloat.
They discharged me late Monday night. I’m going to need ongoing wound care. The universe is trying to find my limit, so of course my PC died this morning, and I somehow hurt my ankle.
X has another sinus infection by the looks of it.
Still not sure what to make of the situation with Pipsqueak, so we have a mobile vet coming out to see him tomorrow. Sorry I’m not caught up with the last couple days.

So, I think they're helpful. It (usually) eliminates the need for oral antibiotics and i can just treat them with the ear drops. I just hope the hole in his right ear stays there for awhile. Last year it was still there 6 months later when we did tubes again. FX! |
