To Do List - nothing really baby related.
Share your favorite healthy snack - I don’t really snack all that much and when I do it’s not healthy, lol.

Weeks/Due Date - 23+2 / June 6
The Good - I've been doing better this last week with staying active. Did yoga a few days plus shoveling and stuff. I'm actually sleeping better this week as well and really think the two are correlated.
The Bad - I still have random vomiting roughly one day a week. I've come to accept that this is probably going to continue at this point. Had my OB appointment Thursday, I gained 7lbs in 4 weeks. So really trying to slow that down to the recommended 1lb a week.
Milestones/Appointments - next ultrasound (echo) tomorrow
To Do List - all I have left to buy is a carseat, diapers, and a few bottles for when someone else feeds baby (which reminds me I may need new pump parts too), but I'm not buying anything else until we sell this house.
Share your favorite healthy snack - on DS1 I was all about the apples and peanut butter. But that's not appealing this time around and I just keep shoving chocolate in my face. Hoping for some ideas lol.

Weeks/Due Date - 20w 2d/ June 27th
The Good - I can’t believe I made it this far! I’m shocked and excited and still nervous. But my gosh! I made it to 20 weeks.
The Bad - Still losing, still can’t eat, still randomly puking. The doctor called in two meds for me to try. I haven’t picked them up yet. The pain is to the point of my stomach being tender when she pushes on it so there is some concern it may be an ulcer.
Milestones/Appointments - halfway! Whoo. Next appointment isn’t for a month.
To Do List - paint baby room, buy all the baby things
Share your favorite healthy snack - currently fruit. I’m really liking fruit. It’s not fancy but it hits the spot.

Weeks/Due Date - 23+3, June 5th
The Good - I’m trying to enjoy this time where I’m not sick, feeling movement and not soo big that I’m uncomfortable.
The Bad - I’ve started getting some heartburn which is no fun. I’ve also been having terrible nightmares.
Milestones/Appointments - Almost to viability! Next appointment is 2/21.
To Do List - Find all my newborn gender neutral stuff and nursing bras/tanks in the attic, get DD1 in to her new room, move DS in with DD2, paint DS’s current room which will become the nursery. We really need to start working on this list!
Share your favorite healthy snack - I’m all about bananas with peanut butter or apples with peanut butter now.

Weeks/due date - 23 weeks tomorrow/June 9
Symptoms - not much. Workdays I usually don’t overdo it, but on weekends I have a lot of energy during the day and feel normal, so i end up picking up kids and not sitting down all day, and then my back kills me at night and I fall asleep on the couch at 9 pm.
The good - feeling good, near constant movement now, excited that my echo and US in the last week went well
The bad - just my back at night on weekends - so not much. Oh and a little trouble sleeping/falling back asleep.
Appts - I have my next OB appt and the glucose test in 2.5 weeks
Healthy snacks - add me to the list of liking apples with peanut butter (or cheese if I’m feeling less healthy). I also like red pepper/cucumbers/tomato with hummus or yogurt dip, and nuts/trail mix.

sdlaura I've been doing some nightime prenatal yoga and it's really helping my back. I can feel a difference when I go too long without doing it (and my sleep goes to shit because I'm waking up in pain). If you're interested in trying some, I really like Sara Beth Prenatal Yoga on YouTube. She has a bunch of videos. The bedtime routine is only 20 minutes long and mainly just gentle stretching (nothing complicated or advanced).

Oh, I forgot to mention something new. This weekend I noticed my stomach getting tight and having pain on one side when walking a lot. Same happened when I was at target today so I think I need to slow it down. This happened during my last pregnancy too. I have one speed and it’s speed walking so I have to focus on slowing down.

The pain in my side is like extended round ligament pain. It only bothers me when I’m walking a lot or a long distance. After I sit down it goes away.

Weeks/Due Date - 29w, scheduled c/s April 16
The Good - Still nothing of major concern going on. We had a baby shower this weekend and we got so many things that we needed and I feel much better about that now. Nesting has commenced. My MIL is also going to do part time grandma nanny for us so we will save a huge amount on hiring only a part time nanny which is awesome. I also found out that my employer has approved paid parental leave that will be effective in time for me to use it -- don't know the details of how long yet but I'm very happy about that. I'm going on our "babymoon" vacation on Saturday and I cannot wait.
The Bad - Basically the same as last week. Sleeping is difficult, I'm sort of always in pain of some degree, and almost everything exhausts me. The fatigue is so crazy this time.
Milestones/Appointments - I have my 30 wk appt on Feb 20 after my vacation.
To Do List - We got the cribs up and I have a bunch of clothes put away in drawers. Next will be organizing some other random things in the nursery and hanging stuff on walls. We also need to get a post up for a nanny to hire fairly soon.
Share your favorite healthy snack - I have an apple every day, along with strawberries and raspberries. I will also snack on chex mix sometimes. It's not "healthy" per se but in moderation it's fine.

After I sit down it goes away. I'm getting way more BH this time but I know it is due to twins and my body getting tired faster. It's super annoying though!

Weeks/Due Date - 21weeks, 7 days
The Good - The movement is soooo comforting. It looks like my GD is finally under control. I know things can change once he gets bigger, but for now I’m celebrating.
The Bad - Not baby related per se...but I’m a little scared to leave my department in the hands of another professor while I’m on maternity leave.
Milestones/Appointments - I told my dean I was pregnant. The next step is speaking to HR. Tomorrow is my fetal echo scan.
To Do List - Start sorting through DD’s old blankets and onesies.
Share your favorite healthy snack- Since I’m trying keto for my GD. I really like keto homemade pizza rolls.

Question about BH: what do they feel like for you?
I get like all over abdominal tightening that doesn’t stop. Nit doesn’t come and go like typical contractions. More like tightening that could last for half hour or more. Is that BH or just weird pregnancy stuff?

Weeks/Due Date - 29w2d; Due April 26 The Good - I’m on a work countdown, less than 6 weeks. The Bad - Sleep isn’t great and then I’m exhausted those days. Still have annoying right side pain. The OB said it isn’t in the right spot for gallbladder or liver problems, so likely just how things stretch for me. I’m super annoyed with my H who won’t just go along with my ideas for renos/ rearranging rooms. He has this pie in the sky idea and doesn’t want to settle. Meanwhile I’m like, we aren’t made of money or time. We have to do something. Milestones/Appointments - Up to OB appts every 2 weeks. So I’ll see him again next week. To Do List - fight with my H to get my way Share your favorite healthy snack - I’ve also been enjoying apples or bananas with PB. I’ll also eat most any kind of nuts.

At this point in my pregnancy it’s the same as you describe: all over tightening that lasts for a while. Later on, like 36+ weeks it’s more like contractions where it comes and goes. At least that’s what my experience was with my 2nd daughter.

Later in pregnancy (for me) it usually makes my belly point out lol

Weeks/Due Date - 24 weeks/May 30
The Good - baby moving more frequently which is reassuring. Have my first physio appt on the 21st so very excited for that!
The Bad - had a really bad headache for the last 2 days which was horrible but seems to have gone away for now. Not sure why either I never get headaches and I wasn’t dehydrated or anything else I could think of. I hope it doesn’t come back.
Milestones/Appointments - not seeing ob again until Mar 3.
To Do List - not much at the moment.
Share your favorite healthy snack - oranges (haha see: cravings) and I make healthy mini blueberry muffins or oatmeal/banana cookies.

My BH never last more than a minute or two, but sometimes I can get like 5 or 6 in quick succession. I usually try to change positions or lay down if I’m at home and that helps.

Weeks/Due Date - 24 weeks/May 30
The Good - I'm using a different hospital this time (same OB though) and have heard really good things from recent deliveries there, especially about the lactation consultant.
The Bad - I ate dinner really late last night and had reflux during the night.
Milestones/Appointments - I had an appointment yesterday, so my next one is in 3 weeks. I'll get my Rhogam shot and do the 1 hour glucose test.
To Do List - DH and I both need to get Tdap shots (found out at my appointment yesterday). We also need to work on the nursery so I can get clothes sorted and put away.
Share your favorite healthy snack - Dates, apples (no pb though), cutie oranges

I think they are super tasty, plus they have more potassium than bananas to help with these foot cramps I keep getting and lots of fiber for... you know. I've eaten them with all of my pregnancies and had to be induced each time because I passed my due date, so no anecdotal stories there.

I discovered why I haven’t been feeling as much movement this time, I have an anterior placenta. I have been feeling a ton of movement this morning and it’s all pretty low, which is also where it turns out her feet are. The placenta also didn’t let the tech get any good 3D shots, which is super lame.

Haha well I was hopeful because I was in labour with DS for 7500000 hours so I was willing to try anything to reduce that! But I think I’ll still try if not just to have a yummy snack (maybe make some energy balls or something). Plus the benefits you listed above I could always use help with more fiber ugh (and also don’t like bananas) so good to know, thanks!

At my anatomy scan I was freaked out because I hadn’t felt baby much the last few days so was really looking forward to having reassurance. The tech was saying “oh wow the baby’s moving so much can you feel that?” And I was like umm no I can’t feel anything and haven’t for a few days. And they told me mine was anterior as well so that’s probably why I hadn’t felt much. But yes I’d say the last week for sure has been a lot more constant movement which is very reassuring!

If so statistically subsequent baby deliveries are faster than your first. My good friend had a super long labor with her first and pushed for 3 hours. Her second labor was around 3 hours and baby came out with one big push. My second was also faster than my first but I was induced the 2nd time and my water broke on it’s own the first time.
