Wow, $300/wk for day camp? The priciest one I’ve looked at down home was $200 (some of the ‘specialty’ camps are a bit more expensive probably due to materials and smaller camper/instructor ratios) but I saw several for less. Thankfully I don’t need a whole summer of it, just a week here or there to break up the time. Yeah. The one M will do the most is like 150/week. There are a couple specialty ones that are a little more and I may let him do 1 or two of those. It’s just crazy that the more expensive ones aren’t even full day. I have wait to figure out if I can swing it with my work schedule this summer. Ours at the church is $155/week. Zoo camp is over $300/week and I can’t be there by 4:30 to pick her up. Creative writing camp is $400/week and they don’t offer before or after care. Science camp is $350/week and then more for before/after care. I need to win the lottery.

I'm so irritated. The website crashes and I spent the next 2 hours trying to get it to work. Various crashes, time outs, and internal server errors later and I get put on the damn waitlidt for both weeks. Ugh!!!

Yes, the camps I'm looking at range from 200 - 400/wk. Then I have to buy the extended care for each one because I can't leave work to get my kid by 3:30, so that's an extra $100 tacked on.

The daycamp here is very affordable, but there’s very little structure to it so I’m probably going to pass on that. There are two very nice private camps that we will use if the kids want to go but they are a little farther away. Josie will go to dance camp a few hours a week for a month. Charlie might do the camp at his preschool which is just July and only from 9-12 MWF.

Hello. I went to a fundraiser for the kid’s school last night. DH is on his way to CA right now and we have no plans for the rest of today. I want to go visit my grandma and then maybe take the kids out to dinner. Tomorrow DD has a meet an hour away at 8am and DS has a game at noon so I have a sitter coming at 7am and my dad taking DS to his game. In 2 weeks I get 2 glorious nights away with no children.

Hi hi. In laws are here for the weekend so I’m hiding in our room to feed L. He fell asleep 10 minutes ago and I’m in no hurry to move.
Dh took H to urgent care this morning for a step test. He had a fever overnight and said his neck hurt. I saw one or two white spots so I thought it would be best to get it checked before our 8 month old nephew came. The rapid test case back negative so hopefully it’s nothing. He’s acting normal now, but once the Tylenol wears off, he’s pretty sad looking.

Hi!
S is still sick but barely. As soon as the motrin starts wearing off he says his head hurts then he starts a low fever. Hasn’t been above 100 yet and 25 minutes after taking the meds he’s back to himself.
Unfortunately we had to skip his new bff’s birthday party today so that was a bummer.

For reals. Although, I may have it cheaper where I am based off of the summer camp thread on GD. I think someone said $300+/week per kid I was like . Most camps here start registration in March and some have early bird rates. It's $400-500 a week in the city at the private schools 😵 or for specialty ones. Just outside the city where we are they drop a bit..we are doing our before/aftercare year round though so it's about $200 a week. Hoping it's good enough and we can continue to do that and throw in a specialty camp here and there in the future.

Where can this week go to die?!
My skin is unbearable so I had to head to the ER. My ABX don’t seem to be helping. They are going do an ultrasound to determine how much fluid there is so they can decide whether or not to cut into me. Probably more ABX needed either way.
Pipsqueak doesn’t seem well. He’s very lethargic and hanging around by his water dish since last night. I don’t think he’s eaten anything in the last 36 hours. I called various vets in the area, but most don’t take rabbits. It doesn’t sound like anyone can see him until Monday morning.

Our camp is $220 a week. I think the Y is $195 for members and I’ve been thinking of rejoining so we may do that and do a couple weeks at both places. I wanted him to do zoo camp and maybe he will but it’s about $325 for the week. There’s tons of other great camps but they end at noon or one and have no extra hours so these are our options.

Damn cagoldi. I’m sorry. Unfortunately I don’t know much about rabbits. Any chance he got into something? Not that knowing that helps if no one can see him. slenle and jewels I hope your boys feel better soon! trtlcrzy I wish I looked that good pregnant!
