I took tomorrow off work. H wants to go to the parade downtown. I do not, but I will go. The parade is at 11:30, we are leaving our house at 6:30 and riding with my brother and SIL. It's going to be insane. They're predicting over a million people to attend, 3" of snow and high of 24. I'd actually rather be at work.  |

X took off his own pants and peed in the potty yesterday! He also ate an apple, a whole one. Kind of a big deal because that means his tongue/jaw coordination and strength are really improving.

guster that's so sweet. One of the things I love about aftercare is hearing S come home and talk about the "big kids". So far it's been a great experience for him and all the kids seem so sweet.

jewels , have you tried ear candling? I have not. Something about that freaks me out. My friend used to do this for her H all the damn time. then some wax somehow slid down and burned his eardrum. It was extremely painful and he had to have surgery. No thank you. |

In college my drunk roommate and her friends did it in our apartment at like 2am, set off the fire alarms....yeah...no bueno. I've seen good results online though. Just don't be drunk at 2am and try it with just a rolled up piece of paper and a lighter. |

That is so sweet guster . YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! for X cagoldi ! The cycle of naps and no naps at daycare is extremely frustrating jewels , it is a lose lose situation for sure. I'm going through a little of that with Julia right now and but she says she just doesnt sleep well on her cot, I feel bad being happy for it but she cuddles into bed no problem and is out. I only have until November to deal with this then she's in the pre-k room and its a no nap room. |

I love ear candling, I do it on MH a couple times a year. I've done it quite a few times but the amount that comes out is quite minimal so I dont do it as often.
LOL, ya I wouldnt recommend rolled paper and fire, YIKES!

My SIL sent me a text that they're thinking about leaving at 4:30AM now. AM! I'm hoping that was part of what she forwarded me from someone else. I don't leave my house that early EVER. I don't think H would go for that time either. |

Morning. L had another rough night, so I’m dragging. We took H to school And L fell asleep in the car. I managed to get him back down in his bed so I’m chillin on the couch. I’m sure he’ll be up any minute.

I’d wake my kids up that early if we had a flight to catch or something. |

Plus, going potty in a porta potty when it's that cold is pretty miserable. Besides keeping track of her in a crowd like that...no. freaking. way. She's staying with grandparents tonight. |

I just found out that in addition to our elementary being closed the 10th and17th, the daycare will be, too.
I’m going to have to tell Pete to pick one of the days. I can’t wrangle all the kids from the second story while I try to work.
