Anyone have a super easy method for organizing completed papers? Also, what really needs to be kept? My mom homeschooled my sisters and me and seemed to have kept everything. For funsies, she sends boxes of stuff for me to look thru. I know I don't need to keep most of the papers but making myself throw them away is hard.

I don’t keep a lot at this age because records aren’t required by our state. I keep any paperwork related to official stuff (letter of intent, notice of approval, yearly testing records) and then two samples from each subject to show growth, plus anything “special” like the first time DS2 wrote his name. I also keep a list of books we read, texts we use, and a very basic syllabus with learning outcomes for each subject.
The whole year for both kids fits into a 1” binder with room left over.
