DH predicted I was pregnant before I got a positive test because of my boobs. And now they are SO sensitive! I’m with magaroni on breaking DH’s fingers if he tries to touch them. Yesterday I was listening to a podcast I like and they were talking about breast pumps and milk coming in and that sort of thing, and my boobs started to hurt just thinking about them being engorged. Mine are fine most of the day until I have to take my bra off. So sore after that. Ugh ya that’s the best part of the day is taking off my bra and putting on sweats. So less restrictive! Edit: I just realized you are saying that it’s more painful without a bra! Would a sports bra help? I feel better with out one but that might be because my bras are probably too tight currently.

I really don’t want to buy new ones because the nursing bras I already have will likely be fine once my rib cage goes back down to a more normal size after birth.

Had my follow up anatomy scan today to get a few more pictures and all looks good. Luckily everyone was cool with me having to bring along DS1.
They just want to do one more growth scan in 10 weeks. It seems crazy that I’ve had 3 ultrasounds in the last 5 weeks, and now I should only have one for the rest of the pregnancy!

Mine have also gotten so big, I’m usually very flat chested so it’s weird to look down and see cleavage haha! My H is in love with them though and always mentions how he can’t believe how big they are. I’m happy he can enjoy them now and keep reminding him they will go away. It’s like a free boob job 🤣 Mine are very large to begin with so now they are porn star boob status. Girl SAME

If the cups are good on your nursing bras but the band just too tight on your ribs, the extenders would be perfect. You can get them with any number of hooks on them too so it doesn't matter what type of bra it is.

I feel everyone on the boobs. My boobs are large-ish for my frame when I’m not pregnant, but not crazy. But when I get pregnant omg they just explode. It’s annoying too because I don’t even plan on breastfeeding so it feels pointless lol. I hope the process of them shrinking after birth isn’t too painful.
My H is already well aware that I will be saving for a breast lift after these babies are born. My size is fine but I want them to be permanently perky again.

willow when our first pregnancy ended at 21 weeks, my milk still came in. It was super painful. Definitely have some pain reduction techniques ready to get past the engorgemenf if you don’t plan to breastfeed - I don’t remember exactly what I used but I’m sure the internet has some recommendations!

Cold cabbage leaves and a tightish sports bra are what's always recommended in my local mom-group.

They’re only sore for a little while, so it’s not too terrible. I do have a nursing sports bra style bra I wear sometimes.

Yes I had to dry up my supply the first time with my son after about a month of BFing because I hated it, so I had a ton of supply. I remember it was a pretty miserable week or so. I remember using decongestant and a tight sports bra and guzzling sage tincture mixed with water. I’m hoping this time since I won’t even be expressing my boobs once that it will happen faster?

My engorgement only lasted maybe 2-3 days, and it was tolerable from what I remember.

It should help - obviously I didn't express at all with our loss, and it's like the milk tried to come in and then gave up? It's hard to describe. It was pretty different from what I remember with DS.
