lol sdlaura you're telling me. In so many ways! I have reached that "your body will tell you when to slow down/stop" phase that my doctor told me would happen. It's really hard for me to do much of anything and I feel so pathetic because I was not this way with my first pregnancy! Apparently creating two babies at once really takes a toll on your body, who knew? lol.

Weeks/Due Date - 21+4/ June 13
The Good - I feel like I just filled this out for last week, ha. But I’m still doing ok. No terrible symptoms. Been feeling the baby so much more I swear he’s grown stronger this week. I have a feeling this ones going to be a lot more active than my first.
The Bad - nothing too bad
Milestones/Appointments - Next appt is feb 21
To Do List - The only thing I’ve bought/focused on lately is cloth diapers 😬 I may have become a little obsessed. So I should probably put some focus on something else, lol.

Ugh I’ve lost nearing 30lbs. Again, I wasn’t tiny when I got pregnant but it is nearing not healthy stage of losing. My doctor put me on meds but it’s not helping. I posted in HDBD thread so you can see I’m not crazy thing or anything but I miss being able to eat.

For all my silly complaining about weight gain, not being able to eat is sooooo much worse. First tri was absolute horrid, I can't imagine that continuing for 9 months.

Worries about weight gain aren’t fun either though! I think it’s okay to both have our concerns. Pregnancy is a tough time for all moms lol.

Got a call today that baby only has a two vessel cord, and that they couldn’t see everything they needed to on the anatomy scan. I have a follow up scan in March and I have an appointment tomorrow to discuss testing and monitoring. I’m a little freaked out. The nurse didn’t tell me anything except her heart looks good, that she is measuring the right size for my gestation, and that it’s a two vessel cord. Idk what was missed on the scan or anything else. Wikipedia says there is about a 75% chance she is normal and about a 25% chance there is something abnormal going on. I’m terrified of that 25%.

Ugh I'm sorry Radley. News like that, without further information, has to be so stressful. I'm glad they're getting you in right away to discuss it though. Hopefully it's just some extra monitoring and nothing more than that.

Radley, this is totally anecdotal, but my now 7-year/old nephew had a two vessel cord and it ended up fine. Sending you good vibes!!

Radley My BFF had a 2 vessel cord with her first pregnancy. She had extra monitoring throughout but he is a healthy 7 year old now. Hopefully they can give you some answers or at least a plan of how they will proceed tomorrow.

Thanks guys! The anecdotal evidence is calming for sure! It’s just always nerve wrecking to hear something isn’t normal.

Radley congrats on the baby girl! I have a feeling this team green baby is a girl too but we shall see. I’m really sorry that after everything you’ve been through you now have this additional worry. I don’t have any experience with that specific issue but even with the ectopic having a higher chance of another one, it really helped to focus on the higher odds of it being good news rather than the lower % of it being bad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I hope your doctor can ease your mind some tomorrow at your appt. I also know someone who’s baby had a 2 vessel cord and baby came out healthy and happy.

My boobs are so big and heavy, ugh. I am not looking forward to them becoming super engorged after baby is born. Hopefully it won’t be too long before my belly can help hold them up, lol.

Mine have also gotten so big, I’m usually very flat chested so it’s weird to look down and see cleavage haha! My H is in love with them though and always mentions how he can’t believe how big they are. I’m happy he can enjoy them now and keep reminding him they will go away. It’s like a free boob job 🤣

Got insanely big during pregnancy and breastfeeding with DS1 and DS2 (fount out I was pregnant with DS2 while I was still nursing). After DS2 weaned, they shrunk quite a bit. Smaller than they'd been in YEARS (but still quite large for my frame). Now they're massive again. I'm afraid what they'll be like after this baby.

Mine didn’t shrink at all, they just became very deflated and sad looking after I stopped nursing DD2.

DH predicted I was pregnant before I got a positive test because of my boobs. And now they are SO sensitive! I’m with magaroni on breaking DH’s fingers if he tries to touch them. Yesterday I was listening to a podcast I like and they were talking about breast pumps and milk coming in and that sort of thing, and my boobs started to hurt just thinking about them being engorged.
