Happy Monday everyone. Nothing too crazy this weekend, took H to a pottery place to finish our V day gifts (vases with his fingerprints as hearts). Had to buy a mug for him to paint because he wasn't feeling the just sitting there. Do we still share pics in the private board? I have some cute vday ones I'm not putting on social media cause they involve my nephew. I'll take any and all low carb snack and meal suggestions. I had an appt with the RE last week to talk about an FET and I know my A1C was an issue last time so I'm starting to watch my carbs to ensure things are on track. I did a very quick 2 week keto diet to loose some bloat (worked!) and I ate a lot of cheese, beef sticks, nuts, pickles, cottage cheese and eggs.

I normally do boiled eggs and turkey sausage from costco for breakfast, lunch deli meat and cheese in a low carb tortilla or pita with a salad of broccoli and cauliflower, and then meat with a green veggie or something in low carb tortillas for dinner. We love fat head pizza if you haven't tried it yet. I snack on cheese, nuts, low carb protein bars, and pepperoni most of the time.

Thanks sarahandben108 and pootsen! I slept for 12hrs last night! I’m still really achy/sore and get fatigued quickly but I think I’m on the mend. My H has to go into work for a bit today but he took the boys to his parents so I can rest. Watching some cold case files on Netflix and then I’m going to take a bath. Get well soon! We went shopping yesterday and went into a store where the guy tried to sell me "buy two bath salts, get the third free" and I was thinking if only I had that much time for baths 🤣 H bought me like an eight or six set of bath bombs for mother's day two years ago. I've used two, lol.

Happy weekend!
I was supposed to go to my sisters for my nieces 2nd birthday but my niece has been spiking fevers and I decided not to risk exposing the boys to anything. It’s a miracle they didn’t catch my flu!
So we’re just bumming around this weekend. It should be relatively nice outside so I’m sure we’ll get out for a bit.

But enjoy the race and the vacay! Cold is relative. It was -15 where we left from. The 60 degree weather in Florida was lovely! Race was super fun. Definitely recommend!

I take a lot of baths. H knows that that’s my non-negotiable unwinding time several times a week. Treat yourselves, ladies!
Also, hi. I have been so bad about coming in here lately. Things have been good. Just busy!

Sounds like you had a lot of fun cnf. We did Disney two years ago and it was 85-90 out. 60 sounds pretty marvelous though. I'd love to take more baths. I took a lot when E was a baby because he was so colicky it was the only time I had to destress. Also, Hi! I'm back to work today after our winter break. I had a busy but good week off. I actually was ALONE in my house for more than an hour on Wednesday. I think the last time that happened was before E was born. I also had a massage and facial. It was wonderful. I told my H that I think all woman need to have one once a month. I might actually start to do that.

Congratulations on the race cnf! A Disney race sounds like so much fun. We’re going to WDW in May 2021 and I’m starting to research all the things. I can’t wait! Although I will definitely not be running a half while I’m there haha.

Hello and happy Monday! We had nothing planned for this last weekend so I decided to paint our bedroom. Because of course I can’t just let us have a nice relaxing weekend. It was a lot of work but it looks really nice. Ds1 has been recovering from flu B. He seems to be feeling much better but spiked a fever yesterday afternoon and in the middle of the night so he had to stay home again today, he hasn’t been at school since last week Tuesday. 🤞he can go back tomorrow. C is good- he had a couple of low grade fevers last weekend so I think he actually had a very mild case of the flu first and then passed it to Ds1.

About once a year I have “terrific lady days” (if you have watched The League, this makes a lot more sense. Massage, facial, a night at a hotel. It’s amazing! Although this year I have found it impossible to even have the time to do that. But I do plan on a massage soon.

Hi all. I’ve got my kids propped in front of Mickey Mouse to finish my breakfast and get everything packed. Monday’s are a lot.
We didn’t do too much this weekend. DS is living swim lessons, but we did have our first scare. He wore goggles and loved it, but then when she had the next kiddo, he tried looking underwater again but leaned over the seat edge and you could see him thrusting his hands trying to find something to push up on. I yelled since I was watching from over near the hot tub where DD was after her class and instructor got him right away. Needless to say, they worked a lot next on “monkey fell in and turned right around” next. 🤷🏼♀️
I’m excited that my mom and niece who is DD’s age are coming in almost 1 month! My mom isn’t going to believe how much DS has changed. We haven’t been home since November. I’m also trying to plan a trip home, but with her coming April, and MIL’s open heart surgery likely being end of April, plus more buying 4 plane tickets, it’s looking like we will only do 2 trips, with one in the summer.
I’m glad my Monday deadline got pushed to Wed, since I don’t even have enough information to do my design with.

Afternoon all! We had a good weekend, got to the park both days. I also got a lot of prep done since I'm out of the house 3 nights after work this week. It's CD1 womp womp but that also means I get to get the ball rolling on an FET!

We've had some sickness roll through us lately and L ended up with his first ear infection a couple of weeks ago so we gave him the tablet to watch and play with a ton. Well now he is obsessed with Blippi and asks for it repeatedly. Oops.

He just had a double ear infection about 3 weeks ago. We are being referred to an ears, nose, and throat doctor to see if he needs tubes.

We had a rough 2 days in class, well DS2 did. The teacher and TA are handling the 1st situation, which we had to email her about. DS2 takes school rules very straight forward and we had to tell him in certain situations, he has to break them to speak up for himself. Then the 2nd was an admin evolved situation, and we found out in an email. DS2 doesn’t seem to be aware of the situation, but that isn’t surprising, especially if it didn’t involve him.
I am so looking forward to this weekend, when the weather will be nice and we can be outside and open up the house a bit.
A‘s vocabulary is expanding like crazy and I’m in awe. It catches me off guard when my child doesn’t struggle, I’m trying to embrace it.
My sister also messaged me this morning, I updated my private board post.

I have taken him in to the doctor several times for fevers, etc and his ears always looking fine. Good luck with the ENT!

So E does have another double ear infection and we finally got the call from the ENT office to schedule an appointment for him. In MAY. So now we get to wait 2.5 months before he gets seen. Awesome.

Every once in a while I have a day off work and MIL insists on still taking C so I can have a day to myself. I always fantasize about spending the entire day relaxing, watching tv, etc. but I usually end up running errands and catching up on cleaning. I did get a massage the last time though, that was nice.

Long day. Ended with DS going Pee in the potty for the first time (yay!) and realizing that DD might have pink eye right before bed. I disinfected everything inside, and am preparing myself to go to urgent care tomorrow. Also they bounced in the bounce house together today, so that sucks.
