Anyone else (very likely irrationally) concerned? I think living in California and traveling a lot for work has me spooked. I just read that in one of the confirmed cases in the US, the guy flew into the San Jose airport on January 24th. San Jose is the place I go for work most often, and I flew in and out of there on January 23rd. That’s a bit too close to home. I usually fly about once a week - maybe I’ll get a mask and start carrying bleach wipes or something. I do realize the risk is still very small...

I'm not super concerned about it personally (yet). There haven't been any cases (even suspected) where I am and neither DH nor I will be travelling in the near future - he goes to work by company helicopter and doesn't even go to the regular airport for that. However if I was going through the airport or in an area with known cases, I would 100% be wearing a mask.

I don't travel for work thankfully but we have a trip to Florida at the end of next week and I am contemplating wearing the n95 mask in the airport and on the plane. I'm not crazy worried but also thinking better safe than sorry, especially given how far along I am and I don't want to risk having to deliver these babies so early. In my daily life here in my area I am not worried about it.

I have never traveled out of state much, neither of us have jobs the require it. I also live in a tiny town that isn’t even adjacent to a travel hub city. I’m 1hr 45 minutes at least from an airport so I’m not really worried. But if I traveled or lived in a bit city I probably would be.

There is a confirmed case a couple towns over, but despite being in healthcare (well... dental), I'm not too worried. I don't usually go to that city (college town) and I only fly once a year, but probably won't this year anyway thanks to the new baby. I just learned today though that there is a shortage of masks, so that's fun. 😬 My boss just ordered 50 boxes so we don't run out!

I’m not too worried. And, there 2 confirmed cases in my city. One is in isolation at a hospital about 1 mile from where I work. Washing your hands and regular infection control measures are your best bet. Keep in mind, those N95 masks need to be specifically fitted to your face. There are lots of versions. I have to do n95 mask fit testing every 2 years for work and it has changed at different points for me!
