I had no idea it was sneak peak week at tap. I needed to do a quick grocery store run, but I had to stay and watch. It was cute. Josie’s great in class, but sometimes she’s a bit much and my inner self is both proud of her outgoing personality but equally wants her to tone it down.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Everyone slept in until 7:30am and we’re all loving be at home and lazy this morning. I’ve done a few little projects around the house and I guess we should have lunch soon.

I don’t think we’re doing anything today, I’ll probably do a bunch of meal prep today for next week lunches, I’m thinking chicken fajitas.

It’s so hard! I think there were seven or eight parents there and I watched each one of them grimace or shake their head in disbelief (at their own kid) A few called out their child’s name to get them to refocus. I know I’m not alone, but it definitely gives me some stress.

We have had swim and I picked up some spin shoes for myself so I can stop wearing mh's that are several sizes too big. He was grouchy that I left when k was asleep, j was down and n was about to go down...and when I got home he immediately went up to take a nap. Now he's still asleep 2.5 hours later and I have all 3 kids and not sure what we are supposed to do.

We need to go Costco and I need to return a bathing suit to lands end. Oh and the parent/kid basketball game was a bust, j apparently cried on the sideline bc he was wearing PJs for pajama day for his class..even though we had suggested he bring other clothes🙄

Hi! I worked until 700 this morning. I don’t go back to work until Monday at 900pm. However I caught the illness my coworker has and I feel my throat is on fire. Trying to decide what’s for dinner. I think we will just do pizza and be done with it.

The party was fun. M’s teacher’s assistant was there and she let me know that all the teachers just love M. I knew he could be quite the little charmer, but apparently he’s an all out ladies man. Lol.

I made two stops with the boys after the party and I don’t want to make that a habit. Why is it so exhausting when they tag along?

I won’t be going out until way later tonight. They couldn’t seat us early and they are doing dinner further south than I want to go, so I’ll just meet them for the band after dinner.

He is 2.5. It’s mostly M, but they feed off of each other’s energy and makes it more stressful than it should be. I don’t mind doing it with one of them, but together it can be a lot.

I felt fine when I got home from PA a few hours ago but now my head and throat hurt. DD is coughing and already went to bed by choice. DH and DS are in NY for hockey. The littles will go to bed soon I hope so I can rest. Hopefully, we are just getting the boy’s colds and not the flu that’s going around.

DD did well today but the scores for all the girls were much lower than usual so she was discouraged.

I have lined up sitters for the 4 things that have come up this week alone. I don’t think I can’t plan any further than that right now.

I think C has the flu. Do I take him for a test tomorrow and get tamiflu? My concern is 1) exposing him to the flu if he doesn’t have it, or whatever other crap people in the waiting room have. 2) the possible side effects of nausea/vomiting that come with it

Yesssss. M runs everywhere. He has no walk, so all day I’m yelling for him to slow down. He is normally chasing and trying to scare M2 and, at times, it’s just too much.

I would take him in. Maybe go first thing in the AM so you can possibly avoid a full waiting room?

Honestly I probably wouldn't unless you want tamiflu. I took C and L in last year and they didn't even swab them because I decided against tamiflu so there really was no point in confirming.

No advice, but I hope he feels better, wedding and that you and yh are spared!

wedding I often call and ask if we should come in. They may want to document cases of flu or be aware of other things to be aware of. I wouldn't worry that much about catching other germs, just wash hands and don't touch the toys. Hope he feels better

wedding I would only take him in if you’re worried and/or want tamiflu. Otherwise there’s not much they can do. Hopefully he’ll feel better soon!

I’m on the other side, since they both get/understand more, I feel like it’s getting easier. Plus sooo much less gear to bring!

Dinner last night was fun; it was tapas which I’m meh on for large groups bc I always spend a ton and leave feeling vaguely hungry, lol.

So I think I mentioned the restaurant was in a neighboring city, which does not have the best reputation in terms of safety, etc. I saw in the news this morning that there was a shooting in the same block as the restaurant we ate at, less than a half hour after we left 😳 *This* is why I do not normally go there.

Not much on the agenda today, the sun is out so I think DH will take the kids to the park after lunch. I need to dig out my Valentine’s decorations.

I need to get some cleaning done then I think I'll enjoy the magic of empty grocery stores during the game.

Yesterday the sparring seminar was a lot of fun. I got the joy of going against 3 competitors all higher belt level and 20+ years my junior. Keeps me young I guess. Madison is such a badass. She sparred against 3 different boys, 2 higher ranked and gave them all the business. 💪💪🥋
