Dh left this morning for a couple of days. H is at my sisters for the afternoon and I had big plans of being productive but L won’t let me put him down so I’m sitting on the couch instead.
I’m supposed to have volleyball tonight but we had to forfeit because only 3 of us could make it. Kinda bummed about that.

Dealing with all the post car accident stuff is annoying. The claims lady was super nice and helpful but it’s just annoying that I have to do all this running around/work and I was not the one that caused this mess.

My eye appt was at 1, they got me back into an exam room about 1:05 and did the prelim stuff (history, exam, etc). Now waiting on the dr to come in to look at the *actual issue I’m having* and it’s 2 pm, I’ve been sitting here for well over a half hour. I already got up once to check on status.
ETA: This is not the best ‘first impression’ for this practice. (I also submitted all the new patient paperwork online but it ‘didn’t go thru’ so I had to redo it by hand). I am not missing my 2:45 hair appt for this. I will walk out lol.

I mean I don’t like to miss work for sinus colds and such, but suspected FLU??! NO! He must not have been in his right mind. STAY HOME. I worked with him a little yesterday, too before he started having chills and then I found out his daughter had it. I better not get it.

I was really mad because I went early AM before work and was expecting to be a little late and I was a lot late. ETA: and they had a FULL waiting waiting room at 8am. One of the reasons I made it early was to be one of the first in and that logic did not work that day.

Question. Do car insurance rates increase for female drivers?
Just noticed MH is listed as the primary driver on my car. If it will be higher with me as the primary, I don’t know if I want to change it. Would you?

State Farm goes off driving record/accidents, etc. I'd just choose whatever is the cheapest. ETA I know back in the day insurance was more expensive for a boy under 25 than a girl. Not sure if that's still the case or not.

I’m the only driver with accident history, but not sure if it matters that I wasn’t at fault. I’m the one who dealt with insurance when I bought the car, so maybe she put it under Mh because it was cheaper? Idk.

I feel like I have most of my ducks in a row now. Car estimate is done and I’m scheduled to drop it off next Thursday morning. I requested that they give me a minivan for my rental car so that’ll be nice to try out for a bit. Then I went to the chiro this afternoon and she said my pelvis is very out of alignment. I have scheduled my next appt with her for next Monday immediately after my PT appt. Oh and I just realized that H doesn’t have school on Monday because of conferences so I guess she’s coming with me to my appts. I need to get up and make/eat supper because I have to go to work. Boo. and I’m training again which is not my favorite.

Hi! Just woke up. I had a rough night at work. I’m so exhausted.
PDQ I may poof
So I’m on an IUD but I’ve been feeling like I did at the beginning stages of pregnancy with E. I POAS but the results looked odd. Should detest using same brand or go get another one.

trtlcrzy yes, I was seen shortly after I posted here. So...it was not quite what I was hoping, which was just a benign skin tag or something. LSS, doctor took one look and was like, "I want to biopsy this b/c I think it may be basal cell." She gave me the option of taking photos and monitoring it for a couple months, or going ahead with the biopsy. I opted to do it asap so she did it today. Having a growth removed from your lower eyelid is about as delightful as it sounds. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't really know what was coming and that I didn't have weeks to dwell on it, b/c it sucked. On the upside, I actually really like the opthomologist (despite my initial impression). I feel like I am in the perfect hands for this and someone up there sent me in her direction (to make this appt I literally googled ophthalmologist in XYZ city). She did her fellowship and specializes in oculoplastics, which is essentially reconstructive surgery of the eye. So if it IS basal carcinoma (or, god forbid, worse) they will do surgery to remove the margins and then repair my lower eyelid. So if you're the praying kind, I'd appreciate a good word. I go in next week for the pathology results and to come up with a plan. I would still be freaked if it was on my arm or whatnot, but my eyelid is just crazy! And I am religious about wearing sunglasses, hats, etc. when outside or in the car. (DH teases me b/c i wear sunglasses in the pouring rain and gray skies.)

flamingo, I’m sorry you’re dealing with this and the appointment was not what you expected, but I’m glad the doctor is being proactive about it. I will keep positive thoughts for you.

flamingo So crazy. My dad has basically had skin cancer all over his body, but never around his eyes. I’ll be praying that it’s nothing.

flamingo I’m sorry it seems like it may be what you feared. Is it the inside of the eyelid, or on the outside? Sounds like you’re in good hands, though. I’ll send one up for you.

It's kind of on the top(?) and right in the middle, just above my lashes. Kind of a weird spot, IMO, but it's apparently not completely unusual. Usually it's seen in much older people though.

flamingo on man, I'm sorry, that definitely took a turn. Sounds like she's on it though and glad you didn't have to skip the appt. Thinking of you and hoping the biopsy scar isn't too uncomfortable.
