Hi! I went out with my BFF last night. I am joining the Elk’s Club next month 👵🏼 and I got her to sign up so we can initiate together. My aunt, uncle and cousin are also initiating at the same time. Lol. So funny. It’s located downtown so I will be able to park there for free 🙌🏼 & there is a bar inside where drinks are CHEAP. 💃🏼
The pork nachos I ate last night kept me up for hours with heartburn and now my stomach is kind messed up. I’m supposed to take the kids to the gym today to swim too 🥴

I’m sorry vino, I hope it passes quickly. Murphy’s Law with deployments and all 😝 There is some awful stomach bug going around, we have friends in Chicago and they said it is absolutely rampant there. Bleh. |

After B’a game, we puttered around the house for a bit, then grabbed lunch at Chipotle and hit Home Depot for some odds and ends.
Now we’re back home and I’m...packing! I had my Xmas china displayed in the china cabinet so I decided to go ahead and store it in dish-pack boxes. One less thing for the movers to tackle in May, and it feels like progress 🙌🏻🙌🏻

We had a last minute add on so didn’t leave when I thought I would. I’m hungry and decided to come to this place I’ve been wanting try. I’ve heard they have the best table side guacamole, but I haven’t eaten much yet today, so instead of getting that, I’m getting a specialty burger. I will plan to come back soon for that guac.

A is welding on my dad's truck so I'm on the couch under a sleeping MJ. The boys were with him for a while but came home to warm up. They're playing legos now.
We're supposed to go out for dinner. M wants sushi.

Hi hi - we had j's last bike lesson and mh wanted to go and somehow that meant the whole family had to go...not sure why he couldn't just take him. Then we went to CFA for lunch. Just made a little progress on the nursery and going to get a ride in shortly. Mh just found out that his work will pay up to $300 for a fitness incentive, which will cover most of our bike subscription 🙌

vino I hope you arent getting it too! You guys...my kid is testing my patience to the limits. She never shuts up, she doesnt listen to what I say, even if shes punished, she talks back, etc. I really hate this age. I have no idea how you moms of more than one stay sane because shes going to make me run away.

I took T to a party late morning then my friend came over and DH served us cocktails and tapas all afternoon. Sitter will be here in 1/2 an hour then we are heading out to celebrate my sister’s birthday that was yesterday and her husband’s which is tomorrow. Hockey added a last minute game so DH has to meet me at dinner a little late.

inthekitty we are thinking of renting a car for our Seattle trip in April. Do you know how challenging it is to park in the city? The Air bnb we are staying at has parking and we figure we would use the car for day trips (recs welcome). We would be interested and seeing mountains and maybe a small hike but nature’s not my thing.

peachsmama I just thought about the fact that our 10 year is next year, too. We actually still need to take a “honeymoon” (ha! Because the honeymoon phase is definitely OVER) and I always imagined we’d take an international trip for our 10 year. Not sure if that will happen yet, but I need to at least start thinking about it so we can start planning and saving.
