My kid came to my bed at midnight. She stole all the covers and encroached on my space by turning horizontal. I got up at 5 and tried her bed, but Dickens' just wanted to chew on my fingers and make biscuits in my hair. So I'm currently laying on the couch in the dark hoping my kid doesn't wake up for the day for another hour+.
She has no school today, but FIL wants to see her, so I'll drop her off for a few hours before this afternoon's dance class. Maybe I can get a nap in.

H just sprayed a bunch of air freshener. Good dog I may die before the sun comes up. Clearly everyone in the house hates me.

Morning! I'm tired and sore and glad to send Chase off to daycare. DH and I are going to take Col bowling and to lunch, and I need to do laundry and maybe run a few miles to stretch out my muscles. I'll probably check in with work since the Calgary office is open, too. But I'm happy to not play referee for the day at least.
ETA: I also need to grocery shop. I think Colin is going through a growth spurt - he's in the fridge constantly grabbing tomatoes in between meals

Morning! I am at work and MH is home today with both boys. I love commuting in on a holiday - my normal 1 hour commute was 35 minutes!

Morning. I’m at work. MH is home with the boys today. They will be hanging around the house waiting on the Furnace repair guy. They gave us a window between 8 and 2. I hope he goes early. I like to be home to deal with that kind of stuff, so hoping Mh can handle it.

Morning!
It’s freezing cold here and snow-flurrying but I don’t think it’s supposed to stick. 4 months, 4 months...
DH is taking B to speech and then picking up a grocery order. I’m hoping we can convince the kids to have a movie day so I don’t have to leave the house 🥶 (and maybe I can sneak in some purging 🤞🏻).

huh, tomatoes joelies that's an interesting snack. S is constantly eating cheese. I think he is about 80% cheese at this point. He'd rather have carbs or cheese but we limit what he can have between meals. Otherwise I'm not sure he'd eat actual meals at all. |

Morning. H is at school today. S was supposed to go but she slept in, which is very unusual for her, and when I woke her up she seemed pretty miserable so she’s home. I need to run a couple of errands this morning so she’s going with and it’ll be fine. I need to also do laundry today, but that doesn’t sound like any fun.

Its freezing here today. I'm placing a grocery order for delivery and staying in all day. At MJ's check up she still had some redness in one ear but the dr. Thought it would clear up but shes been getting grumpier. So I'm waiting to hear back from her to see if she wants her checked or if she will just call in some antibiotics.

Morning Dh had a day off due to test week at school and him not being rostered to surveillance during them. So we started tackling the attic/new story stb kids rooms. We purged a lot of toys, books and old clothes. Dh also went trough his diy/tool stuff, there’s so much of it and it seems so wasteful to just toss it, but we don’t have a shed or a garage. It needs to make room 🤷🏼♀️. We also ordered a floor today, so things are finally happening.

Currently playing My Little Ponies with C and she is demanding, "the ponies have to talk!" Same story with Barbie earlier. As a kid I would create the most elaborate storylines for all my toys and animals, but as an adult I find myself utterly incapable of coming up with dialogue "to play". Can't the ponies just enjoy the silence?? Oddly enough, DH is playing a board game with B and does not care to switch  |

Chilly day here. I took j to the pediatrician and confirmed that his rash is just more of the same molluscum contagium he's been dealing with, and it is looking in the final stages so we need to just wait it out. Hoping it clears up sooner rather than later, it's not great.
Mh and j are now at the grocery store and I'm straightening a few drop zones without much success. Somehow we had 5 give away baseball hats that no one is wearing in the hat zone 🤔.

The day is dragging. It’s been slow. I could have so much done if I had access to the innanets. I may have to go to the library to do the online paperwork for the new job.
The heat will not be fixed until tomorrow. They had to overnight a circuit board, but I went through the home warranty company, so we don’t have to come out of pocket for that expense...I think.

MH had to work today so i took the kids to the trampoline park. One of our M’s friends met us there and they had a blast. H on the other hand had one meltdown after another. He’s down for a nap and i’m going to do the dishes, fold some laundry and get dinner prepped.

Call me crazy, but would you assume a program advertised for "3 to 6" year-olds would INCLUDE children who are 6? B/c B is "6 years old and 1 month" as of Feb. 1, he is ineligible to play rec-leaguge basketball again.
Grrrr.
There seems to be a program on base that starts this week, hoping I can call and get him signed up there tomorrow morning. Everything else in town has already started.
