Morning sexy chicks!
This week has kicked my ass, it’s not anything specific but I feel like it’s been go-go-go, I’m ready for the weekend!
Tonight B and I are going to a WHL hockey game, they are so much fun so I’m excited and having one on one time with B is always great.

Some people are currently at my house to clean the tile. I'm more excited about it than I should be.
It's early dismissal day so my in laws are picking up the kids and keeping them over night. Next week they're going on vacation for a month and want to get as much grandkid time in as they can.

The girls have a 2 hr delay due to ice. After they go to school I'm making it my mission to hunt down a waffle food cart that looks amazing and book a massage.

Oh, and that dance game I got for the Nintendo? Worth every penny. It was a joy watching the girls dance last night. And I'm sure they were just as amused watching me bust a move (I'm working on all the phrases that will mortify then someday).

Morning! I am currently living in a snow globe. The kids are mostly playing nice but I’ve had to break up/settle a few fights. I prob won’t leave my house at all today.

trtlcrzy I think there's a couple of super cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies where people are living in a snow globe too. Something tells me your reality won't be as magical.

I have to go to the grocery and its 20 degrees. I don't want to leave. Mallory has been up since 7:30 and is refusing to nap. Every time I sit down with her she screams...

Do you have a before and after? I should hire someone to come out for a cleaning and sealing.

trtlcrzy, how have you been feeling? Remind me when you are due again? Mostly pretty good. My pelvis is already starting to have issues so that sucks but I’ll get through it. I think I’ve started feeling baby move a little bit this week but it’s very faint so I’m not 100% certain yet. I’m currently 16 weeks, due 6/28.

I cleaned all the grout in my kitchen/laundry room at my old house with Tilex (which has bleach in it)—on my hands and knees scrubbing. (#masochist). It looked great but holy cow, so much work. My sister paid $99 and had her kitchen done this fall. Amazing. Never again will I scrub.

Oh good we're talking tiles. I have textured tiles in my en suite bathroom, I need to scrub then seal them. I'm going to pick up some Tilex, thanks for the rec flamingo . Is there a certain brush I should be using, should i spray and let it sit for a couple minutes? Give me all the tips.

Happy Friday, friends! I don't have my student with me today and we ordered out for lunch. So... good day over here! Ready for the weekend. We're supposed to get hit with a lot of snow tomorrow so I'm excited to get the kids out in it!

And hell no to doing an entire kitchen by myself.

Spray, let sit for a few minutes, then scrub, then mop with water (if it’s in the shower, I just turn it on and rinse that way). It can be fume-y, just a heads up.

Some of the best money I’ve spent was that Melissa and Doug Sweep, Dust, Mop set. The kids all randomly grab an implement and start cleaning. Last week, X did a great job at sweeping out the laundry room area (Pipsqueak’s fur is OOC). He did better than I can since he is able to get beside the washer and dryer.

Also, good morning!
B is off to school and I played outside with C afterwards for about a half hour (well, she played—I found a sunny patch to stand in and shivered 🥶)
DH is bringing home lunch at some point so I am excited about that. Nothing big on the agenda today, I should probably go fold some clean laundry.

Although I love the color of my tile and grout, I didn't choose very wisely. Between the kids and the dogs, the grout gets dirty quickly. Next time I will definitely go light on the walls and darker on the tile. My current grout is a very light grey, almost whitish.

Hi! Just at home today chasing my little tornado and cleaning up her messes. School was canceled because of freezing rain and ice. This is the latest mess...it’s what happens when you leave a soda unattended in her presence. I’m not sure if I should be mad about the mess (because it’s also on the couch and throw blanket) or proud of her motor planning skills for pouring it so well in the snack cup. 😂

Sorry about your grandfather mamabear. Even when you know it's going to happen, it's still hard. Hugs. Personally, I wouldn't take Evie to the viewing. I don't think she would understand it and would talk non-stop. For her, it just wouldn't be appropriate, although I know many other 6 year olds would handle it fine. I'd use your judgement for how you think he will do, but talk to him about it prior.
