It’s supposed to be unseasonably warm but damp, so maybe we’ll get a little outside time with the kids.
We’re trying this new Greek place tonight’s. I want all of their appetizers. Don’t know if we’ll order in or head out.

Poured all night and is supposed to continue all day here. Expecting flooding and lots of ice. MH is supposed to go out for a guys night but we'll see if that happens!

A took the boys to an all day tractor pull with his dad. So it's just a Mallory day for me ❤ my moms friend rescues cats (she has 25) and we're going up later to see her newest. wedding klong11 he's a Maine coon and his paw is as big as her palm. He's huge! I'll send you pictures.

Then out for dinner. Idk what I'm doing until then.

We’re going on a nature walk from 10-12 with Mara’s kindergarten teacher. It was a social fundraiser item I the auction last year. It’s 55 and I’m going to freeze.

I gave H melatonin last night. He slept till 5:30. I took him back to his room and he fell back asleep. Then M cam in at 6 because she peed in the bed. I changed the sheets but she wasn’t tired anymore.

H went looking for me and MH brought him to me. Then he went back to sleep. Wtf?

Morning! We to my in-laws for coffee and New Years wishes. We wanted to go to ikea, but ds reminded me that I promised him we’d build a tent in the living room and watch a movie, so that’s what we’re doing in stead. Got some nice appetisers for dinner tonight, can’t wait.

Morning! Just sitting on the sofa with coffee. It iced here last night, just a glaze. It's now snowing and will continue through afternoon, they're predicting up to 6". So I am not leaving my house.

He's back is bothering him. He went to the chiro last Saturday for it. Then left work Thursday and went back. Said it felt better, but he was so bad last night, he had me get his walker out of storage. Hes still in bed.

You MUST take pics! Max was big but my old coworker adopted one that was massive. 34# and very tall. It was amazing!

It’s almost 60 here so we are going to take advantage and be outside all day. It’s funny how that is freezing to you tgrimes and I’m planning to wear a light jacket 🙂

Tonight is date night so we are going to an Italian restaurant in Providence’s Italy area. I’m excited for some good food and to dress up a little.

Morning! Yesterday was crazy busy at work and at home.

Funny story, my professor posted on the questions for professor board

“Hey kids, I just realized I didn’t update the syllabus. The last 2 weeks we were off. My bad!”

So I could have had time off at Christmas. I’m a little annoyed but I’m still moving forward. I got the work done so I’m finishing and then getting two weeks off.

Hello from the freezer.

We all slept so good last night, I think we needed it after a tiring week. It’s cold here and I would like to not go anywhere but B’s got soccer at 11am, so we’ll head there and then back home for the day.

The World Junior’s hockey tournament is here next year, my neighbours and us put our names in for a priority draw and I was the only one chosen!! I’ve got my timing to buy tickets for Tuesday, so I dont have the tickets in hand but as long as I buy right away they’re ours, I’m so excited!! It’s 8 games total with guaranteed 2 Canada games, a Boxing day and NYE games AND the bronze medal game. Woo Hoo!!

kim22 I know your DS loves hockey, you should make a trip here for some games, a meet up and a pic with the Wayne Gretzky statue of course!

DH had a flight this morning so the kids and I are hanging at home. I’m still in my pjs and robe, I should probably get motivated.

There is a house coming available in our target neighborhood so my mom and sister are going to see it tmrw. I think it has potential but am keeping expectations low since we haven’t seen any houses. The owners are relocating and wanted to try selling privately before listing it on MLS next month. We have a realtor and I’m not interested in cutting her out, so I’m not even sure how that would work out. Anyway, I need to make a list of things I have questions about so my mom can take notes, ha.

Morning. I ended up going over to my friend’s house to help her unpack for a few hours after supper last night. Their house is still a little bit under construction and needs a deep clean but at least she got her kitchen unpacked and some stuff for the bedroom. DH and the girls left an hour ago. He took H to MIL so they can work on the scrapbook she got for Christmas and then DH and S are going grocery shopping. I really have nothing else planned for the day until supper time, MIL invited us over to eat. I hope she’s making something good and not dry meat.

vino that trip is definitely on our list. My poor H found out on his way home from Vegas that he has to go to Palm Springs next month and possibly Hawaii in March. I should have not returned to work so I could go with him.

Morning. I woke up to thunder so loud it shook the house. Bad storms making their way through this AM. M asked to go see Frozen 2, so we may do that this afternoon. M2 has become taken with the first movie and loves Let it Go. I keep wondering if he picked it up from the one show we saw at Disney. One day he just started belting it out and I have no idea where he got it from. We never watched the movie at home. I need to ask his teacher if they have played the movie or song at school. This will be his first movie so I hope he does well.

I'm with wedding, tgrimes. It was about 50 when we finished our run and we all joked about turning off our phones and just spending the day there at the beach.

I am NOT ready for my trip to the Arctic, err, Calgary tomorrow.

I think I just jump in. The one I’m doing has a lot of participants (it’s a fundraiser for the Special Olympics) so I’m just hoping I don’t get trampled.

No thank you to a polar plunge, they do them in our town in Maine and it looks...painful. you’re a better woman than me kim22! 😂

lahdeedah enjoy the movie and good luck! C is constantly singing stuff I have no clue how she learned (it’s all age-appropriate, but stuff we haven’t played at home). She also knows Christmas carols backwards and forwards that even I don’t know the words to. Bradley was not much of a singer at this age so I get a kick out of listening to her.
