I am so tired I can barely deal. I haven't been sleeping well for a while, then 2 nights ago S was up sick. Last night I took a decongestant b/c I've had this cough I think is from congestion and my ears are so clogged I can barely deal. Anyway, apparently one of the less common side effects is insomnia. Guess who didn't sleep more than a few 20 minute stretches last night... This girl!!! I can't take decongestants later than 6pm. I use 4-6hr sudafed. Any later than 6 I can't sleep. I hope you can get some rest tonight!

Oh, jewels that sounds awful. Enjoy the bed all to yourself, vino. How much contact do you typically have with YH when he is deployed?

guster Well since he's at camp and not in a combat situation this will be an easy tour, he works during the day and although he will be busy he's able to check in. He has skype and we chat via that, we are right now actually, lol. There is a 9 hour time difference so he's about to head to bed and I've just finished lunch.

tgrimes Zarbees Sleep comes in either the 1 mg chewable (tiny and practically desolves) or a 1mg gummy. I liked the chewable to start because I would cut it in half with a pill splitter and was able to start at a half a mg to see the effect. It hits people different. He is 54# and has been on it consistently for two years and he just went up to 2mgs. I could swallow a whole bottle of melatonin and it will have no effect. I think the most I’ve taken is 25mgs. So I would suggest the tablets and cut them. You can get a pill splitter for a couple of dollars at the pharmacy or amazon. Amazon also has the best price on Zarbees. When I’ve forgotten it while traveling and had to pay at the store, even Target, it’s twice as much or half the product.

I hate when people come in sick. But I also hate that a lot of jobs in the US don’t offer adequate sick time or have a culture where it isn’t ok to take unless your dying. When I worked at the vet clinic I had 24hrs per year of sick time. I worked ten hour days so I had less than 2.5 days a year. I went to work sick many times since my vacation time sucked too. I hope you don’t get sick klong11.

We went to a matinees today at work. Our Chief Judge wanted us all to see Just Mercy and the Court paid. The movie was really great and Michael B Jordan wasn’t hard to look at😘 A nice way to start the weekend.
Now I’m sitting in my care outside of after care trying to summon the energy to start my parenting job.

Piggybacking off this...wedding is right on how it affects everyone differently. S gets really weepy and cries with melatonin. Just for a minute...but it’s so sad. She doesn’t do that on nights I don’t give it to her.

Hello! I'm catching up. I have a student at work so it's been busy with no time to check in here!

Also, my younger cousin is pregnant and her registries are unreal. $550 rug for nursery, $200 bottle sterilizer, $300 nursery light, $1200 dresser, $800 glider, $55 eight piece infant silverware and so on and so on. I'm a bit jealous because she can put all these extravagant things on and whatever she doesn't get she (or her dad) have the means to buy. It has me dreaming of decorating my house with no budget lol.
She has plenty on reasonably priced practical items as well so totally fine, I'm just over here drooling!

Hey. H had another sleepover with her neighbor friend last night. I took S to school and then went to aldi for some groceries. Then I picked H up and we ran to the mall. Our motherhood maternity store is closing, although their deals aren’t super great yet. We didn’t do much this afternoon. I’m currently waiting at papa Johns to pick up supper, they are hopping tonight.

I’m kinda judging the expensive bottle sterilizer. Like wut? You can stick them in the dishwasher, boil them in water, or buy the medals steamer microwave bags for $8. Also I do t think I’ve ever seen infant silverware.

Also I do t think I’ve ever seen infant silverware. I judged the shit out of my SIL’s expensive registry. Judge away. My UO on a Friday is that just because you can afford the most expensive item, doesn’t always mean it’s the best item. Same goes for wine. I’ve had some expensive wine that wasn’t as good as less expensive bottles.

I mean, I don't really judge other than thinking "you so don't need that", more just can't imagine that being my life lol. We are fortunate to have nice things and were able to buy everything we need for our kids but we definitely don't live the life where we can afford to just buy everything we want! I kinda want to live that life.

This has been the longest week in a long time. MH is home and I volunteered to do sports tonight. T is at my nephew’s birthday party 45 minutes away with my parents, I’m waiting to pick DD up at gymnastics then I’m dropping her home and going back to hockey until 10:30 tonight. I’m brought my laptop and I’m hoping to do school work because I didn’t get a single thing done while MH was away. We actually have no other plans until 4pm Sunday so we may head to the beach. It’s supposed to be in the 60’s and I could use a nice cocktail on the beach after this week.

I have the kid plastic, but infant silverware made me think of the real stuff, not the plastic untensils. Lol

What a long day... We took the boys out to dinner but got a late start, so we waited for quite a while for our food and got home pretty late. They behaved okay - Col had the toughest time because he was tired and hungry from the jump. We got through it though.
Our 2019 Shutterfly book was delivered today! It's my own version of Christmas, I get so excited. This is our 6th book and I looove them all.
