M asked me for 3 picture frames because he drew flowers for 3 of his friends and wants to give them to them. But I'm afraid he'll be made fun of in class for it.... would you let your kid do this?

Evie has colored pictures for certain friends in her class and I let her give them to them. She has also received pictures back occasionally. I don't know that I'd do a frame, but I think it's fine for him to give the pictures to his friends.

He sits at a table with 3 girls and they've gotten very close lol.

I'd let him do it, but I'd just be worried about a picture frame with glass at school. Could he make his own frame?

He could make paper frames, or just mount the pictures on construction paper.
Popsicle stick frames are good to.
Cadence and her friends are always drawing pictures for each other. My only concern was when she was writing "I love you" on them. I didn't want the other parents to freak out. I don't know.

peachsmama ds has sometimes made or send a card to his friends. So I’d let him, but maybe hand them out at the end of the day outside class, so that other kids won’t feel left out.

Our compromise: He's so tender hearted I just worry about other kids picking on him. When he told the one girl he loved her, she told her friends (excitedly) but some other kids laughed and he came home crying 😭  |

Apparently S wrote a note to his new Bestie and wrote "I love you R" on it. The mom took a pic and sent it to me. These kids are funny. |

I agree klong11 but I figure if they have an issue, it's just that... their issue. Our kids are sweet and pure and just full of love. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over someone else feeling a certain way about it. |
