Dance is still on winter break, so no place to rush off to this morning. Josie has a hair cut at noon and then we need a Home Depot run to get a hinge for a cabinet door that’s wonky, plus some command strips to hang a few things in the kids’room.

Dh had an early flight so he headed out around 7. I really need to start taking the tree down--I slacked yesterday. Depending on what time he gets home we might take the kiddos out to lunch, and I'd like to make a Target run at some point.

The mom of B's best bud texted me last night with info about spring tball. Apparently there is a different, less...intense league (than what we participated in last time) that her son plays in, and her H coaches. I mentioned it to B and he is all in, but man I really hated baseball. LOL. But I will suck it up and live the tball life again

Morning. We’re at the indoor playground again. I hate these kind of places, so many sounds, colours, music, lights.... but the kids love it, and today is their party. Heading to the pool after this & then fries and chicken tenders for dinner .

Good morning. The little boys slept until 8:15 today, which was amazing. I’m up with them and everyone else is still sleeping. DS has a game 1.5 hours away late this afternoon, followed by a local game at 9:40 pm tonight so he and DH will leave like 2:30 and not be home until the rest of us are sleeping. T has a birthday party. I’m taking him but then leaving early to be home with the others when the big guys leave so he’s coming home with a friend.
Tomorrow DD has a gymnastics competition. The app shows 79 girls in her session. It’s usually about 50 so tomorrow is going to take forever.
Tuesday DH leaves for the rest of the week. Poor guy has to go to Vegas.

G'mornin! I am at work. It's been fairly quiet so far. I randomly started having heartburn earlier, which sucked because I don't have anything with me and the drugstore down the hall doesn't open until 9. I guess I'm going to need to start carrying meds with me in my purse. After work today we are going to a friend's kid's bday party. Last night we took down all the decor off the tree and it's currently in pieces on my living room floor. I hope DH gets it all put away before I get home.

I only have 2 things left on my organizing to-do list do I’ll be finishing those up today. I probably need to take the kids to the park or something to get them out of the house.

MH is cleaning out the garage...again. Basically this means he’ll get sidetracked 5884327 times and it won’t get done.

Ha, thanks! At least this league only has 1 game and 1 practice per week...last time there were typically 2 games and 1-2 practices. Just too much for my taste.

And yes, she and her H are super nice. They have a daughter C's age and they live just a couple streets away. B/n the kids being pals and just general compatibility, I could see us getting to be good friends with them if we were going to be here much longer

Morning ladies! We are going to my brothers for a late lunch today to celebrate Christmas with my dad and step mom. Tonight we might go to a neighbors for dinner and envelope stuffing our HOA due letters. I'd like to go spend a gift card, if I have time.

trtlcrzy when I was pregnant, I had the worst heartburn ever, like it woke me up at night bad. I ate papaya enzyme like candy and it helped quickly and I didnt worry about the excess calcium.

My fucking period is still nonexistent so I may grab another pregnancy test today, to put my mind at ease.

I have had heartburn the last 2 times and usually zantac kicks it quickly. Although in the past it hasn't started up this early in the pregnancy. Yay getting older. Let us know the results of the test ASAP!

I got to do yoga yesterday for the first time in forever because of my elbow. Which was fine during my workout, so let’s hope that holds. My right knee did make tearing sounds each time I was in malasana though.

Dude has a birthday party today, so I will pick
him up from Pete’s so he can attend.

X has been calling me “Honey” lately, because he repeats what I say to him, and it’s adorable.

I’m more excited than I should be about trying a new carrot ginger soup recipe tonight. Tomorrow I am meeting my sisters to watch “Little Women.”

My friend borrowed my extra car seat because she had family visiting from Switzerland for the holidays and they had a baby. She returned it with a bag she said was chocolate from her relatives as a thank you. I just opened the bag. I expected a box of chocolate. It is 8 full size bars and 4 small gift bags full of Swiss chocolate. Goodbye diet!

We went to the aquarium first thing this morning. My mom got us passes for Christmas and I wanted A to be there for MJ's first time. She loved it of course. We had lunch after and then stopped at Marshall to do a return which I promptly spent. Oops.

Morning! I have finished my homework for the week and will start next weeks assignments. I’ve started working on laundry and started a load of dishes.

C took E with him to Costco before work so that’s one thing done. Kids and I are eating lunch and then nap time. I can’t wait for it.

Hello from the soccer stands. The kids had fun at Baba’s and were exhausted when they got home, bed early and slept until 8am. It was my intention to wake them up early to get ready for the Monday shock of 6:30am wake up, but I guess there’s always tomorrow 🤷‍♀️

MH is at home and there’s another guy coming to give us a quote for the kitchen refacing, it’s nice to get all these quotes together so we can make a house reno plan for the next year or so.

Happy weekend! We have guests this weekend. Took one of them out to breakfast and having a quiet afternoon now while the guys play poker.

Madison has been Legoing for days and almost has her Simpsons house complete. It's over 2500 pieces so I thought it would take her longer. Cass has been alternating between being her cheerleader and helping me with a puzzle.

Hiii! I had running group and then took Chase to the library while DH took Col to a birthday party. I was a bit jealous because he hung out with Col's besties' Mom and I have a girl crush on her, but as usual, Chase's friend A showed up at the library and her Mom is really nice too.

I took down the tree and put away all the decorations. It's nice to have the space again but the room looks so bare!

We had Christmas with my mom, brother, and nephews today. I'm glad Cadence is back, the noise level is higher, but our house just doesn't feel right without her.
We got home, then promptly left again for swim class. Got there and they were still closed for the holiday. Oops, guess they start back NEXT week.
Cadence is ecstatic to have little Dickens here. She picked him up and immediately started purring. I swear he hasn't stopped purring since we picked him up.

More then halfway through laundry. The nanny kept changing E’s clothes for some reason. I also started 2 assignments for next week. E also broke two more ornaments. I meal planned for the week and will go grocery shopping tomorrow. I’m hoping to clean the house tomorrow. Christmas tree can’t come down until after Little Christmas which is Monday.

Cadence won't go to sleep. She says she misses grandma and isn't used to our house any more. So I let her video call her. It didn't help. So I did a late night dose of melatonin and hopefully it kicks in soon.
