Nice! I’ve always wanted Asics but they don’t work for my feet, sadly.

Nice! I’ve always wanted Asics but they don’t work for my feet, sadly. They’re a little heavier than most, but when the trails reopen they’re more suited for that

2.25 miles to kick off May. Half on the treadmill then half outside because my 2.5 year old was being a peach while I was on the tread, so I dumped her on H and went outside.
Ended April with 78.6 miles. Normally I would have fought to get up to 80 but pregnant me just didn't have it in me.

I finished April with 28.5 miles. Not too shabby my first month back eh? Now to keep up the momentum.

3 on the trail Saturday morning and 1.5 around my neighborhood as test run in my new brooks (adrenaline). It was actually 1.75, but I didn't realize that I hadn't started my watch until after that first .25 mile.

6 miles on the trail this afternoon. It’s getting up to nearly 90 and I am a heavy sweater, I lost over 2 lbs, even though I used my hydration vest. Crazy!

I've been chugging along. We signed up for peleton for the free 90 day trial so I tried our a treadmill workout today. It was 30 minutes of a lot of speed burst intervals and progression runs. Picked up 3.25 miles and really enjoyed doing something different.

3.5 miles in the neighborhood with my new shoes last night and a 5k on the local cross country trail.
There was a snake crossing the trail (maybe 4 ft long)- some walkers warned me, which was good bc it was in some shade part and I was wearing sunglasses, I probably would have come close to stepping on the poor thing if I wasn’t looking for it. I warned another running as he was passing me (this was about 2/10 of a mile from it) and omg I’ve never seen a man jump so high in my life!

Still running daily. Very much enjoying peleton right now. My legs have been feeling sore and heavy and I can shake it, so sticking to the treadmill, even with the weather getting nicer, is helpful. I'm glad to have a new distraction that will (postpartum) improve my running.

9km this morning with the mom of one of DD’s friends. She is a little faster than I am so good for me to push myself a bit. Going to see if I can run with her maybe once a week.

cnf you are such an inspiration! Thank you, you're very sweet! I just love to run and workout. And right now being under quarantine, it's keeping me sane and making me feel semi normal. My SI joints are starting to have more issues though, so after this month I really need to back off.

A friend and I were supposed to do a half marathon in the middle of June which, of course, got cancelled. She is now busy planning a HM route, roping in friends to have water point at their houses, so we can still do our “race”.

Also, I had another race cancel today and one postponed 😕 That stinks, I'm so sorry. I had such grand plans of doing all the 5ks while pregnant this spring and summer. Of course now I won't get to race again until next spring. I'm so bummed.

I did a meandering 4 miles last night, to explore the new area. It was a really good run, the type where I could have just kept going (aside from it being after 9pm by the time I got home lol).

An easy 5 miles on the treadmill thanks to gorgeous weather, cooperative kids and a sleepy baby.

3 miles today. I was excited my time was dropping but I think it was the GPS on the watch app compared to MapMyRun. Wahh.

5k on the treadmill today. I'd like to get outside this week now that it seems we might finally have a stretch of decent weather.
