What's on your agenda for today?

Both kids head back to school here so I am h-a-p-p-y. We've had fun but they're ready.

DH has the day off so after B leaves we're going to Home Depot just to browse random house stuff--something we can NOT do with the kids. We also want to grab lunch at Shake Shack, which recently opened here. I've never been to one but ppl we know who have eaten at them in DC/NY/etc. love it so we shall see.

Morning. For the past few weeks DH has been taking H to the bus stop because he had a later start but apparently that’s done and now I have to walk with her today, lame. It’s been nice not having to bundle up and stand in the cold. The only thing on my have-to-do list for today is get S registered for preschool for next year. The way they do it is such a pain in the butt but at least it’s only once a year and I will have a break from doing it after this year. Then tonight I have to go to work, which I am happy to do.

Morning ladies! I'm back at work, not happy about it. Although I need the normal routine. Off to catch up on everything I missed the last 2 weeks!

Morning. We rented skelters for the kids this morning, ds had a blast, Dd was ambivalent at best . Of to the pool in a bit, not much else on today’s agenda.

Morning. MH left a bit ago to take the kids to daycare. M is actually at after school all day.

I was supposed to work today, but the guy I was working for asked me if it was ok that he have his day back. He had planned to go hunting, but it’s raining and nasty out, so he cancelled. I was ok with it since it was the day both kids are out of the house.

I have big plans of purging, a mid day work out, and a few errands. I’m enjoying my coffee in silence at the moment.

I'm glad we have a few more days of vacation. I'm not ready for reality yet.

I was going to take the kids to a snow park but it turns out there's hardly any snow. Maddie will probably engross herself with Legos again. I'm working on a puzzle. Skating might be in the mix.

Hi from the office - the glorious office where no massively off-schedule child-beasts can be found. DH was probably skipping up the driveway after the bus picked Col up this morning. I know I was pretty excited to drop Chase off, haha.

This morning was day 4 of running by heart rate and it was my longest run so far, and the first outdoors one with hills and cold (one of my asthma triggers). It was really discouraging how slowly I had to go in order to keep my HR in the right range, but some of my running friends have been grat about encouraging me and pointing out how this method aligns to how Kenyans train. Too bad I'm not a Kenyan! LOL.

My Dad's appointment is in another hour and I'm hoping they call me immediately after.

Other than that, I have a dentist appointment this afternoon and that's really about it. Glad to be back to normal, equally glad the normal only lasts 2 days before another weekend.

Two of the four of us back to the routine. Thankfully it went well. I purged the kitchen cabinets and the shelves in the garage this morning. Our thrift store will have a healthy dose of counter appliances come tomorrow morning.

Hi hi - I went to bed feeling awful, my stomach wasn't feeling great, but I think it was from trying some of the culturelle probiotic with fiber that I gave the kids. I feel okay today. Mh is home with a snotty K, and the big kids are at school, thank God. I also managed to knock over my coffee cup and dump it all over the passenger seat, so it was a bumpy start. Otherwise it's lovely at the office, super quiet.

C was up before 5am. Not sure how much before. I just heard the tv when dh got up at 5. He was ridiculously hyper this morning and pretty annoying tbh. I almost messaged his teacher “good luck!”

I have flex time I won’t be able to use tomorrow so I may leave early today and get him home so he can play outside since it’s sunny. All depends on if I get a piece of paper back from a judge in time 😐 I hate waiting for others.

Morning, from the office!

My Mom took the kids and we didnt have much going on so I came to work. Apparently J is insisting that she isnt sleeping over at Baba's so I'll go and get her after dinner. MH's anxiety has ramped up since he leaves in 6 days, he'll repack his kit 145456184954 times then complain about not having enough information when he's got all the information available. I've got a couple more areas in the house to deep clean before he leaves in case I need his help, otherwise we're ready for it.

No, no motor .

They're called KetCars. Or at least that's a brand name of them. My girls love them too. My parents have one and my grandparents had one when I was little.

I ended up at the Pier One near me that is closing. So much I want, but I only left with some Christmas stuff for next year and some outdoor pillows. I’ll probably be back weekly checking on the other items I want and hoping no one else buys it before the price is right for me- Lol.
