Husband: I got him massage/facial certificates. He already promptly cashed in on a facial. He's also in love with the cheese grater I gave him...because it's great.  Girls: Both are loving the Nintendo stuff (Cass has been playing an equestrian game on the Switch and Maddie has been playing Cuphead on Switch and Luigi's Mansion) and their knock-off American Girl dolls. Madison named hers Bethany and Cass named hers Darlene.  Me: Switch, cozy new sweatshirt and sweater. ETA: Worst--LOL big case from Costco. The girls each got one for their birthdays and between my mom and me got 3 each for Christmas. Those piece of shit sets all have the exact same dolls and accessories in them. Luckily I found that out before they each opened their last one which will be returned to the store. Gives me more reason to dislike those effing dolls. |

Dh: new Leon Bridges record Kids: ds wooden okapi & watch with bats and baseballs. Dd; silver ladybug ring & a ballet leotard/tutu Me; the necklace my h gave, I’m in love with it  Worst? A superman colouring book & markers, not terrible, but just not something ds has any interest in 🤷🏼♀️ |

For me I love the pjs A lot me. And he got me a beautiful Christmas serving plate. And the pressure washer from my parents. Can't wait to clean everything this spring lol. Not necessarily hate, but my in laws have gotten me snow globes the last 2 years. Very expensive snow globes. And I have a lot but only because my grandma always got them for me. Not because I love them.. probably bad but I look up what they spent and lord what I could spent that money on. A loved the bourbon of course and the straight razor I got him. Boys loved mostly everything but got a little upset about the clothes and books and not more toys lol. But they love the air hockey table, giant combine for J and M's imaginext dinosaur. MJ loved the tissue and wrapping paper lol. And this toy controller because it lights up.  |

We are still opening gifts here since it’s still hannukah but so far favorites are: S- some coding robot I bought at the last minute on a whim. (Botley) and all the beyblade crap and some Pokémon books that he can read himself B - a giant stuffed shark that’s bigger than him (not from me) and the Melissa and Doug pizza set and RC from toy story Me - my shirt from chrisy01 😝 |

I put 1/2 of their gifts in the closet to bring out later in the year. So far they both love this remote control car. MH bought me a necklace from Tiffany’s. I don’t like it. I guess I should be happy it’s not a lazy Susan but it’s not something I’m ever going to wear. I’m debating on wether to tell him so I can return it and then spend that money in stuff I actually want.

M2 loves his fur real walkabout dog.
M likes pretty much all the toys. The knockoff hot wheels “garage” I got at Sams, the tabletop air hockey, tackle dummy. He’s been begging to build the lego police station, but I didn’t want to get in to it with M2 at home all day and before we left for our trip.
MH likes the Nike cold weather gloves I got him.
I..... like my car. Lol.

Lo loves the scepter of light that Santa got him. He also loves the toys e got. E’s favorite is the bouncing bee and her shopping cart. C loved the bourbon I got him and the game the kids got him I love the muffin things I got from klong11. It was the only Christmas gift I didn’t know I was getting. I really dislike the electric bongo set l got from my aunt P. She also got two plates for me and C that are going to be donated to charity. Lo’s gift we will keep because he likes it. It will probably disappear soon. |

Well I literally got no gifts. Well my mom says she's getting us a deep freezer, so I guess that's my favorite. Next year we will do gifts for everyone to model it for kids and I miss opening gifts a bit😔.
J loves the racetrack N got, N loves that too and the lil woodzeez camper. He also likes his dog man books, the Lego set, and is interested in his bike although clearly needs the lessons after his first try yesterday. The light bright is a hit too.
Busts: we haven't gotten through everything yet. But j did say he was sad because he forgot to put an iPad on his Santa list 😂

The worst gifts are all the clothes MIL gets for C and doesn’t provide a gift receipt. She got him dress shoes, button down shirts, and four pairs of pjs. When she asked for sizes I said he was all set with shoes and he doesn’t wear pjs anymore. He also never wears button downs. So I have to return everything and get whatever the price is now on merchandise credit at Macy’s. I have to do this every year with her. I literally just spent last years credit. Anyway, it’s nice she gets all of this stuff but why bother asking if you’re going to ignore what I say.
C loves all of his gifts and wants to show them off. He’s dying to go to karate to use his new gear bag.
Dh got me a neck massager but not the one I asked for despite texting the amazon link. The one he got has been returned already to Walmart and my amazon one is on the way. He tried.

Aww that made me sad. tallb I also didn’t get anything. Well from MH. I bought myself a book and a small pretty initial notebook from Anthropologie to put in my stocking. I also told him not to get me anything because I’m feeling guilty about purchases over the past two months. It’s really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I don’t think I’ve ever spent so much in a short amount of time and it’s giving me anxiety. I worked in my original dept today and our newest nurse gave me a gift bag with a small planner, truffles, and Burt’s bees cuticle cream. I thought that was so sweet and made my day. It reminded me that it is nice to get something unexpected and useful. |

tgrimes I was desperate for new bras and MH got me 3 that actually fit and are practical. Usually if he buys bras, they are sexy ones I never actually end up wearing. I have never had Tiffany’s jewelry but I’m planning on getting myself a necklace because AMEX gifted me $250 to Tiffany’s. The catch is it has to be used in a store in NYC so I have to send my H to get it. I found what I want though, it’s four interlocking hearts which I picked because of my 4 kids and it’s exactly $250.

My favorite thing is my nespresso. I made an iced caramel macchiato and it tasted just like Starbucks!
H: I think her favorite has been her barbie camper. She’s been playing with it a ton
S: Elsa barbie, but really she loves everything.
I can’t think of anything that was really a fail this year.
