Christmas Eve Day

Kids will be up soon. Then we will get ready and head to San Diego for my aunts for my family’s Christmas 🎄

I’ve packed the kids pajamas so we can change them there and not worry about it when we get home. It’s about a 2 1/2 -3 hour drive so it will be a late night for them.

Morning! I dropped Chase off at daycare for a few hours and I'm cuddled on the couch with Colin. DH is taking him to the gym in about 15 minutes and I'll get started cooking then. Right now I'm good.

Morning. I’m at the office and not in the mood. I ordered a lot of sushi for tonight and looking forward to getting out on the couch and drinking all the wine. I’m really hoping I’ll get my period soon, because that will mean my cycle has returned to normal and I can move forward. Anecdotes about how long it was before things returned to normal are welcome. Hope you have a great Christmas Eve. I really feel lucky to have our little community.

nam2013 After my first loss it was 4-5 months because I continued to bleed for 3 months. The 2nd time it was about 2 months.

nam2013 I had a loss mid-July, got a period last week of September, then was pregnant by Halloween. Hope it all works that well for you.

Merry Christmas Eve ladies! Today is the main celebration with my family. They'll come over to my parents tonight and then we'll drive home late so we can have Christmas day at our own house.

I was a baking fool yesterday and today need to visit my grandma and decorate cookies.

Merry Christmas Eve! MH is at work and the kids and I just made two different kinds of cookies. We head to my in-laws this afternoon to celebrate with them. Hoping L gets it together because she woke up too early and is a whiny mess, I've already called Santa twice.

I got up early with the 2 little boys and we made my grandma’s Christmas cookie recipe. Now DH is at Costco getting the rest of what we need for tomorrow. Tonight we go to my parents. My mom got it catered this year. I will make some sort of dessert before I go.

I almost tried to go to the mall for Santa but I didn’t. My neighbor does Santa for the school, maybe will ask him to do a post-Christmas Santa shoot for me.

Merry Christmas Eve! We had a nice visit in SC and came down to FL yesterday, so nice being back in more mild temps 🙌🏻

My mom and I have a couple errands to run, then we’re heading over for dinner at my sister’s tonight. BIL is on call tmrw so we are doing a mini-X-Mas so he can celebrate.

I am at work for a few hours. Dropped B off at DC and have S with me who is sitting quietly and coloring. He is such a pleasure to be around, when he wants to be.

I'll leave here around 2-2:30 to head home and pick up B. Our company is coming at 4:30 so that doesn't give me too much time. MH has an MRI this morning then gets 2 cavities filled. Sounds like a fun day for him!

Merry Christmas Eve! Mh has work since he's used so much leave for k, so I have all 3 and it's going okay so far. We finished our peanut butter blossoms and the pumpkin pie pie is in the oven. K was a saint and fell asleep by herself for maybe the first time ever. The real test is somehow getting us all dressed and ready for santa at 4 and then having appetizers at my dad's new condo and then going to Brio for dinner (random but they don't have a dining table yet). There is a Target there so will do a Target pickup order for last minute stocking stuffers. Mh has to pickup the bike that was delivered and assembled to my mom's.

We’re just hanging out today until about 2ish then heading to my Mom’s for dinner and our gift exchange! The kids slept until 8am, so FX they’re in good moods for the day.

After they’re down I’m hoping to head to church, I love Christmas eve mass so much, maybe I’ll even try to stay up until midnight mass.

A lot of people brought their kids in today so it's cute watching them all interact. S is going to think work is all fun... it's not always like this kiddo!!

nam2013 My loss happened at Thanksgiving, Oct 12th to be exact, and I bled until NYE. I was awful and I’m sorry you’re going through this. Are you doing blood tests every couple week or so to make sure the numbers are going down? That helped me know when it was ‘over’, physically anyways.

Hi- we are just hanging out today. Gotta do some last minute shopping 😬 MH is going to make coquito to give for some gifts. He’s making the turkey for tomorrow & stuffed shells. All I’m making is a Brie cheese dessert 🤗 .... excellent since I don’t like to cook.

My cycle was pretty much back to normal a little less than two months after my loss, @nam. That was February. I was pregnant with Charlie by July.

vino my loss was nov. 26/27, I had an
U/S the next day, which showed an almost clean uterus, the bleeding stopped within days. I tested negative dec. 4th. So no additional tests/followups necessary. Physically I got of really easy. The us somehow actually helped me, i was clinging on to 1% hope that despite the bleeding things would be okay, and seeing the empty screen made room for grieve. I’m jumbling with my words, sorry.

Merry Christmas Eve. I’m out and about again. I decided to get up early and do some returns after getting my ham slices. The roads and stores really aren’t bad. I had time to kill before a place opened up so I went to Lowe’s. I need to keep out of home improvement stores because I want to buy all the things. I only left with paint cards. I need to start deciding on trim and wall paint for the common areas.

Not sure what is on the agenda for today once I get home. Playing it by ear. I still have to wrap all the boys’ gifts.

I was going to take the kids to the trampoline park because my SIL bought them memberships for Christmas, except they don’t open till 4. Now we’re at Monkey Joes again. Luckily I brought my jacket this time.

MH is home putting together M’s vanity & H’s scooter. Or he better be...

We’ll head to my in laws’ house for dinner after H’s nap. Prime rib, Brussels sprouts, some type of carrot/fennel/potato roast and lots of wine!

Happy Christmas Eve! DH is working and so far all we have gotten done is getting our cookies baked. I’m putting S down for her nap right now and when she wakes up we will decorate the cookies and the girls will be bathed. We may go to church with the ILs and then this evening we are going to MIL’s cousin’s house for food and singing Christmas carols.

nam2013 after the surgery to remove my ectopic I bled for like a week and then my period came pretty much at my normal time after that. My cycles are normally 33ish days and I think it might have been 35-6 days. I was told to wait a cycle to ttc after that and I was able to get pregnant the following cycle after that.
