Done with work for the next 2 days. Kringle was done by C. Just finished making Rice Krispie treats and chocolate chip cookie bars. C and L are making cookies for Santa now.

Back from dinner and lights. Do you guys have tree balls? They are so pretty! Balls of light dangling from all the tree branches.
Now we're watching the Grinch and mh and Cadence are having ice cream floats.

I need to bake up some cookies tonight and tomorrow it's piggies and meat pies. I *think* I will even have some downtime before my brother and his wife come over.

kim22 can I ask what the migraine medication is? I’m still trying to sort out my issues as well. MAXALT was the name. If she responds well, I want to try it for me too. I have taken Imitrex and it did nothing for me. She now has Zofran too because of the vomiting she gets with the headaches. Problem is I don’t want to send the MAXALT to school until she’s had it at home just in case she has a reaction.

The doctors office was terrible. For some reason S was super resistant to the idea and cried the entire way there and the whole time we were there. But of course, I was right and she has an EI. Target was insane, but luckily we were pretty in and out because most of the stuff I needed was in the fresh/frozen area so it was quick to grab. I told the girls we would make sugar cookies after supper...except I totally forgot to get the butter out earlier today so I finally got the dough made after they were in bed. I also prepped the spinach artichoke dip that is part of the app I’m bringing tomorrow night. I’m going to get in the bath shortly and then to bed after that.

DD’s cardiologist appointment showed she has turbulent blood flow between her heart and her lungs. The doctor said because the speed and size are normal, we just monitor and she will hopefully outgrow it. They heard her murmur today too. She cleared her for the migraine meds though and gastro officially diagnosed abdominal migraines so now I have to get back in touch with the neurologist to get the prescription. I have also failed at having an equal number of gifts for each kid to open so I’m trying to find little things to even it out. The one I spent the most on has the least boxes and should be old enough to understand but he will feel sorry for himself anyway. I had one more gift for S than H and DH didn’t want me to get another one. I went over his head and got one anyway because I know the crying and moaning that would ensue if I didn’t.

wedding Fitbit says my period started today. Spoiler: it didn't. It's usually pretty good about it, like within a day. Other than that month I skipped entirely, but that ended up being due to a medication increase. ..... Which also caused all my other perimenopause symptoms. mwhip have you had any med changes recently? I'm on no medications, so no change there. And my husband got a call this afternoon that he doesnt need to come into work tomorrow, so I guess I'll do it when I shower tomorrow? I dont want to freak him out unnecessarily.

Just do it when you get up to pee in the morning. It will take like 3 min. Then wrap it in toilet paper and toss it. He never needs to know.

Hello, all! Just catching up. It’s been a busy few days with the beginning of the party season, Christmas get together on Saturday, yesterday we stayed in pyjamas all day and chilled.
This morning I took J to her very first movie, Frozen 2! She loved it and at one point was sitting in the same chair as her cousin, it was adorable. F2 was way better than the first; good story, good meaning, hilarious at parts, just an overall nice show.
This evening we were off to another party at a friend of mine from work, the kids do so well meeting other kids, listening and using their manners. I am loving the ages of both of them.

If I would have had myself together yesterday, I could have. #adultbetter2020 Hashtag of the new year. Or maybe the decade. Doing better than me. I waited too long and the spiral hand are long gone. Now the question is do I attempt one that's not precut or change my main dish... I have to go out first thing tomorrow to Honey Baked Ham to grab a pound of sliced ham for ham sliders on Hawaiian rolls. Doing those just for M. Let’s hope they are open and I beat the line!

M and I wrapped Mh’s gifts tonight. I also wrote out everything I had for the boys and had a brief moment of doubting that it was enough. It’s enough. I know They both will be happy with what they get and so it will be enough.

Mh was at whole foods and picked up a few Melissa and Doug toys to even things out for N..granted now we are lopsided in that he's getting a bike and several book/small things and her gifts look "bigger". This is exhausting! I'm gifting myself a book about simplicity parenting..the irony isn't lost on me😂🤦

I know They both will be happy with what they get and so it will be enough. We did the same a few night ago. And I’m constantly doubting myself. There is so much — I always completely overbuy, but it feels like I should have more or a better balance. Or I should have wrapped it differently so it looks more balanced.

Nope and nope tgrimes and chrisy01. sands42 history shows that it takes a while to get to me. I have no idea why, USPS must hate Canada 🤷♀️

I have Imitrex and I feel horrible when I take it. Super bad body aches so I haven’t found it to be helpful.
