It’s currently raining. I’m suppose to be getting ready for work. I have a large to do list for C today since he’s off work today but he has both kids so we shall see what gets done.

Morning ladies!
Christmas started here this weekend, the in laws came over Saturday. It was nice.
Today is my moms birthday so evie and I are taking her to lunch, then we are going to my brother's for dinner to celebrate more.
My period is 4 days late. The only time my period has been late, I was pregnant. I had my tubes tied 2 1/2 years ago and no scares since then, so my guess is I'm perimenopausal. Fucking awesome. But I guess I should take a test to confirm? I dont know...its stressing me out.

Morning! I'm home with the kids and MH is at work. We were supposed to have a cookie party yesterday but I cancelled because I was having some stomach issues and didn't want to chance spreading a stomach bug right before Christmas. So the kids and I are going to make cookies today!

Mj was up all night crying. She has a cold and handles it like her dad lol. So I'm exhausted. But I have to drive to Kentucky today to get A's last gift. A rare bourbon. I tracked it down with bils help and they're holding it for me. And I have laundry to do and gifts to wrap.

Morning.
Work for me today. MH will be taking M2 to daycare and hanging with M all day. I wonder if they will get anything done around the house. I have to finalize my grocery list and head to the store after work. I’m hoping it won’t be too crazy out.

Once you take the test and ease your mind, it will show up the very next day, or even the same evening. Or at least that's what I've experienced. |

I'm at work. I get to go to the mall when I get off. Joy. Then I need to go to Target to finish up everything, like stocking stuffers, etc.
I am less than enthused. Next year can someone remind me of this moment in like October, so I can get my shopping done early. I feel like I've really dropped the ball on making this an enjoyable holiday for Cadence. No wonder she's been hanging all over mh lately, he's the cool one right now.

I googled this morning, when I wasnt sleeping because I was stressed by it, perimenopause sounds like my life. Weird sleep, weight gain, hot flashes, weird periods. There are blood tests, but because our hormones constantly change, you have to do multiple, over a period of time. As long as I know I'm not pregnant, I'll probably just go with it and not bother with my doctor. |

Morning. S woke up with a 104 fever this morning. She’s been complaining of ear pain since Saturday so I’ve been waiting for this. She has an appt scheduled for this afternoon. I need to buy a couple last minute ingredients so I’ll just wait until I have to get meds and do it then. Target should be a madhouse.

Morning! Sorry I’ve been MIA. I got my period and I have a head cold that I just can’t shake so I’ve been going to bed early and working on errands and getting some baked goods done for Christmas during the day.
Today is finally the day where I have absolutely nothing going on! We’re all still in our pajamas and I don’t see that changing until we give the kids baths tonight.
We surprised the kids with a piano on Saturday, and I really enjoy listening to them experiment with the keys. I am going to look into lessons for Josie (and eventually Charlie) soon. Hoping we can find somebody to come to the house.

Morning. Went to the doctor’s this morning for Dd, as it turns out it is not eczema, but some sort of virus which looks like eczema. We got some cream and it should be better within a week 🤞🏻. Afterwards I met my friend for breakfast, which was really nice. The zoo was on the agenda for the rest of the day, it really is ds’s happy place, the weather was so mild for this time of year, it was lovely. My sister & BIL are flying in tonight, so i think I wil be stopping over at my parents for drinks tonight.

I'm sorry you're feeling that way klong11, but her Christmas would be downright depressing if it wasn't for you. She may not get that yet, but don't lose sight of it. Booooo tgrimes. That is all. I got the "look for signs of perimenopause" at my annual this year, mwhip. I'm actually looking forward to it because I'm so damn cold all the time, haha. I agree though that stress and everything else so inherent with this time of year can certainly impact your body in every possible way. |

Morning. I'm at work but mentally I'm long gone. Colin slept in so I didn't get to see him. I was a bit concerned because he can get very hurt if Chase and I are leaving and he hasn't gotten a good enough goodbye, but DH said that $5 from the tooth fairy, soft pants, and kids' shows more than made up for it. Ha, he's certainly the easier child.
I just realized that all my fudge and cookie dough are still in the freezer, so DH just got a frantic SOS text. Whoops.

I sent a text to my MIL to see how H did last night. Apparently at some point he crawled out of the pack n play and got into bed between them. Neither one of them realized it until around 6am when he was breathing funny from all of the snot. Lol.
