wedding I feel your pain. Every week I buy a bag of salad and that’s my work lunch for 3-4 days. Last weekend, we ate at my sister’s. Then we came home and I went to bed. DH ate my whole bag of salad and the one piece of chicken we had that was going to be C’s daycare lunch. If I make salad for dinner, he doesn’t touch it.

I finished 1 of 3 assignments. I’m working on the 2nd but I really don’t want to do the other two assignments. I’m starting to feel over this class.

I think that looks pretty darn good tgrimes! Well we are back at our air bnb after surviving the drive and dinner. The kids (well, mine anyway 😁) did so well—I literally couldn’t have asked for better behavior. I’m pretty sure if looks could kill, we’d all have keeled over from the glares the woman seated next to us sent our way, so I was proud of the kids for proving her wrong. But I’m good not taking them back there for a while 😂 |

Just came back from doing my errands. Of course a lot of people were out, but I needed to go today because we have bad weather headed our way. Overnight and all day tomorrow.
I managed to buy more stocking stuffers. Also my MIL called saying she was just going to send Mh money so I can buy them something from them. It would have been nice if she had done well before the weekend before Christmas. I’m out of ideas and need to go search for more gifts.
I need to get everything I have out to see if there is something that can just be from them.

lahdeedah I hear ya...I had a couple people ask me for ideas for B this week and I was basically 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Coming off a birthday AND having just had a party I was coming up blank. Previous vino! Love the sparkles.

During nap time I was able to get 3/4 of one of my assignments done. I need to finish writing it tomorrow and hopefully be able to record me presenting it before C leaves for work. I can’t record when I’m alone with the kids.
I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow. Pray for me. We did a drive up pickup at Target and it was a mad house.

The boys were horrible from the second they woke up and all evening. My mil is mad I put them to bed but I could not take it anymore. And lord. Normally I adore my mil but she is grating on my very last nerve. Her and sil too. Bil bought A one of those 'tortilla chip challenge' things. For him and A to do. Well sil threw a hissy fit that he didn't include her. So they split them. She threw up in my kitchen from it....... and during the whole thing, mil asked at least 46854 times "is it really that hot?" A got annoyed "no mom, We always cry when we eat tortilla chips"
I started my period this morning (yay- not pregnant) but I'm sure that's why I'm so pissy.

I put the boys to bed and now am trying to nurse Mallory to sleep. They're all playing marbles and my mil is being so fucking loud I told her to be quiet or leave. I think I need to put myself to bed 😬

Star Wars was really good. *
* this is coming from someone who didn't see any SW until I was in my 20s and am not particular about storylines and just like fun movies.
Took the girls to the humane society here. It's amazing. Someone left them $$$ when they passed and it's the nicest shelter I've ever seen. The girls fell in love with some kittens. I told them they've got to learn to keep their rooms clean.

After I got home from work I ended up taking a nap, which was longer than it should have been. Then after supper we drove around looking at lights. We decided to go down to this cool city park that does a huge display....along with everyone else in the tri state area. The line was super long to get in. Then the girls wanted to go up on the lookout tower...which would have been fine except the elevator was broken. I’m already out of breath as it is, going up and down like 8 flights of stairs was not ideal. Now I’m going to bed.

Morning! It was over 20 degrees this morning so I got my butt out of bed and ran outside. I've been so wimpy lately, I'm hoping running group yesterday got me back on track.
Nothing major to do today aside for some laundry, grocery shopping and probably a trip during nap for some stocking stuffers. I have wrapped pretty much everything and I'm in decent shape with food, but I'm incapable of relaxing during the holidays. I've accepted it.

H woke me up at midnight. He was incredibly snotty and couldn’t breathe very well. I got him to blow his nose a few times and used some saline. He had puddles of snot on his sheets. So gross.
Currently we’re watching the grinch because he got up at 5:45.

Morning. I'm at work, tired unsurprisingly. MIL invited us over for lunch today but I will be at work when they go over. She asked if I would come over after work and I really don't think I'm going to be in the mood so we will see. My coworker gave me some super yummy sugared pecans that I ate entirely too quickly.

Morning. We went to my grandma’s, she had some presents under the tree and the kids were delighted. I got some really nice chocolates for my grandpa & a plant for my grandma, they both loved it.
Ds dropped his snowglobe by accident, he was really sad, so I took him in to the city to try to find a new one, but no luck. The kids are in front of a movie & their soup is on. I’m not in the mood for soup, so I talked Dh in to getting indian take out. Pfff these last couple of weeks did a number on my weight... I just want all the food when I’m sad and/or stressed.
