I just texted everyone that we are just going to do tons of Apps. So now everyone is bringing their fav app and I think I 'll order a try of baked ziti and meatballs or something and call it a day. I originally wanted to do a traditional Hannukah type meal, but F That now. Honestly this sound delish. I was planning our app mini meals that we're going to nosh on throughout the Christmas Day with MH. Sometimes I like to cook and don't mind putting on a meal, but I don't enjoy doing it for my immediate family because the kids are jerks and wouldn't like most of what I cook anyway. This will be simple, yummy, and light so we don't feel like we gained 100 lbs when we're done. |

I got all the laundry folded and put away. I also made all the beds and I’m super annoyed. The comforter on my bed is down and all of the fluff has migrated to the edges. I need to wash it but drying it is a huge ordeal so I’m putting it off. For now I rotated it so the fullest part is at the head of the bed, hopefully it will help.

Throw it in the dryer for 20 mins on 'air' with a clean/new pair of shoes or tennis ball if you dont have wool balls. It should refresh it and even out. If not, then take off the cover, throw it around in your arms to fluff it, bunch it up and let it sit in a pile for the rest of the day, anything other than laying flat. This should actually be done once a month-ish. |

Appetizer parties are my favorite parties. +1 Hi! It’s been a busy morning at work, but it should be slow for the rest of the day. Leaving at two for a couple returns then to home to get ready for Mh’s Christmas party. I hope they will have good food. MH tells me the wife will cook once a week for the staff and most times it’s not great. 😩 |

Like, the fact that we have 3 littles in a very kid-unfriendly place will not phase her, even though the youngest one is hers. These are also the people that like to eat at 7:30, even with young kids involved. |

He agrees with me that it’s not a great plan, but since this is going down tmrw and it’s a holiday wknd he is trying to avoid it being a big to-do (and it would be). If the kids are really antsy we’re just going to have a drink and app, then leave and get something on our way back to our air bnb. |

So I got my bonus...YAY..however...it won't be in my account until Monday. Because who needs the weekend before Christmas to shop when you can do it the day before Christmas instead. Ugh. Really wish they would have just given us a check to deposit ourselves.

I just have no interest in taking my kids places they really don’t belong and being on edge for two hours trying to keep them entertained and quiet. Agreed. Sometimes the casual restaurants stress me out with kids, too, and it really ruins the meal/experience. |

TGIF! I'm pumping and going to get N after her nap and then we are done until the 2nd! Mh still has work though, so the break seems a bit daunting to me and we are still figuring out logistics of both my sister and kids and SIL and nephew being in town next weekend. My sis wants to do our family Xmas on Sunday, but she must not realize that on Xmas we are doing Xmas Eve and Xmas dinner with our parents since I'm the local one..so that's fun.
I panicked this morning about not sending an additional gift and j made a quick card for his teacher and took some peppermint bark, and I just got some chocolates for N's teachers to take over shortly.
Looking forward to pizza and the Nature Cat Christmas special the kids love tonight..

Well we had a pregnancy scare 😬 and still not completely in the clear.... but I think it put A and I on the same page and he will be scheduling his vasectomy after the new year.

Yikes peachsmama. It took a pregnancy scare for DH to follow-up after his vasectomy - he'd never bothered to get checked after his procedure. I'm sure you're all shocked. |

My Dad is home and resting. He's been so stressed that he can't sleep, so at this point he's a zombie. He claims he's just going to try not to think about it for a few days and live life. I hope he's able to do that.

I survived the phone switch over! This new phone is huge but otherwise not much different. It took up most of the morning and then i helped at Ns Xmas party. Tonight is date night and I’m excited to try a new restaurant in the metro. Can’t wait for some delicious food!

I hope he's able to do that. I'm glad he's home. Did they give your parents on estimate on when the results would be back? I think 7-10 days? The holidays are certainly impacting the timeframe. My understanding is that the biopsy is a bit of a formality at this point, as the doctor seems pretty convinced on the diagnosis. lahdeedah - I think the hope is the sedative will help him sleep. My Mom has been giving him Tylenol PM lately but that only helps him temporarily - I don't think he's gotten more than a few hours at a time in weeks. Poor guy. |
