Weeks/Due Date - 14w4d / June 11
Symptoms - boobs won't stop growing, tired most of the time, crazy dreams, occasional nausea/vomiting
The Good - Being in the second trimester gives me an added feeling of security that isn't there in 1st tri. Also getting a lot of my energy back even though I'm still tired.
The Bad - I thought I was over the nausea but apparently it's just become super unpredictable. It'll be a few days, I think I'm in the clear, the BOOM puking so hard I pee my pants again.
Milestones/Appointments - Had an ultrasound last week and so got to see baby. This week is a bunch of bloodwork and the high-risk OB.
To Do List - gotta clear out the basement (organize and donate), both for when we get our house sold but also so I can see what baby stuff we still have and where I'm gonna put it all.

Weeks/Due Date - 16/May 30
Symptoms - reflux lump in the back of my throat, sore boobs
The Good - feeling slightly better and I definitely have more energy than I did
The Bad - I am trying to do all the things at home to get ready for company next week and now I'm sleepy at work
Milestones/Appointments - I had my monthly appointment this morning. Heartbeat was good (150 bpm) and the doctor didn't have much to say, so I'm calling it a good one. My next appointment will include the 20 week ultrasound - I'm excited for 1/16!
To Do List - baby-related: find a carrier that will fit between two carseats in our Accord. I'm hoping to put off buying a bigger car for as long as possible. Non-baby: clean the house for all of DH's family that are coming over next Monday. He's got some crazy ideas about moving all the toys upstairs so we can use our dining room as it's intended. I told him I'd help with that after the actual cleaning that needs to happen is finished (so probably not going to be able to help). I'm unsure about having 6 kids upstairs unsupervised, but he thinks it will be ok. We'll see what happens.

txaggie08 what's your concern with having all the kids upstairs unsupervised? I'd it safety or mess? If it's just mess, I personally would prefer to have it all contained to one area that isn't in your view from the main living area lol.

And we're moving DD up there after Christmas so I'll have to clean it again. I still think we could just move toys into a kid's room and they can play downstairs. I may also just be acting difficult right now because it seems like a lot of work.

Weeks/Due Date - 12w1d, 6/28
Symptoms - bloating, fatigue, sore boobs, occasional nausea, headaches, forgetfulness
The Good - for the most part I’m feeling good
The Bad - headaches have started
Milestones/Appointments - no appts until January
To Do List - the only Christmas gifts I have left are for the teachers and bus driver. I am going to take care of that tomorrow. I ordered a new pair of pants for work which should be here later this week, thankfully. I may pull out more maternity clothes but so far I’m doing ok with my regular shirts.

We had discussed that one, but I'm not sure if DH wanted to look around some more. He's definitely more of a shopper than I am (which is awesome because he does a lot of the research for bigger purchases we make).

Fitting 3 across in a car or small SUV is a pain.

We have a diono, which I think is one of the most narrow options for DS and DD should be able to handle herself in a backless booster (she's 8, so I feel ok with moving her into one).

Yeah, dionos are usually recommended as a narrow one. I would put the infant seat in the middle and then the booster on the side with only one buckle so she doesn’t accidentally unbuckle the wrong one. We’re planning to get a minivan in the spring because I don’t want to try and do that puzzle myself.

txaggie08, the issue with any kind of booster with 3 across is that there’s not enough space to reach your hand down and attach the seatbelt. We have 3 across in DH’s sedan (the smaller Tesla model 3). The only way it worked was with two Dionos on the sides and the Chicco keyfit rearfacing in the middle, and now with three diono 5-points across. DD is 7 years old and 65 pounds and has to stay in the 5-point in his car because there’s no way to reach down to a seatbelt. It works ok as our second car but there’s no way I’d want to deal with it everyday. It’s really hard to heave the infant seat into the middle or help a kid who is in the middle. DH is pushing for a minivan now that we’ll have four kids. I currently have a 3-row SUV with captains chairs in the middle so it’s easy to get to the back even with car seats installed in the middle. But I’d have to be the one to drive it since he has the longer commute (he has the electric car so he can drive in the carpool lane alone). But I’m not interested in driving a minivan while he drives a Tesla If I stayed home with the kids and were driving them around frequently, I’d get one out of convenience, but we don’t have to drive them much on an average day with the school and baby daycare within walking distance.

Weeks/due date - 15 weeks tomorrow/June 9 The good - feel pretty good most of the time. The bad - not much. Feeling large. Symptoms - anyone else having a lot of round ligament pain? I feel like it’s happening really frequently lately when I get out of bed or stand up. Milestones/appts - just waiting for anatomy scan on 1/3. Also scheduled our fetal echo for 22 weeks. To do - just holiday stuff! We all fly cross country in a week. We got a lot done this weekend and then I slept 10 hours last night, I was so exhausted

It’s mostly if I try and stretch to get something quickly or stand up too quick.

Weeks/Due Date - 10w1d / July 12. Baby is the size of a LEGO minifigure (according to Ovia)! Symptoms - still pretty tired all the time, and also always hungry! I feel like I can't get enough to eat, lol. I've also been having some pink streaks on toilet paper after using the restroom, and I had one roughly half-dollar size spot of blood on Saturday so I'm worried about that, but since it doesn't ever transfer to a pad, my Dr doesn't seem concerned, so... just koko I guess? Lol. The Good - saw baby & heartbeat! We told DS this weekend, and he keeps asking me random questions about the baby. "Does the baby like riding in the car?" "Does the baby like being covered with blankets?" "Does the baby like me?" The Bad - I have had a lot of anxious thoughts racing through my head this past week or so. I won't bore y'all with that though, lol. Milestones/Appointments - had an appt on Friday. It was my first ultrasound, and I saw baby wiggling away with a heart rate of 174! I'll attach pic below... I'm a little bummed that it's a pretty blurry pic; when I was pregnant with ds, his first ultrasound pic was so clear, I could see him perfectly! To Do List - just finishing Christmas shopping & wrapping. Attachment Deleted

Weeks/Due Date - 15+4, June 5
Symptoms - None!
The Good - I’m glad the nausea is completely gone and the fatigue has lessened.
The Bad - I’m going on two weeks of a cold. It’s getting better but just won’t go completely away.
Milestones/Appointments - Next appointment is 12/27. The kids will be off school for Christmas break so I’m excited to take them so they can hear the heartbeat
To Do List - Basically everything for Christmas except buying the gifts. I’m pretty much done shopping but I’ve done nothing else.

Weeks/Due Date - 12/June 30
Symptoms - still most of them. The nausea is slightly less now, although the evenings are still rough
The Good - passed my 1 hr glucose test!
The Bad - exhausted and sore from my temporary catheter placement yesterday and plasmapheresis treatment. I have two more before it comes out Friday - but it's also good because it's helping protect baby!
Milestones/Appointments - all the appointments all the time. waiting to hear back about the NIPT we did a week ago, hoping we will hear sometime by the end of the week!
To Do List - too many things left to do for Christmas, with no time left!

fikafairy what are the chances that the baby has your blood type - do you know yet? I’m O negative and DH is A positive and all our kids have his blood type, but I forgot what the percentage chance of baby being negative is - maybe 10 or 15 percent? twopeas your DS’ questions are so cute. My DD is very into the size of the baby and asks me everyday. I’m just like ‘still an Orange’ and she gets frustrated that I only get size updates once a week she also asked if I’m going to feed the baby from my body and if that’s why my boobs are getting bigger. Oh and she is processing the fact that we’ll have a large family - she said ‘my kids could have three sets of cousins!’ and we told her it could be even more if she has kids with someone who also has siblings. We have always had a really small family and I only have 3 cousins total on both sides, so this is all new for us.

We will find out either via amnio or a really, really expensive blood test that has to be shipped to Europe around 14-15w. We have only confirmed that our lost DD was positive, although DH also has to be based on how the sensitization works, and we have no idea about the MMC. The problem for us is actually Kell, not Rh -/+ issues.

Ah got it, fikafairy. Fingers crossed for you! I had an amino with my first pregnancy and it was a lot less scary than I expected, and I guess the chance of complications from amnios are much lower than they were in the past - if you end up going that route.

sdlaura, I'm not worried about the risks of the amnio by itself, what I'm worried about is that the amnio might actually trigger the anemia to occur faster if the baby is actually Kell-positive. I'm still debating back and forth and might just wait to see what the gender is, and if my antibody titer number changes or not before then. If it's a girl and my titer number doesn't increase at all, then I might do the amnio.

Weeks/Due Date - 21w, twins coming early to mid April.
Symptoms - heartburn is starting up, my walking has really slowed and turned into more of a waddle. I can tell sleeping is going to be horrible soon, I’m exhausted by the end of the day...guess the 2nd tri energy doesn’t last long with twins lol.
The Good - more kicking from the babies has been fun. I scored two matching cribs for free this weekend from another twin mom that was giving them away.
The Bad - just overall uncomfortable. And it’s only going to get worse lol.
Milestones/Appointments - Next appt is January 6.
To Do List - I feel like it’s never ending. I don’t think anything is going to get done this week, other than installing my sons new car seat that is supposedly recommended to be narrow enough to fit 3 car seats across a row.

Weeks/Due Date - 13 weeks 6 days
Symptoms - Not much, I can sort of feel some movement and my headaches are still occurring and laughing at the Tylenol I take. A brisk walk actually makes me feel better.
The Good - I had an appointment today, I took DD with me. She heard the baby’s heartbeat. And now she’s telling everyone mommy has a heartbeat in her tummy. The baby was moving around with a strong heartbeat.
The Bad - I’m still slightly spotting. It’s just annoying but my OB is not concerned.
Milestones/Appointments - Appointments in January with MFM to check cervix length. NT scan went well. I also had to announce at DH’s Christmas party last week. He didn’t read “formal” on the invite until the night of the party. So I had to wear a form fitting formal dress I already have and after eating prime rib, my bump was very prominent. I have a short torso and 5’3.
To Do List - Grow a baby and enjoy my 6 week winter vacation!!!!

ttcbabyj solidarity on the headaches! I've had some mean migraines that make me vomit during this pregnancy and they are definitely hormonal (I used to get them before my periods when I was younger, but they tapered off as I got older/after I had ds) so Tylenol doesn't touch them. Also I'm jealous of your 6 week vacation! Any fun plans for your time off?

sdlaura I love your daughter's outlook on a big family! I only have one sister, so our immediate family was pretty small but we have a huge extended family on my dad's side so when we all got together or had reunions it was always the most fun parties!! I always wanted 3-4 kids so I could recreate that fun atmosphere at home, but I'm pretty sure we'll be done at 2.

I’m guzzling water because if I’m even just the slightest bit dehydrated they are even worse. We were thinking of doing an RV trip somewhere kind of local (we are in Southern California) but that’s only if DH can get time off work. He just returned back to work on light duty after a torch blew up in the his hand. My OB nixed my cruise ideas to Mexico. I do have a ton of house projects that I can get done while on winter break. I know it may sound boring, but it helps me feel more balanced when I’m working and barely have enough energy at the end of the day to bathe my kid.
