Thanks cali! Were you on vacation? I'm 36+3 and had an ultrasound last week that showed the baby is head down and butt up. Very relieved to hear that! I have my regular appointment on Wednesday and not expecting much from it. I've been feeling good! I'm actually getting a little sad to be towards the end of my pregnancy. It took so long to get pregnant, I feel like these past 9 months flew by. It'll be so awesome to meet this little guy though.

1. How far are you now? 32+6 2. Symptom check: Swollen feet, ankles, and hands are a constant, especially with the heat. I've been sleeping like crap too. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Thursday, just my bi-weekly appointment. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? We are thinking of making a trip to the bay for a few days. Am I nuts? It's only a 3 hour drive but I'll be 35 weeks. I'm a little worried but I also really want to get away for a few days and just relax. The nursery has one coat of paint on it and DH is finishing it today. I'm so relieved! I don't even care if the crib gets built, I just needed the room painted.

@easilyunamused, not really vacation, my mom has a summer home on a lake about 2 1/2 hours away so we went there for a couple days. I'm so glad your baby is head down. I can't believe you're so close! king26, I'm glad the nursery is painted! That's a big relief I'm sure. Did you ask your doctor about the trip? I think I'd be a little nervous but maybe you could schedule an OB appointment right before you go to make sure nothing's happening down there?

AFM, I'm 32w5d today. Starting to feel pretty large and uncomfortable. My pelvic bones have been hurting a lot but I asked my OB and she pretty much said that's normal and probably won't go away until after baby is born, so I guess I better get used to it. She recommended a support belt but I already had one from when I was having sciatic pain earlier and hated wearing it. Anyone have one they like? Other than that, I'm just trucking along. The baby's room is almost done, we just need to replace the closet doors but that's NBD. Everything looked good at our last appointment and u/s on Friday. Baby girl is growing well (measuring in the 66th percentile) and they could even see she has a lot of hair already! Istart weekly NSTs a week from this Wednesday. Now I'm just worrying more about delivery but I can't wait to meet this girl!

cali, I also hate the maternity belt that I bought. However, when I'm standing on my feet for a few hours it really helps. I don't wear it sitting down because it hurts but when I'm up cooking or baking it does help even though it makes me sweat like crazy.

cali, I'm no help in the maternity belt situation. But I hope you can relive some of the pain! You're getting so close too! king26, I wouldn't think twice about going on a short trip, but ask your OB if it'll make you feel more comfortable. I think it would be nice to have a relaxing getaway!

@easilyunamused, glad baby is in the right position! king26, I would go on a short road trip without a second thought if I was feeling ok. Just be sure to stop and stretch so you don't get too uncomfortable! cali, hope you can find a belt you like. AFM, I'm 32w2d and feeling good. Just the normal complaints of hip pain when sleeping and heart burn. Thankfully I'm only getting it a few times a week but when I do, even water makes it worse. I don't go anywhere without my tums since I never know when it might start. I started my twice weekly appointments yesterday. I'll have an NST and regular OB check up on Tuesdays (had it Monday this week because of the holiday) and a BPP every Friday. Looking forward to seeing the baby on Friday. I can't remember if they'll do a growth scan this time but hoping they do so I can get a weight estimate. As of tomorrow I'll have 7 weeks left! I really need to get my butt in gear and get some prep done. I did buy some diapers, nursing pads, granny panties (for post csection), and pads the other day. So I guess I'm at least a step in the right direction. I need to start going through clothes and clean the car seat, pack n play, and swing and then I'll feel a bit more prepared.

1. How far are you now? 20 weeks tomorrow, can't believe I'm halfway! 2. Symptom check: Nothing much, I did notice if I get up from squatting or bending over I get a sharp pain in my lower abdomen. I'm going to bring it up to the OB next week but anyone have insight? 3. What and when is your next appointment? Anatomy scan on Friday!!!! 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? Not share but another question, when do I start registering? Is there a master list of things I should look at somewhere on the interwebs?

mrsrodgers, acid reflux is the worst, especially in 3rd tri. Hope you get some relief! laurensc927, I think I started my registry around that time. Mostly for myself, when I saw a poster suggest something. There is a good website that has a list of the good stuff. I'll have to remember and get back to you. Good luck at the anatomy scan! I remembered www.lucieslist.com

@easilyunamused – I’m so glad you’re feeling good. king26 – eh, I’d go. Pretty sure your OB will clear that travel distance, too. Just ask at your appt to see what their travel policy is. Which maternity belt do you have, btw? cali – I am on maternity belt number 2 (not sure if my fault or our cleaning fairy, but the second part of the belt went missing, so the first one is useless), and I prefer this one overall. The first one I got was this one LINK, but I wasn’t a fan. It was too big and uncomfortable when I sat down (I am short, so I’m sure that doesn’t help). I did like the tightness I was able to get around my SI joint, though. Needless to say, I didn’t buy it again. The one I just got is this one LINK, and I like the fit better. That said, I have to fold one of the sides before I pull it around my waist so that I can get a tight enough fit to have my hips feel supported. I can sit well with this one, and that’s a huge plus. Obviously it can’t repair my labral tear, but the support does actually make a difference. I’d give it a shot. mrsrodgers – I still can’t believe you have to go in 2x a week. Also, thank you for mentioning granny panties. My ass certainly isn’t fitting into the ones I got for PP with TT. Off to Amazon.

AFM, I’m 33wks. Had the first of our weekly NST/BPPs on Friday. She passed with flying colors, and was going at it with the practice breathing. They guesstimated her weight at 4lb 9oz already. I’m taking it with a grain of salt though, since they guesstimated TT at 7.5lbs a week before she was born weighing 6lb 2oz, so..
Otherwise, just trucking along. I have 6 weeks max left, and I need to get shit together. I don't have my hospital bag packed (or even a list going), her corner of our room set up, the "baby cabinet" gone through/organized, or really anything done. I do have 3 boxes of NB diapers though, so I guess that counts?

1. How far are you now? 25 weeks + 1 day! 2. Symptom check: nothing new. just tired, hungry. 3. What and when is your next appointment? on the 26th 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? my sister offered to throw me a baby shower. I should ask her if she was serious. I don't even know when that would happen. I almost completed my registry - there isn't a whole lot on there - and we are still looking to move to a single family house so I don't know. too many things to think about. /rant
laurensc927 , sounds like round ligament pain? Also I started my registry a couple weeks ago. lucieslist.com was a huge help for me. mrsrodgers , sounds like you have everything you need! for now. you are so close!! cali , I hope the pain eases and you find something that helps you! you are also so close! king26 , it must be nice to have the nursery almost complete! my feet get a little swollen at the end of the day. i'm still going to wear tennis shoes until I can't tie them anymore! then flip flops it is. Also, totally check with your Dr before going out of town. just for the peace of mind. @easilyunamused , yay for head down butt up baby! good luck at your appointment!

laurensc927, I started registering after my AS, so right around where you are now. I second the recommendation for lucieslist, that's what I used and it seemed pretty thorough without recommending a bunch of ridiculous stuff. As for the pain, I had (and still have) so many weird and random pains throughout, every time I've asked I've been told it's all normal growing type pains, so that's probably what you're dealing with as well, but of course mention it to your doc.

ketchup, procrastinators unite! I thought I procrastinated with C, but it's so much worse this time around. We still don't even have any names picked out. And last time around I didn't think about comfy undies that I didn't care about tossing so I asked MH to get some during one of his Target runs shortly after we got home from the hospital. He came home with tummy control Hanes. 😂 So yeah, I was sure to buy some actual granny panties this time around.

22w5d today. Ive had heartburn/indigestion pretty consistently for the last few days, so that seems to be my new normal. I can't complain too much because I've felt really good for most of the pregnancy, but another 17+ weeks of feeling this way doesn't sound fun. I've got a regular ob appointment tomorrow. We'll probably schedule my next rhogam injection and maybe my glucose test.

Hi everyone sorry I have been MIA I was traveling and then with my jacked up hips doing anything other than taking care of DD is a struggle. I have missed two work deadlines and could honestly care less.
I am almost 37 weeks which is crazy. I have nothing ready not even my bag. The doctor yesterday said he believes I will go early but that is what they said about DD and she hung out for another week before being evicted. U did have a few real feeling contractions last night which freaked me out. My H is gone another week and my friend does not get here until after midnight tonight so I just need one more day if he is planning on an early arrival.
I will come back later when I am not mobile!
