trtlcrzy , ooo girl, that is NOT a mess. I would be happy if I had just that! Yeah, it’s not that bad right now because it’s half cleaned up and I don’t have dirty dishes on the counter. My living room also needs to be picked up. What I hate is getting one area clean, moving on to the next and by the time I’m done with the 2nd area the first is back to messy. YES!! Cadence has a knack for leaving something behind wherever she goes. So irritating.

I grew up in a house that was spotless. I think I may purposely leave a little mess in my house now as rebellion. I used to clean for friends but then I realized if I’m going to actually remain friends with these people and have them over frequently, I can’t keep up so I should just been an honest mess from the start. I now use my nights for schoolwork/holiday stuff so my house will get cleaned in May maybe.
Today at work a girl pulled the fire alarm while classes were changing so that was fun. Luckily it was only drizzling a bit at the time. Kid walked right over and turned herself in to a VP as soon as we got outside.
Currently sitting at DS’s therapy appointment with all the kids. I went food shopping and planned to cook all week but here we are on Tuesday and I just ordered pizza. DH is out tonight and the place next door to where I am has $7 pies tonight so it made sense.

kim22 I also grew up in a house that was spotless. My sister inherited that gene, not me. I always clean like a crazy person before my mother visits, otherwise I'll never hear the end of it.

I keep my house pretty clean, but the playroom (our formal living room) can be a challenge. Everything else is picked up throughout the day, vacuum once a day, clean up toy room once a day around dinner time. Typically we deep clean (scrubbing all appliances, floors, bathrooms, ect) on Saturday and then I do another semi deep clean Tuesdays and also wash sheets and do a bunch of laundry before I go back to work for the week....not that you all care lol.

Morning! I just had a delicious breakfast sandwich (cover your eyes, tgrimes !)...egg, mozzarella, peach salsa, corn salsa, apple jelly and avocado. Too many salsas and wtf to including apple jelly in this concoction. I cannot like any response other than this to this nonsense.

Hiiiii! Trying to check in a little more often.
I took tomorrow and next Wednesday off to get a jump on holiday baking and to do whatever running around needs doing. I figured that tomorrow would entail quite a bit of time sitting on my butt since I'm still feeling pretty rough. But instead I just signed up to volunteer for 2 hours midday at the elementary school with their holiday fair. Why do I do these things to myself?? Oh well, I can still sleep in a bit and hit the gym after dropping Chase (since I haven't worked out in almost a week and don't want to brave the cold until my cough clears up) and maybe whip up a batch of cookie dough or two in the afternoon. I may even have time to hit up TJ Maxx, but that would leave no time for Hallmark movies. Boo.
Anyhow our meeting with Colin's teacher went really well last night and she came off far warmer than in the past. Still no nonsense, which I appreciate, but certainly less cold. Anyhow she was super thorough with her review and covered everything we had planned to ask, plus she made some really sweet comments about what a great kid he is. Even DH was happy.
That tooth though... still hanging on as of this morning. LOL

I received another call from the infectious disease nurse. The dr reached out to immunology and would now like to see him in the office on Monday.

With how crazy busy your family is I would be surprised if your house was spotless. You should hire a house cleaner to take that off your plate.

Hi. First of three overnights done. My house is never clean. I feel like I’m the only one who cleans. I’m so tired. Tomorrow when I get off work both my phones are getting turned off.

I wish I had the motivation to deep clean once a week. My stuff probably gets deep cleaned twice a year- and that’s mostly just bathrooms/kitchen. I may wipe down everything else like baseboards and windows and such once a year.

Speaking of cleaning... I came home to find Mh vacuuming. It’s one of the things he does regularly. He had picked up in all the rooms and vacuumed. I need to find out what days he will be home over the next few weeks so I can task him with a few things I rather not have to do.

Anybody watch mixed-ish? MH just told me that the dad is Zack from Saved by the Bell. Mind-blown. I knew he looked familiar, but couldn’t put my finger on it and probably would have never guessed Zack. Wow.

The girl I know whose kid ordered the $1,000 worth of stuff on Amazon had a play date today. After, she got a text from the other mom that said something like “thanks for having my kid over today. He had so much fun playing with your son and his pet hamsters.” Her kid doesn’t have pet hamsters but of course she was now concerned that perhaps Amazon had delivered some and she does in fact have pet hamsters.

I've been putting k to bed for the past 4 hours. Dying over here. I made mh try for long enough for me to eat some ice cream. I thought I'd get up early to exercise and shower, but pretty sure that's not happening.
