inthekitty Schitts Creek has some great gifs. I really love this show. It makes my heart so happy. The entire cast is wonderful. I didn't know until I watched most of it that Twyla is Dan Levy's sister/Eugene Levy's daughter. Everything down to the small details is so well thought out. I'm so sad it's ending, but I'm happy it's going out on their terms and not cut off early or dwindling on and pointless. |

I want to be a person that house is always neat. My kids and their toys won’t let me be great in that area. I feel like I’m constantly decluttering/organizing, but it’s always so much and everywhere. I need to do a toy overhaul and donate a lot of it. My house is pretty neat, but it’s become a lot better than it used to be. I didn’t realize how much Pete actually contributed to the chaos and clutter until he was gone. I have no doubt that MH contributes to it. I have set up the mud room to have space for all his stuff and he still puts his backpack/hats/ etc on the desk. He always is bringing home free crap he gets at work. If he would stop bringing stuff home and put his stuff where it should go, it probably would make a huge difference. |

Re clean houses; my house is sort of clean... and sort of neat. We’re both sentimental (aka tucked away clutter everywhere) and both hate cleaning with a vengeance. But hey, according to other people my home is light and shows character, so We’re doing something right I guess 🤷🏼♀️.

wineallthetime I wouldnt worry about cleaning up to impress her, I can guarantee that she cleans like that for her own sake for her own space*, I'm sure your house is fine! *Yes I'm projecting, my house is generally clean and put together but I dont judge other people and how they live. It's that whole outer peace inner chaos thing  Yes, this. I keep a pretty tidy house but I'm also home all day, and mess would drive me nuttier than I already am  The only thing i would judge is true dirt/grime. But clutter or some toys out? Whatever. Not my circus, not my monkeys. |

It's been nice having the house to myself. I got some more gifts wrapped and sent my dad gift ideas for my mom. IDK why I am the go-between, I guess b/c they both trust my taste. I have some white chicken chili going in the crock pot--I kind of improvised and combined a couple different recipes. We'll see what I get at 6 pm |

wineallthetime, I think that sandwich sounds delish even with all that it has going on. I was a bit perplexed by the apple jelly but I'd eat it. Whenever I have omelets I usually have them with the weirdest assortment of fillings--apples, strawberries, red peppers, feta, spinach. I usually do strawberry jelly which is much better, but we are out! |

Getting ready for the dumb Olympics to take off. So far 3 people have replied all to thousands regarding wanting to be removed from a distro list. Wondering how long the madness will continue. The record a couple years ago was around 75 emails from a bunch of morons.

Speaking of TV, does/has anyone hear watch/ed Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton? We started it this week and somehow DH accidentally selected the 3rd season first, so we watched the whole thing before realizing our mistake. SO good though. We went back and are about halfway thru 1 now.

I made the tragic error of ordering a lot of Christmas stuff that requires me to put it together.🙄
Tim is coming to visit next weekend and asked me for a list of small projects he could help with while he’s here (so far just upgrading the shower heads and putting some motion activated LED lights on the stairs to make them a little easier for the kids to navigate). Think I will add toy assembly.

Hi hi. I feel like I haven’t posted in forever. We had a busy weekend and L has been very needy lately so the days fly by. We spent Saturday painting and redecorating Ns room, it turned out so cute! Then we had her party Sunday and family over for dinner and I spent most of yesterday making our annual family photo calendar for my parents and got that ordered.
L had his 2 month appointment this morning. He has a slight flat spot so I ordered some weird stocking hat that’s supposed to help correct it and prevent a helmet. Now he’s sleepy from his shots so we’re snuggling while i catch up here.

My sister is like this. It's exhausting. Constant picking up/cleaning and yelling at the kids to pick up their rooms. Right? They have a patio and pool and when they have pool parties she's constantly mopping the patio and stuff! This is exactly like a friend of mine. I swear to god she got postpartum OCD about cleaning and it never went away. She never seems to enjoy anything because she is so worried about cleaning. I feel bad for her. |

I've done no actual work today, but I got my Christmas cards done. Or most of them, I had to order another set because I ran out. I'm sure some of the extended family I am sending them to will be all, "who's kid is this?"

 If this makes anyone feel better I’m still working on this giant mess. I did the perimeter counters yesterday. I get things picked up and like 2 days later it’s back to this. I need a system to help us to stop piling everything on the island. |

My house is generally pretty picked up, not clean, but picked up. My mom was the same way, so I just learned to pick stuff up daily. Not that it doesn't get out of hand occasionally, but every weekend, I make sure everything is put away. My H is good about keeping stuff picked up as well...and also complaining when it is a mess.
The announcement was made at 8am. Surprisingly, there weren't many questions, but the management team all went back to our offices after the announcement and I have a feeling there were a lot of questions after I left. We have had benefits meetings, then lunch, then a meeting about the buyer, I think another meeting of some sort this afternoon, then dinner tonight.

My living room also needs to be picked up. What I hate is getting one area clean, moving on to the next and by the time I’m done with the 2nd area the first is back to messy. |
