It snowed last night and is still snowing. I am snuggled up at home with my boys and hot coffee while DD is at school. We are heading to an indoor Christmas light event tonight with a ton of fun stuff for kids, I cannot wait!

Snow sounds so nice! It’s raining here,so I’ll take it. We were going to go chop down our Christmas tree, but it’s raining too hard and the farm we go to sits on a hill. I don’t want to take any chances wearing DS and slipping and falling. It should be partially cloudy tomorrow so maybe we’ll go tomorrow.

@crazy3dogmom That is so scary and traumatic. I'm glad that he is doing better. I guess it's standard to make you leave the room for the lumber puncture. That would really upset me too. So the pneumonia was that sudden without prior coughing or stuffiness? That's scary.

Sorry your little guy is sick @crazy3dogmom! I hope he is doing better and you get to go home! Sick babies are so sad. DS2 got a little cough when my older kids were sick last month and it was just the saddest little sound

DS2 has a consult for his lip and possible tongue ties today. I have a feeling the lip needs to be clipped but not sure about his tongue. DS1 had both done so we know the drill

@crazy3dogmom , I am so incredibly sorry you’re dealing with that, how scary! I hope your little guy start feels better super quick and the remaining hospital stay is comfortable and uneventful. I’ll definitely be thinking of your little boy! What about the dogs and cats causes it as far as hem doing something? Is it just contact? I have 4 cats and for the most part they avoid DH, I want to make sure I’m doing what I can to prevent this sort of thing ☹️

I think I have strep throat. I feel like I’m dying. 15 minutes until the pharmacy opens and I can call to confirm they do strep swabs. 50 minutes until I can be there. I am so glad DS1 was already planning on going to my parents house for a play date this morning, I am exhausted and feel like crap, parenting him would be a challenge for sure

Strep test came back negative. They did give me a numbing mouth wash that will apparently numb the back of my throat so I can swallow without excruciating pain. Snuggled up with DS2 on the couch watching Jane the virgin and tea trying to rest as much as possible

The knives in the throat feeling is pretty characteristic of it

I feel a bit better today but it does still hurt to swallow

So all my little lounger things for DS to sit in while I do things say he can use them up until he can roll over. What the heck can they sit in when they start rolling over? What if they can roll over but not support their head?

@crazy3dogmom Your poor little guy! I'm so glad he's on the mend! And OMG I let my dog lick the baby all the time. 😬I guess I should stop that.

Just dropping in to humble brag that I managed to get all 3 of my kids to have nap/quiet time simultaneously and in their own beds today! This has never happened to us and DS2 is in the middle of the second leap/regression and napping like crap lately so it seems like an extra great accomplishment

Yay doodlemommy I'm sure that feels like a big accomplishment. E had his 2 month well visit this week. Almost 12 pounds now. Doctor said he is strong and showing advanced movements for his age so we should be prepared for him to walk before his first birthday. He did good with the vaccines too- 3 pokes and all he needed was to cry for a few minutes, got some cuddles and he was back to being a content baby. We got the Owlet sock this week and I am regretting not getting it for as soon as he got home after birth. It has definitely helped to put me at ease. We just had our two month vaccines yesterday too and he barely cried, I was seriously impressed. My two year old didn’t even flinch at his flu shot when he got it but my five year old did 😂 DS2 is just a little guy, 10 lb 10 oz yesterday at 10 weeks

Sorry @crazy3dogmom. Family drama around the holidays is the worst. Hope it gets better soon.
So, on Christmas Eve, I was at the kitchen table helping ds1 with a gingerbread house, dh was in the bathroom, and DS2 was behind me eating red and green m&Ms. I had set baby J on the large chaise lounge. Suddenly, I didn't hear DS2, so I got up, saw he was by the couch and rushed over to see that he had fed baby J two m&Ms and she had already puked them back up. I cried hysterically for 10 minutes, but everyone was okay. I was just so horrified that she was coughing them up and I didn't even hear! So officially, ds1 first food was avocado, DS2 was rice cereal, and baby J was M&Ms. I'm really going downhill with my baby diets, lol.

We had a really nice Christmas but now DH has what I’m pretty sure is the flu or some other equally as nasty virus. He has been in bed for 36 hours so I am on day 2 of post Christmas solo parenting all 3 kids. I was really hoping he’d be better this morning so I could get some non parenting stuff done but guess not

thinkchocolate05 that’s so scary, glad baby J is ok! I can totally see my DS1 trying something like this thinking he was being nice sharing with DS2

@thinkchocolate yikes!! I'm glad she's okay but man, that is scary 😳 I worry about that happening here, too, but it's just so hard to have your full attention on any one thing when you have multiple kids.

Our Christmas was wonderful! We had such a nice, chill day and the kids all got along and it was pretty much perfect. The only issue was some stupid family drama that happened over the weekend when I was out of town but I tried to put it out of my mind for the day. Why does family have to go nuts this time of year? 🙄

randomosity Glad Christmas was good for you! So guys, I fell asleep pumping last night! I pump after feeding baby J bc I barely make enough even with pumping. I woke up like an hour later. Thank goodness the Spectra turns off after 30 minutes but I was still a little sore. I got enough for two bottles though!

I just bought myself a yeti coffee cup and it is a game changer. My coffee or tea stays hot for hours, no more cold drinks for the win! I have been using a yeti rambler tumbler for water for months and love it, I’m a yeti convert

I decorate Ozark stainless steel cups and now I can't go without one at any time. It's basically the only way I drink water anymore!

It just hit me that the September/October 2020 bmb already has a bfp. Which is insane.
