Sending lots of love nam2013 , be gentle and kind with yourself. Big hugs. I’m trying to be. I took the day off. I have so many people who are saying nice things and being sweet and considerate & somehow I’ve never felt more alone in my life than during this last week. ETA my husband has been amazing during all this. He’s really sad himself, but has also been so sweet & gentle with me. I completely get it, it's a very lonely situation. Allow yourself to feel all the feelings, it's such a mind mess. We're here for you, friend. |

Hi all, I spent the morning online shopping and then getting H ready. She performs in the nutcracker in 30 mins so I’m at the theater waiting. DH has to work so he’s missing it, but Mil is bringing S and her friend. Should be cute.

The kids wanted to stay at the beach. We did the aquarium and then some boardwalk pizza. Then we played in the sand for a while and went out to dinner. For now, they are all in bed but C is singing so I don’t know if it will last.
My neighbor stopped by to get my number because he said he noticed the ceiling collapse 3 weeks ago but didn’t know how to reach us. Since then, my nephew has allegedly come by to check on the house and DH was here for a whole day but somehow they both missed it.
DS got ejected from his game tonight for fighting. I told DH to tell him he now pays the hotel bill.

Hiiiii. My parents spent the day in MA today visiting relatives so that was a welcome break.
The boys were off the wall so we got them day passes to a local play place and spent a couple hours there before lunch, then went back for another 45 minutes or so after Chase's nap. We popped over to Home Depot after for a wreath and a couple other odd ends, and lo and behold, Santa was outside with a ridiculously decorated fire truck. And our old office manager just started working there part-time, which was a great unexpected surprise to see her - we live in the same town but somehow never bump into each other.
Anyhow the boys are in bed, DH is in the shower, and my parents are still out. I'm more relaxed than I've been in ages, it's been nice.

E had two more bloody noses today. She keeps running into things. Poor little girl. Ok has been a jerk. He almost broke our dining room table just now. When does the defiant stage end?
