Weeks/Due Date - 9w 2d/June 27th
Symptoms - nausea and food aversion, sore boobs, fatigue
The Good - still pregnant and I’m pretty sure I can feel where my uterus is coming up above the pelvic bone.
The Bad - cramping and spotting from time to time still and it’s freaking me out.
Milestones/Appointments - I have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon.
To Do List - nothing right now.
Bonus: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? We have chicken n dumplings on thanksgiving day and that my favorite but for traditional food, smoked turkey gravy is the best.

Weeks/Due Date - 11w/6d - June 9
Symptoms - Not much lately, thankfully
The Good - Feeling pretty decent
The Bad - My new theory is that gluten is causing me bad bloating and headaches, not sugar or dehydration. I've always been a little bit sensitive and maybe I'm more sensitive during pregnancy? Not sure if that's possible. Also last night DD told us that she really wants a baby sister. She doesn't know I'm pregnant yet, and she's going to be really disappointed when we tell her we're having a boy.
Milestones/Appointments - NT scan tomorrow afternoon. I haven't been feeling very pregnant lately so I'm looking forward to seeing the baby and crossing my fingers that things look good. Regular OB appt. Wednesday.
To Do List - Prep for hosting Thanksgiving, pack for Fiji trip, make sure everything is squared away for my parents to take care of the kids/dog/house for a week.
Bonus: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? DH makes two really yummy dishes - scalloped potatoes and brussel sprouts gratin - that I love. And I make a good cranberry cornbread.

Weeks/Due Date - 11+2/ June 13
Symptoms - omg I totally got ahead of myself thinking I was getting better, lol. The past couple days have been awful. Just like a bad hangover/garbage feeling. And it’s hitting me earlier in the day while I’m at work now which sucks. Last night in the middle of the night I woke up so nauseated I thought I’d have to call in, but thankfully by the time I actually had to get up it was a little better. I have a full on belly now and I can’t wait until it looks more like a pregnant belly and not just like I’ve gained a few (which I also have, hah).
The Good - hmm. Well I’m glad to be pregnant mostly during the cold months. Well, colder at least in Texas. Ive decided I’m going to live in giant sweaters. I bought a couple from target that are super comfy. Of course I bought men’s because whyyyyyy do lady sweaters have to be so short???
The Bad - just ready to feel like a regular human again.
Milestones/Appointments - no appts til the end of December
To Do List - I’ve been saying this for a few weeks but I really need to get some jeans/pants. I keep putting it off but mine are getting pretty tight.
Bonus: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? Probably stuffing. I used to really dislike it but now I love it and I look forward to it every year.

Weeks/Due Date - 7w1d / July 12th. Baby is the size of a blueberry (or an m&m, according to glow app)!
Symptoms - so tired & sore boobs. That's it so far, thank God!
The Good - just being pregnant!
The Bad - husband is freaking out about paying for 2 kids in daycare already. I'm like, dude we still have several months to get that sorted out!
Milestones/Appointments - had an appt this morning, but no ultrasound! This is a new OB for me and I guess they do a dating scan between 8-12 wks. Then why didn't they just schedule me next week!? I'm impatient, I want to see baby! That should happen on 12/13 now. All they did today was take a shit ton of blood & a urine sample. I also have to do a 24 hr urine catch before my next appt so they have a baseline to compare to if I develop preeclampsia later (I was borderline with DS).
To Do List - get some Christmas shopping in.
Bonus: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? - I really just enjoy the traditional food... mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans. I like to pour gravy over all of my food (except the sweet potatoes). Actually I think gravy might be my favorite Thanksgiving food! Lol.

Weeks/Due Date - 11w5d / June 11 Symptoms - I dry-heave (and occasionally vomit) every morning once I start making breakfast), once I get through those few minutes I'm good. Headaches, hungry, tired, sore boobs The Good - I feel like 12 weeks is a milestone of sorts (in my brain anyway) and I'm there I'm 2 days, so I'm feeling pretty good about things. Also the all day nausea is officially over (it's been a number of days now so I feel confident calling it) The Bad - The headaches. Ohhh the headaches. Milestones/Appointments - I see my Rheumatologist today and my Family doctor next week. Haven't had an ultrasound since the one at 6 weeks when I had the big bleed, but I'll at least hear on the Doppler next week. I'm still waiting on the high-risk ob (which I imagine my Rheumatologist will be making some phone calls about when I see her today). To Do List - showing the house again tomorrow so all baby stuff is on the backburner while I focus on cleaning. Bonus: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? We do traditional Newfoundland dinners so our Thanksgiving looks a *little* different that most. But I think I'm on page with twopeas and the gravy is my favorite part (and stuffing)

wasabi twopeas I'm definitely not happy about being pregnant in colder months. Ugh. But I also live in the Tundra. (Not quite but close enough lol). I found out I was pregnant on DS1 around Christmas time, so technically cold, but I also didn't start getting really big until like April or later. And DS2 I found out in March so again no belly until it started getting warmer. Not sure what I'm gonna do about a winter jacket, mine will only fit me so long and since this is my last I can't justify buying a new one. Also boots with swollen feet. And shoveling snow with a big belly. Ugh.

I live in a mild climate (coastal San Diego) that doesn’t get too hot in the summer either. I’d prefer to be really pregnant in the warmer months. Give me all the sundresses, flip flops, and pool time. Springs are usually a little chilly here and I hate having to wear real pants and real shoes while pregnant DD was born in mid-August and I loved that - but also probably because she was my first, so I actually had the time to lounge in the pool.

Weeks/Due Date - 9w2d 6/28
Symptoms - sore boobs, short of breath, bloating
The Good - I was able to find baby’s heartbeat on my Doppler pretty briefly the other night. So happy to have that reassurance.
The Bad - I have had a terrible cold since Friday that makes my shortness of breath even worse. Can’t wait for this cold to go away. I also have a really cute, giant cold sore at the corner of my mouth that needs to GTFO.
Milestones/Appointments - next appt is 12/12
To Do List - decorate my house for Christmas. I want it to be done but I don’t want to actually do it.
Bonus: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? Pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes! (Obvs not together)

Weeks/Due Date - 9w0d/ June 30 (though will deliver several weeks early)
Symptoms - all of them. nausea, gagging/dry-heaving, metal mouth, food aversions, exhausted. Although today I don't feel nearly as much like a hot pile of garbage like I usually do 24/7.
The Good - I found the heartbeat with the doppler this morning!! I've been trying off and on for several days, thought I caught it once or twice but wasn't sure, and this time I was 100% sure I found it. It was SO reassuring, because this is when we found out about the MMC earlier this year.
The Bad - the inability to eat most food is a problem. I'm overweight to begin with so my dr isn't worried about the weight loss (and honestly this has happened every time so far) but I hate feeling like this. Also I found out today that the blood test to find out the baby's blood type will cost us $1k per draw since it's super specialized and has to get sent overseas.
Milestones/Appointments - doppler heartbeat today!! and I have an appt on 12/10 for an early NT and NIPT before the madness begins at 12-13 weeks with the IVIG.
To Do List - schedule IVIG/plasmapheresis
Bonus: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? anything I can put the gravy on! I follow my mom's recipe for gravy and it's honestly my favorite part of the entire meal anymore, followed by the stuffing. SO GOOD. We typically make our own turkey on Black Friday while we put up the christmas tree just so I can make the stuffing and gravy for leftovers for us. We are going to the toxic ILs this year, so I'm trying to convince DH that we should stay as short as possible without making it obvious.

I actually prefer being early pregnant in the winter. Much easier to hide the early bloat/bump nonsense. I won’t get super big until late winter/spring. Now, being outside at 9 months pregnant when it’s 80 degrees will suck. Also, it’ll be harder to hide the pp chub. Oh well. Plus my girls love going to the pool in the summer and I don’t know how much that will be possible with a fresh babe.
I don’t really think there’s ever a perfect time to be pregnant, there are always pros and cons. With this baby I will have achieved giving birth in 3 out of 4 seasons. DD1’s birthday is in mid November and DD2’s is end of February.

trtlcrzy, great point about it being easier to conceal a growing bump as it gets cooler. I don’t plan on telling work until after my anatomy scan at 18 weeks so that is definitely a plus!

Weeks/Due Date - 18w, goal to deliver twins between April 1-20
Symptoms - Lots of muscle cramping from the rapid belly growth. It’s very uncomfortable. I bought a belly belt and have tried it a few times while at home and it’s ok I guess. I just don’t want to put it under work clothes because it looks so bulky. So I might try to find something different.
The Good - I might have my H on board with some names, or at least getting there. I have been feeling movement, it’s still small bubbles and stuff but it’s fun either way!
The Bad - sleeping has already become terrible. I need to get more pillows and basically just build an enclave to sleep in.
Milestones/Appointments - I have my a/s next Thursday on the 5th. It will be fun to get a long look at both babies!
To Do List - I might see if any of our baby gear goes on super sale during Black Friday stuff.
Bonus: What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?: I like the traditional stuff honestly. Turkey and potatoes. I tested out a new recipe for hatch chili corn pudding this year though and it’s very good so that will be a new favorite!

There are definitely pros and cons to any time of year but I had my son on July 27 and we get humidity and heat that is super nasty here in the summer and god almighty did I hate that while super pregnant. So much harder to sleep and just do anything without the intense sweat and swamp crotch.

This is my first time being pregnant over the winter. DS was born in September, late DD was also born in September (but due late December), and our MMC was due in October. This is a totally different experience for me, clothing-wise.
I'm hoping I can get away without buying a new winter coat and surviving with the existing maternity pants I already have. I might need to buy some new leggings and a pair of capris though for the end/PP.

Just had my NT scan, and everything looks great. It’s amazing how much they can see at 12 weeks. They could even see that the heart has four chambers, so that was encouraging given our past issues. Of course the perinatologist did warn us of all kinds of scary possibilities given my age. They’re going to do our anatomy scan a little before 18 weeks because of age and history.

However the shoe situation was definitely better, since I could wear flip flops. But just going outside was miserable and sometimes even the pool couldn’t cool me off.
