Not traveling here. We are doing a family Thanksgiving, just H, DS and I on Thursday early afternoon. Then we are taking DS to to spend the weekend with DH's parents (they don't do a TG dinner on Thursday because his dad works retail and is working overnight for Black Friday) so H and I can go shopping on Friday. We will go to H's grandma's house on Saturday for the big family meal and pick up DS. Sunday we decorate the house for Christmas! My family lives out of state so nothing but Facetime with them.

We don’t have to travel since our entire family is within 20 minutes of us. We got to BIL and SILs for lunch then to my aunts for dinner. I’m on call Thanksgiving Day so I’m hoping they don’t need me.

Big family dinner is this weekend for my mom’s maternal side. My mom and sisters and I cook a huge meal for roughly 30 people (who can NOT be relied on to help and show up on time).
We have a more quiet dinner with mom and her dad and my sisters and our families on Thanksgiving Day but we don’t do the traditional turkey on that day.
Other than H’s father, we don’t see his side so we’ll probably just have dinner with him one day.

We live on the opposite coast from family so we usually host for friends and any family who comes to visit. This year we’ll host our friends and their three kids for the third year in a row. Randomly they’re from the same area on the east coast as us, but we met them out here. My parents also fly in on thanksgiving day. So we’ll cook for 6 adults and 6 kids - a pretty manageable size.
I usually take the kids and do our town turkey trot the morning of thanksgiving, which runs along the ocean, while DH starts cooking. But it looks like the weather will be cold and rainy this year, so I may make a game time decision on signing up depending on weather.

We don't have to travel, most of our family is close enough to drive. We are going to my IL's on thanksgiving day. She's making a prime rib instead of turkey, so that will be different. I think it'll just be them and GMIL so a quiet gtg.
Next Saturday we will go to my sister's house to celebrate with my side of the family. This will be a large group. I am responsible for bringing a homemade pumpkin pie (and cool whip, duh), and cranberry relish. I might end up making something else too, depends on how Friday goes.

H’s family is super small (his mom, her partner, an uncle and a brother) so we went out to eat last night instead of doing thanksgiving this year.
For my family, we go to my grandmas house on thanksgiving day. It’s always a good time, and all my cousins should be here this year. We are very close and always have fun together.

We are supposed to be going to the ILs on Thanksgiving Day, but that's always up in the air because they are pretty toxic people on a good day and H hasn't fully committed to going yet. We have an open invitation to my parent's house but I doubt we will go. I'm so sick around all food right now that it might be a washout anyway, so we will see. ILs live almost 2 hours away, so not far but not that close either.
I'm babysitting for my niece Saturday night for my sister's BIL's wedding since my parents are going, and obviously her H is in the wedding since it's his brother. THen on Sunday we are taking DS to see Frozen 2 and I think I'm the most excited for that because it's during the breakfast serving hours at the movie tavern near us, so I get to eat pancakes.
