Still coughing a ton over here and feeling generally exhausted. Col's party is tomorrow so I'll be sucking on cough drops nonstop in order to NOT freak out any parents. At least the boys (including DH) all seem pretty healthy and so far everyone is getting along with my parents visiting. They've been in and out, visiting with friends and family in CT and MA, which I hope continues. I've missed them but too much togetherness is never a good thing.

X’s appointment was great. Our Doctor was very pleased with his progress and how he’s been doing at school. He also said he had come so far, so quickly because of the quality of nurturing he receives at home, which was very sweet.

I headed straight to the elementary school from there to have lunch with my handsome little dude:

I really want to order some fried crap to have during my infusion, but my nurse is always commenting on how healthy I eat and now I feel self-conscious about eating junk in front of her.

Do I make myself a giant plate of vegetables, or have Doordash bring me some greasy goodness?

I’ve been WFH today, therefore got caught up on housework. Waiting for my mom to arrive for the weekend. She’s babysitting tomorrow while MH and I volunteer at a banquet for a non profit we help out with.

Hello all, happy Friday.

Yesterday was a blur, I was out of the house for 7.5 hours with the kids at appointments and running a couple errands in the end. I promptly poured myself a drink when I got home. The kids were so good, we had dental and while B's mouth is a mess and requires surgery, J's has zero issues and she even got a cleaning in, she did so well for her first time.

Dr's check ups were good, the nurse rolled in with the blood pressure machine and J's eyes were so scared; B saw that and he immediately and even though he had no idea what to expect he put out his arm and said 'i'll go first' then talked her through what it felt like, proceeded to hold her while she got hers done and as soon as the nurse said that hers was done he ripped it off her arm as if it was an act of bravery saving her from the dreaded cuff. I love moments like that where I just sit back and watch them interact.

S woke up from her nap with a 105 fever so the pedi looked at her too while we were at H’s well check. She has a double EI to no ones surprise. Hopefully this isn’t the start of continuous EIs or it’s back to surgery for her. We went to target after to pick up the script and there was some issue with the pharmacy not receiving it. Both girls were not listening and generally being naughty so I’m crabby now. But I get to push that aside and take them to Disney on ice in a little bit. Yay. I just want to go to bed.

M had a good party and got good gifts. Everyone listened to my suggestions so he got craft stuff, restaurant gift cards, jeans and legos. No annoying toys. And my parents gave him money so he can go shopping for whatever he wants.

I need to get him some sketch books! I bought him legos and his own tape dispenser and stapler. I'm tired of having to track mine down every day lol. And hole puncher. He thought that thing was magic lol.

I always say art stuff if people ask. I figure it covers any budget and it’s consumable so not taking up space in my house forever.

Did double TKD classes tonight and then since we end early on Fridays we had time for some holiday shows. Watched the cartoon Grinch, finished Klaus, and the Mistletones. The girls loved that one.

That's a good idea! We got John a tape dispenser and tape from Costco bc he goes through it so fast...a hole puncher would be a nice addition.
