We have an appointment with X’s neurodevelopmental pedi this morning, then I am meeting Dude at school for their annual family picnic.

Infusion tonight, and doing not much of anything else except watching junk TV and reading in bed.

Good morning. S is still sick, I woke up with pain in one side of my throat which I’m pretty sure is a tonsil stone. S and I need to run to target to get more Motrin and birthday presents for this weekend. H has her well check after school and then we are going to Disney on ice tonight.

Cadence apparently threw up last night around 3. All I know is that she came to my room and mh yelled at her not to come to my room. She was fine when she got up this morning and so I sent her to school. I told her if she feels bad to have her teacher call me and I'll come get her.

I'm picking her up at school dismissal to take her to the doctor for her well check, but I still feel bad for sending her to school. I have to take all of next week off for her Thanksgiving break though. Sending her was kind of our only option today.

I’m off today so I could do Lo’s parent teacher conference at 900. I then need to go pickup some pajamas I ordered for the kids and bake cupcakes for tomorrow’s party. I also have homework due tomorrow so I need to do it today.

Morning! I had a girls night last night which was so nice. Dh managed the kids but said L was a monster most of the night, but at least I didn’t hear about it until i got home.

Working on tons of laundry today and then we’re heading to a hotel in the cities for the night. Dh has a banquet and I will take the kids to the pool. They are very excited

I asked N if she would like a redecorates bedroom for her birthday instead of toys and she agreed. So now I’m trying to pick out bedding and paint

I'm sorry for all the sick kids. (And moms, did you ever beat that cold lahdeedah?) I hope they all start to feel better soon and can enjoy the holiday next week.

For American Educator week, you can go to school to have lunch with your child, so I’m headed there in about an hour. This is the first time josoe is buying lunch and she is so excited to have a burger at school.
I asked her if she wanted to come home with me after lunch, but she said she doesn’t want to miss tech.

So glad it's Friday.

Our lights didn't get completed yesterday, so the light guy has to come back this weekend or someday next week. Our weather is so cold and crappy now, I'm not sure when he will finish. I felt bad for him yesterday, as cold as it was.
I have a hair appointment tomorrow, other than that, zero plans this weekend.

Got an update from mh about last nights events. She didn't vomit vomit, she was coughing and basically spit up. Now I feel better about sending her to school, but I'll still talk to the doctor about her stomach pain complaints.

Happy Friday ladies. The girls and I will finally finish watching Klaus tonight. So far they've really enjoyed it. I want to veg out under a blanket on the couch with cheese tonight. Living the dream.

H had his ultrasound this morning. The tech said she didn’t see any stones but it looked different to her. Not sure what that means.

Gross weather here today, thankful I don't have anywhere to be. I'm working on my grocery list for next week/T'giving meal.

DH's has strep, so that's fun. The base pharmacy computers were down, so they couldn't fill any scripts. But they won't let him go to Walgreens, etc., so he has to drive across town to another base pharmacy. THEN he gets word that his name is on the random drug testing list for the month so he has to go back to the office to give a urine sample. So it's a banner day for him.

B just got on the bus and the garage door repair guy is here. I overheard his conversation with the PM about what needs to be done to the door. He had her on speaker and she was desperately trying to find a way to pin it on us, like we did something to cause it. He was like, "No, ma'am, this door is original to the house (1960s)...they're lucky it's lasted this long." It really needs to be replaced, is his (and my) opinion. She told him to patch it along and she'd talk to the owner (ha, right). I hate this stupid PM. Hate.

It was an ultrasound of his salivary gland to see if he had stones that were causing the parotitis. I specifically asked her if she saw any stones and she said no. I know they’re not supposed to give you results since they aren’t doctors, but she apparently used to do these types of ultrasounds all the time at MD Anderson.

We meet with the ENT Monday afternoon so we’ll see what he thinks.

Thanks for asking. I did! Two shots and oral antibiotics got me right. Last night I started to get a sore throat. Wtf! I’m still taking the oral meds. I guess I’ll start back up on the Zyrtec in case it’s just drainage.

flamingo, your poor H. The last time I had to do a UA I was having my period so that made it extra awesome. Plus they read this really long, awkward instructional brief first that made it even weirder and more uncomfortable to have a coworker watch me pee. Good times.

The girls were excited their school met their fundraising goal from the Fun Run and as a reward they got to wear pajamas today. I'm excited because I never have to hear about the Fun Run again this year. (They remind the kids they get more chintzy prizes with more pledges so they were trying to get me to give more money every night. I gave once and that was all I was going to do.)

flamingo I'm angry for you about that stupid garage door. If you told the owner what you heard, would it make any difference? At least you got someone out there who knew what they were doing. I hope your H gets home soon and can rest.

tgrimes I'm glad you get to see the dr Monday to see what was on the ultrasound. At least you don't have to wait *too* long.

Evie came home with a check for $100 yesterday.  She (me) sold the most items in her fundraiser out of her school.  I knew we sold alot, but DAMN!  

I told H I should probably have told the PTO to keep the money and put it back into the PTO, but no, it was a damn lot of work.

The owners are nice people, but they know about the issues we've already had (and lord knows they've experienced the PM lying, avoiding them, etc) and they haven't pulled the plug, so I doubt more ammo would do any good. Honestly, I think they know we're taking good care of the house so they aren't interested in rocking the boat and making a change until they have to (i.e., when it's time for new tenants).

It’s rainy here. Looking forward to leaving work. I’m just going home to clean a little before getting M2 later. My mom will be in tomorrow for a visit, so just have to get the guest room and bath ready.

Tonight I want to just eat and veg on the couch if M2 let’s me.
