Surprise! The darn garage door is off the track for the third time this fall. The last time the guy came out I think he thought I was BSing bc he ‘couldn’t find a problem’. So we email the property mgr and are like, hey, this happened again, do you have a different company you’d like to use? Shockingly she responded promptly, but wants us to use the same company. Cool, so I’ll just go ahead and schedule them again for January, too, I guess. 🤦🏻♀️ This would drive me crazy. We park in our garage. I'm not NOT parking in my garage because they're idiots! I hope someone who knows what they are doing can get out there quickly and FIX IT! Although I guess if I couldn't park in the garage, then I would know what the weather was like and remember to wear a damn jacket some days! Yeah, I'm a garage parker, too. I absolutely hate having my car in the driveway. The earliest they can get out to us is Friday. We emailed back asking for a different company but I doubt they'll respond. Honestly, IMO the whole mechanism should be replaced, but trying to get the PM and owner on the same page and/or spending money is nearly impossible. Five months, five months, five months...

I don't know the going rates of health clubs...I pay $30 a month with my insurance discount. But if I read that correctly, I'd have to pay $228 for a year program membership, plus the one time joining fee of $49, then the health/sports/fitness of $88 per month? So $1333 for a year? No thank, I'll just be unhealthy!
What did your H say about all this???

I used to attend master classes there for ballet/tap as a kid. They always brought in good people.

That's great, but that averages out to $111 per month, even without the *amazing* deal your husband got! I'll stick to my boring gym at $30/month. With no classes on sperm.

FIL showed up and said he had a good time.
I did however, just get a message from the teacher saying Cadence was complaining she had a stomachache earlier. She said she was almost in tears during reading, but then was fine during centers and their counselor session.
I have no idea if that stuff occurred before or after lunch. School is out now, so I guess it doesn't matter, but maybe when it was happening they should have called me or messaged me rather than waiting until school was already out. Cadence has after care until after 5 today, so I guess I wait and see if they call me. Idk.
I'm assuming she probably just had to poop or something. I'll ask about it when I pick her up.

Welp, Botox broke the Internet. They basically had to shut down the promo bc their servers couldn’t keep up. Whoops!
The place I go to is apparently going to offer a similar deal tmrw so I will be standing by, lol.

So there are pools in this area that offer summer memberships for $400-500. That seems to be the going-rate for things like that, so the JCC price doesn’t surprise me. In FL neighborhood HOA/CDD fees—which get you access to swim, fitness, maybe dining—are usually $1-4K a year, plus you’d still pay for lessons, classes, etc. . Country clubs are obviously more...so when you look at it that way the community center is pretty reasonable. With that said, no thanks to a random membership I didn’t want lol. Your H will definitely live in infamy for this one tgrimes.

Due to #45s visit, mh got to leave work early. Traffic is going to be a nightmare. I asked him to go ahead and pick up Cadence, that way if her stomach really does hurt she can be at home and not at aftercare. We'll see how long it takes me to get home....I may take my sweet time.

You guys. Is it possible to have my period at 6 weeks pp?! My bleeding stopped 3 weeks ago and now it’s back and I have very mild cramps. I didn’t get it until after a year with the other two, and I’m nursing this kid practically every two hours. Not cool. I have my 6 week appt tomorrow. Really hoping this is just random late bleeding. Ugh. Anyway, sorry for the tmi. No plans today. I might take H to my parents so i can have the afternoon to myself. With both of mine I stopped bleeding for a little bit and then it came back for a short time and then went away completely. Fx that’s all this is.

Hey. H fell and scraped her face, arm and knee up at recess today. I got a call from the nurse and she took her sweet time telling me what she was calling me about. Apparently H was very brave and didn’t cry at all. Everyone in my house is stuffed up and S has a yucky sounding cough. Yay winter. I’m currently sitting at dance class.

If the school nurse calls I want details asap. "M is fine! Just a headache" no small talk!

Here’s a pic of H’s face injuries. Of course it’s right before we do Christmas card pics and she’s in the nutcracker. PDQ

Bless her heart trtlcrzy. Hopefully it'll heal fast...I remember B scraped up his forehead badly right before some pics we had, and it ended up being a non-issue (and there's always photoshop!) At least her teeth look intact

Poor thing trtlcrzy. I would cry if I fell and did that! I was talking to H about it and she said she cried when she was outside and it first happened, but was done by the time she got to the nurse. I was surprised when the nurse said she didn’t cry, because she cries about everything.
